Memorable memory
I love this expedition of 6 days in Kenya. We didn’t go in the best season (may) to see lots of animals but we were lucky as I saw lots of baby and multiple species. Our guide sir Charles was very nice and made this experience even more special
Best tour ever!
Our safari with Zohar was fantastic! We traveled to Tanzania in February 2026 and everything couldn’t have been better or gone smoother. Lilian and her team created a great itinerary and was very easy to communicate with before, during and after our trip. Our guide, Solomon, had a keen sense of where to find animals and could interpret what was going on by watching other animals. For example, just by looking at the zebras, Solomon knew they were watching something and then we would find that something, like a cheetah or lion. Solomon also made sure we had the best views of everything! The accommodations were fun and comfortable. The meals at the lodges and out on safari were delicious. It was amazing to be eating lunch with giraffes walking by out in the middle of the bush! I could go on and on about our wonderful Zohar safari! We would go back in a heartbeat! Worth every penny!

From the moment we joined his vehicle, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He always kept us informed about the daily plans, happily answered our many questions, and shared fascinating insights about the wildlife, parks, and local area throughout the trip.
What really stood out was his experience and remarkable ability to spot animals. Thanks to his sharp eye and expertise, we enjoyed some amazing wildlife sightings that we might otherwise have missed. He also created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in the group, making long days on safari both fun and comfortable.
Our visits to Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, and Amboseli were fantastic, and Derrick played a big part in making those experiences so special.
We would highly recommend Derrick to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated safari guide. He truly helped turn a great trip into an unforgettable one.

Brilliant Safari
We only had a short time for a safari as we were going to Zanzibar. We have done a safari in the Masai Mara for several days previously so wasn't sure about a short one but we were not disappointed as we got to see a lot of animals over a short space of time including Rhinos which we never got to see in the wild before. Our driver Wilfred was professional and polite throughout. He knew where to find a lot of the animals. He wanted us to see the big five but we didn't see lions or leopards but this wasn't due to Wilfred's efforts as he went above and beyond.

Explore Great Migration | Pro Guides & Efficient Local Service to Meet African Big Five
Our guide picked us up starting from Mount Kilimanjaro. Our first stop was Tarangire National Park, known as a paradise for elephants. We were incredibly lucky to spot a leopard right after entering the park. Along the way, we also saw elephants, lions, giraffes and many other wild animals.
We then headed to the Ngorongoro Crater, before moving on to the iconic Serengeti Grasslands. There, we witnessed the great migration of wildebeests and zebras. We also came across a pride of 15 lions and watched them hunt, which was absolutely breathtaking.
I had long hoped to see cheetahs. Our guide went out of his way and spent three hours searching patiently. Eventually, we found three cheetahs, making my wish come true.
Knowledgeable, dedicated and responsible, he led us to see a great variety of rare wildlife throughout the trip.
These five days were truly rewarding and unforgettable. Getting up close to the wild beauty and vitality of the African savanna was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour group and our excellent guide!

Our safari with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was worth every penny! Our guide was exceptional highly knowledgeable about the ecology and animal habits, always happy to answer questions, and great at positioning the vehicle for the perfect photo angles. The service and delicious food at our luxury lodges were top-tier, and the staff even performed an incredibly unique and beautiful birthday song. My only minor complaint is that some of the lunch provided outside the hotels weren't very tasty, but overall, the excellent guiding, reliable service, and high-quality accommodations made this an unforgettable and highly recommended experience!

The only safari operator you need to consider and we researched plenty
We were a group of seven and chose Spirit of Kenya after being impressed by how quickly and helpfully Filipa responded to our initial enquiries. That responsiveness honestly set them apart from every other operator we contacted, and it turned out to be a good sign of things to come.
Our guides Nester and Joseph exceeded all expectations. Nester in particular has an exceptional depth of knowledge wildlife, birds, local ecology that none of us had encountered in previous safari experiences. He also has a wonderful rapport with communities around the Masai Mara, which gave our group genuine, unscripted insights into Maasai culture and daily life.
When local protests created potential disruptions to our itinerary, both guides handled everything calmly and expertly, getting us to each destination safely. It was reassuring to be in such capable hands.
Logistically, the trip was flawless every hotel check-in was smooth and well arranged, and thoughtful touches like the Spirit of Kenya branded water bottles showed real attention to detail.
If you are considering Spirit of Kenya, don’t hesitate. Ask for Nester and Joseph as your guides, and you will not be disappointed :-)

Absolutely incredible, great company!
We were nervous about making such a big commitment as a safari at a time when global travel had become uncertain. But Extra Miles lived up to its name at every opportunity. From the beginning, their clear communication and reasonable pricing stood out from other competitors. Our safari coordinator, Faith, was so understanding and patient. She helped us to thoroughly understand our options and our commitment. Her communication was clear, proactive, and professional.
We were happy to get to finally meet her on the morning of our hotel departure, along with the company director, Melisa, and our wonderful guide Felix.
Felix took excellent care of us every step of the way, safely navigating the most challenging driving conditions, whether on long drives between locations, or in the parks. He gave great recommendations, and arranged extra activities along the way. Most of all, his 20+ years of guide experience really stood out, making him seem like a good luck charm with all of our incredible animal sightings!
The Sopa lodges (Mara and Nakuru) were beautiful, with incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. I highly recommend this experience and this company, they truly go the extra mile.
