Everyone was knowledge, flexible, and helpful!
5/5

Our honeymoon to South Africa was nothing short of perfect. Kathi helped us to plan and execute a perfect itinerary. Upon arrival, all of the drivers and tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The entire trip was seamless - from hotel reservations to transfers from one location to another. It allowed us to really relax and not stress about any logistics. The highlight of our trip was safari. Kathi was very helpful in educating us on the different types of lodges and game reserves, and ultimately with her guidance, we picked Dulini which was incredible. We will surely be back to South Africa. Thank you for all of your help!

Knowledgable
5/5

We all had an incredible day out today with our driver and tour guide, Nuhu. We saw so many amazing animals, including hippos, elephants, and giraffes. Nuhu was exceptional at getting us to the best spots, giving us unforgettable wildlife sightings and the best possible experience. He was friendly, fun to talk to, and shared many fascinating facts throughout the day. His knowledge of the wildlife and the local area was truly impressive. I would highly recommend Kihindo to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience

From Zanzibar's Beaches to Chimpanzees in Gombe – The Most Extraordinary Journey of Our Lives
5/5

When we first told our friends that we were combining Serengeti and Gombe in one trip, many thought it sounded too ambitious. Thanks to the incredible planning by Elias and his team, it turned out to be one of the smoothest and most rewarding travel experiences we have ever had.

Our adventure started in Zanzibar, where we boarded a small bush flight to Serengeti. Seeing the endless plains from the air was breathtaking, but nothing prepared us for what awaited us on the ground. Over five unforgettable days, we explored different parts of Serengeti and experienced wildlife on a scale we had only seen in documentaries.

We witnessed lions hunting at dawn, elephants crossing right in front of our vehicle, and countless wildebeest spread across the horizon. Every day felt different, and our guide Peter played a huge role in making it special. His ability to read animal behavior and anticipate wildlife movements was remarkable. He always seemed to know where to be at exactly the right moment.

After Serengeti, we flew west toward Gombe, which felt like entering another world entirely. The transition from vast savannahs to the lush forests along Lake Tanganyika was incredible. Gombe offered a completely different kind of wildlife experience more intimate, more personal, and equally unforgettable.

Our guides Hassan and Don were fantastic. Their knowledge of the chimpanzee families, the forest ecosystem, and conservation efforts made every trek fascinating. Watching wild chimpanzees interact just a few meters away was one of the most emotional wildlife encounters we have ever experienced. It felt less like observing animals and more like witnessing a family gathering in their natural home.

Throughout the trip, Elias was always available and ensured everything ran perfectly. Flights, transfers, accommodations, permits, and logistics were handled so professionally that we could simply enjoy the experience without worrying about a thing.

What makes this itinerary so special is the contrast. In one journey, we experienced the iconic wildlife of Serengeti and the unique primate encounters of Gombe. Few destinations in Africa can offer such diversity in a single trip.

Looking back, this was not just a safari it was an expedition filled with unforgettable moments, incredible people, and memories that will stay with us forever.

A heartfelt thank you to Elias, Peter, Hassan, and Don for making this dream adventure possible. We would return in a heartbeat.

Incredible
5/5

Peter was our driver and guide from Nairobi to the Isebania border. For three days and for three nights he made us feel extra special, always finding the animals, explaining different landmarks, the names of different trees and birds. Our time with Peter will never be forgotten, it was a “pinch” me moment the whole time we were with him. His vehicle was always clean tidy and comfortable. We would highly recommend the Safari company “beyond the plains” and should we be ever so fortunate to come again wouldn’t hesitate to use them and request Peter again.

We really enjoyed natural beauty in a single day.
5/5

My partner and I recently completed a day trip to Arusha National Park, and it exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The park is incredibly beautiful, with woodlands, open grasslands and stunning views of Mount Meru. One of our favourite moments was watching giraffes peacefully grazing just a short distance from our vehicle. We also saw zebras, buffalo, warthogs and a variety of monkeys throughout the day. Our guide Jam was knowledgeable, friendly and very enthusiastic about the wildlife, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere of the park was a great contrast to the larger safari destinations, which we loved. The views around the lakes were breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to see birds life in the distance. It was a relaxing yet exciting adventure that left us with unforgettable memories. We would happily recommend this trip to anyone travelling with Agama Tours and Safaris without any hesitation.

Excellent and safe tour with DAV Safaris and Julius as our guide.
5/5

We just came back from an amazing 5‑day trip with Dav Safaris that started in Kigali and took us through Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Kibale, finishing in Entebbe. Honestly, it was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had.

Our guide, Julius, met us right on time at our hotel in Kigali and from that moment on we felt completely taken care of. He knows so much about the parks, the animals, and the local culture, and he always made sure we were comfortable and getting the most out of every stop.

Especially at the Bwindi National Parks seeing gorillas, our amazing experience with the gorilla family was 100% thanks to Julius making sure we're assigned the best ranger and the friendliest gorilla family.

The wildlife sightings were unforgettable:
- Bwindi gave us the chance to see gorillas up close — something we’ll never forget.
- In Queen Elizabeth, we watched leopards stalking antelopes, saw herds of elephants, hippos lounging in the water, crocodiles nearby, and endless antelopes running free.
- And in Kibale, we spent time with chimpanzees in their natural habitat, which was just incredible.

Every lodge we stayed at was spot‑on: clean rooms, welcoming staff, and food that was consistently delicious. After long days of adventure, it felt great to come back to such comfortable places.

If you’re thinking about visiting Uganda we can’t recommend Dav Safaris enough. And if you can, ask for Julius — he’ll make sure you have the best time possible.

Unreal, authentic Uganda
5/5

Massive shoutout to Ibrahim who's communication style kept us completely at ease, regular updates/check ins and made the process so easy and simple.
Also to note our guide/driver Benjamin had a beautiful presence, a friendly smile and a wealth of knowledge about Uganda. He made the trip unforgettable!
We will be sharing Dav's Safari with all our friends and family and wish they have the same experience we had.

Our incredible 8 day trip to Tanzania
5/5

Organising our trip with Serengeti Smile was excellent. Piniel was very helpful in getting us the exact trip and experience we wanted at the best cost we could afford. We started with a fantastic day hike of Kilimanjaro with a really great mountain guide. Wisdom (our driver) was also really accomodating as he picked us up from different places and taking us to our next destination. Then we met John, our safari guide for the rest of our trip. And that was absolutely exceptional. We got to see so many animals and experience unforgettable events (such as witnessing the hunt of a cheetah finally catching a gazelle). John was an amazing guide and made the trip so enjoyable for us. Highly recommend.
