Amazing safari and guide Thomas!
Despite changing from Tanzania to Spirit of Kenya at the last-minute due to Tanzania unrest, our 8-day family safari in Kenya was excellent from the moment we met our guide Thomas until he dropped us off at the airport. Thomas showed us more incredible wildlife and scenery than we thought possible. After a long drive from Nairobi on our first day, we had our first thrilling game drive with baboons, zebra, lions, cheetah, hippos, crocodiles and many antelope. Each day, we wondered how Thomas could top the last day’s discoveries of crocodile, hippos, rhinos, lions, cheetah, giraffe, and each day had a new moment that topped the last and never ended until the final day. We sat spellbound as a group of 30 or more elephants of all sizes passed right in front of us. We had a wonderful safari thanks to a wonderful guide, Thomas.
Thomas was consistently knowledgeable and patient with us, always asking us which options we preferred. We really enjoyed getting to know him over the week and feel like he showed us what the spirit of the Kenyan people is all about–warm, welcoming and caring. We appreciate that he went above and beyond and sorted out a sticky airline problem for us on our last day as well. We are so grateful he was our guide and highly recommend requesting him if he is available for your safari!
Each lodge we stayed at was very enjoyable, especially since we switched over to Kenya last minute. We particularly enjoyed the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort and Tulia Deluxe Mountaintop tents. Zebra Plains was a nice lodge but it was a very long walk to our tent, which didn’t have much of a view. Overall, however, we were very happy with the accommodations overall, food and lovely personnel at each site.
Thank you, Francisco, for your agility in making a last minute switch from Tanzania to Kenya fairly seamlessly! We appreciate your patience and responsiveness.
One note for improvement: our Welcome/Airport Transfer driver was not at the airport to greet us, and it is hard to arrive late at night in a new country and have to scramble. Fortunately our hotel had a shuttle we were able to use, but as part of the safari package, being greeted by a representative of Spirit of Kenya would have made us feel more welcome.
Our family highly recommends Spirit of Kenya for a life changing trip and recommend that you request Thomas as an excellent guide.

Amazing 4-day private tour safari
Amazing 4-day private tour safari experience with Mountain Warriors ( Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara). Everything was well organized (including our fly-in & fly-out from Zanzibar) - prompt communication via WhatsApp. Excellent accommodation for all 3 nights in Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge, Suricata Boma Lodge and especially Mountain Warriors’ own tented camp lodge in Central Serengeti - brand new lodge, we were the first guests. We particularly enjoyed the tented camp lodge because of the great views and the chance to watch wildlife right from the terrace - and for the exceptional friendliness and kindness of the staff there.
We met our guide, Lukiano, right after landing in the Seronera Airstrip and within approx. 20 minutes we were just three friends staring at a leopard with big smiles on our faces - leopard resting in a tree and then climbing down and calmly walking around the car. And it continued like this until the end of our 4-day tour - like visiting an old friend in a far-away country, him sharing with us all these astonishing landscapes and animal sightings (including some unforgettable close encounters with lions and elephants) which he visibly loves so much and also sharing facts of the history of Maasai people and interesting stories of everyday life too. We couldn't have hoped for a better guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about nature, positive and helpful and full of common sense, constantly involving us in decision-making and attending to our needs. Incredible eye for spotting wildlife and expert driving too. Asante sana Lukiano and see you again!

Amazing safari experience with Sereland
We have just concluded a 10-day stay in Tanzania and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Sereland has been the perfect partner from the very first message. They were always available and responsive, helping us plan the entire trip according to our wishes and clarifying every doubt immediately.
Once in Tanzania, everything was perfectly organized: all transfers, accommodations, and logistics were flawless. We loved every single place we stayed. We spent the first part of the trip in Zanzibar, followed by Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. Everything ran smoothly and always on time. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was consistently delicious.
As for the safari, Mankinga was the best guide we could have ever wished for. Passionate, gentle, and wonderful with our children (aged 11 and 13), he truly made the experience unforgettable. He managed to spot animals that seemed completely invisible to the naked eye, helped us get amazing sightings and photos, and shared an impressive amount of knowledge about animal behavior, plants, ecosystems, as well as geology and history.
We wholeheartedly recommend Sereland to anyone looking for a truly exceptional safari experience.

Traveling with Gosheni Safari was a great
The tour was smooth, well planned, and full of incredible moments.
Our guide Bariki was truly the highlight of the trip. His knowledge, calm attitude, and incredible ability to spot wildlife made a huge difference. Thanks to him we saw zebras, the wildebeest migration, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many other animals - often closer than we expected.
Highly recommended for anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, especially if you can travel with Bariki.

Better than what we imagined
We are three friends and we spent five days with Bakary, our guide, and Kevin, the cook, in three national parks in Tanzania.
It was quite a lot of money, but we were definitely not disappointed.
We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of anything better. Bakary was really nice, fun, and attentive, and he made sure all our wishes came true.
Even though camping in tents was not always as comfortable as we would have liked, we truly lived a dream in the Serengeti and got to see incredible wildlife up close.
Memories for a lifetime.

Very wonderful operating company .
Coordinator: Donatha who helped us plan the safari was very easy to communicate very professional and wanted to make sure that we were well taken care of.
The vehicle: Our transportation was great. The seats were comfortable. They had chargers for your phone and even a fridge to keep your drinks cold.
The food: the packed lunch was fresh and delicious. They make sure there are plenty of vegetables incase you are vegetarian. The meals at the camp were tasty. They have enough options that will cater to almost everyone.
The camp: Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The camp staff were very friendly and the service was top notch.
Driver: our driver and guide was very experienced and knowledgeable. He knew all the best spots to see every animal we wanted to see. He went the extra mile to make sure we saw everything. He made our Safari and unforgettable experience
