Best experience ever
I recently returned from a 7-day safari tour in Tanzania, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences of my life. From breathtaking landscapes to incredible wildlife encounters, every day was packed with adventure and awe.
We stayed in a mix of charming lodges and luxury tented camps. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild under the stars was magical. The food was fresh, plentiful, and catered well to dietary needs.
Everything was organized to perfection. Our guide, Anderson, was not only experienced and friendly but also deeply passionate about wildlife and conservation. His insights made every moment richer.

Reliable and quick to respond
We are a retired couple, and we've used DK Tours to arrange a private, 10 day safari. From the beginning, it was a good experience. Webster responded very quickly to my email, and booked hotels, meals, activities, and transportation. When our plans had changed, he modified our trip to accommodate our needs. I was in contact with Webster via email and WhatsApp, which made the booking stress free. A couple of other operators that I'd contacted, wanted more than twice the price we got from DK Tours, and they use the same hotels and game drive operators! We started our tour in Victoria Falls, where we were picked up by one of the Webster's associates, and transferred to our hotel. On the same day we went on a sunset cruise, which was excellent. I don't want to detail our whole itienary, but we stayed in Victoria Falls, Kasane, Elephant Sands, Nata, and Maun. We visited the fabulous Victoria Falls, attended boma (dinner with local performers), three river cruises, seven game drives (one of them on a canoe in the Okavango Delta), and a helicopter ride over the Okavango Delta. We saw enormous number of animals, just as DK Tours advertised. We also had the pleasure to spend time with Webster, as he picked us in Kasane, and stayed with us for the rest of our trip. Great person, very knowledgeable, good natured, and fun to be with. Overall, it was one of the best trips we've ever had, and we spend most of our time traveling the world. Thank you, Webster, we'll be back!

Wonderful
We had the most amazing experience with nature connect. Our guide was Sam and he was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and attentive throughout our journey. The resort’s were beautiful and the food was great, they were always trying to tend to our needs, it was great value for the amount of money we paid and excel our expectations in a way that in the end of the trip we were sad that we had to come back. Nature Connect is a very reliable company and they took such a great care of us, and even booked a hotel for the last day free of charge and did the transfer to the airport also free of charge (@ 3am!) just to make sure that we would get there safely. Francis was the one taking care of the logistics and he was outstanding! Africa is a wonderful place and Uganda with all the nature, hospitality of people and beautiful places to see is worthy of your visit! Get out there try new things and don’t be afraid of learning about a new culture and bring back home great memories!!!

You won't go wrong booking a bush camping safari with Khangela Safaris
I had dreamed of visiting Africa for most of my life and as I got older, I realized it was time to make that dream reality. I started doing research about where to go and when to go. I definitely didn’t want to do a safari like you see in online videos where you’re packed into one of many safari vehicles full of tourists surrounding some animal. I also didn’t have the money to stay at an exclusive lodge on a private game reserve. I thought about doing a self-drive camping trip but since I had no Africa experience that didn’t seem like a good idea. Eventually I found out that in some places you can do walking safaris with a guide. The idea of being able to leave the vehicle to observe animals on foot really appealed to me. So, after more research I discovered Khangela Safaris operating in Zimbabwe. I sent Mike Scott, the owner, an email inquiry to which he responded promptly and after some back and forth I booked a 5 day, 4 night mobile tent camping safari to Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe for May 2025.
Mike picked us up at our accommodation in Victoria Falls Town and drove us to the campsite in Hwange. It was just my wife and I so we had an exclusive experience.
The campsite was located on a hilltop overlooking a reservoir filled with hippos and crocodiles and frequented by a wide variety of birds. The sound of hippos and birdsong filled the air. Our spacious cabin tent faced east and we were treated to some of the most glorious sunrises I have even seen. Timely, delicious meals were prepared over an open fire for us and an assortment of beverages was always available along with clean drinking water and wash water. A hot bucket shower was an option every evening. In camp all we had to do was relax and enjoy the sights and sounds including a spectacular night sky.
Probably the best thing about bush camping is the fact that you’re right in the middle of the action. There’s no need to wake up before dawn and drive a long distance to where the animals are, because you are where the animals are. One morning we took a walk right out of camp and found ourselves among some elephants. After short drives from camp, we were in the presence of wild dogs and lions and an assortment of other animals. I set up a remote trail camera near camp and I captured footage of a hippo, impala and kudu. We visited Hwange at the beginning of the dry season so animals were still dispersed but we still saw most everything we were expecting to see and more.
I highly recommend booking a bush camping safari with Khangela Safaris. It was all I was expecting and much, much more. Group sizes are limited to 6 persons so you’ll be sure to have a personized experience with great service. My only regret is not booking more days. I hope to do another trip with Khangela Safaris in the future.

An experience that changed our hole trip!
Our experience was truly incredible, one we will remember for the rest of our lives! Starting with the attention we received before and after the tour from Gift Tembo and the drivers who picked us up in Kilimanjaro airport and left us in Moshi, all included. Camping experience was the best, hearing the sounds of different animals at night and sharing with beautiful people. Our driver for the safari was Robert, an unimaginable source of knowledge and excellent professional, taking us everywhere with passion, he showed us the parks as we wouldn’t have dreamed of, from seeing lion cubs to a live hunting. Also, we had special diet requirements that the chef, Gideon, took into serious consideration but also combined with the best flavors.
We are very very happy of having chosen this great team, we couldn’t ask for more in any way! Thank you guys for everything!

Very knowledgeable, cared about small details and I was informed every step of the way.
I have used super eagles for most of my tours and travel and I have referred friends and colleagues who were impressed as well.
They are always my go-to contact when I am traveling locally or internationally and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and detail-oriented travel partner.

Professional and lovely people
My safari experience with Meru Slopes was wonderful. It was really exciting and full of adventure. We toured the parks with Robert, an excellent driver and guide who took us to see the big five and the ugly five, and made sure we had the best experience seeing the animals and telling us fun facts or answering our questions. He even managed to get us to see a leopard and a lion hunt, which are not so common. His attention and perseverance was key to that. We slept the first night in a lodge and then in tents, but super comfortable with a mattress and pillows and sleeping bag. We also had the wonderful cook Guideon who made us varied and healthy meals following our preferences, a loving attention. I take these days in my heart, I think they will be unforgettable!

The Best Honeymoon Decision: Meru Slopes Safari
We booked our safari tour through Meru Slopes, and it was truly the best decision we made.
Since it was our honeymoon and we had limited time, we contacted several tour companies—but only Almachius from Meru Slopes took the time to carefully customize the itinerary to fit our schedule. He responded quickly and created multiple quote options for us. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to experience so much in a short time—from the balloon tour to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater—all while staying at the best accommodations within our budget. It was the perfect balance of comfort and adventure.
During the tour, the vehicle was in great condition, schedules were followed precisely, and our guide Samuel was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Miraculously, every time we mentioned an animal we wanted to see—he somehow found it for us! He also made sure to check in with us regularly to see how we were feeling, which made us feel really cared for throughout the trip.
Despite the short itinerary, we were able to see an incredible variety of wildlife—countless lions, lion cubs, baby cheetahs, five rhinos, hippos fighting in the water, a leopard, and so many other rare animals. It was a truly magical and unforgettable experience.
If we ever return for another safari, especially with our parents, we will definitely choose Meru Slopes again.
