Experienced and diligent
We did the 4-5 day safari tour starting in Arusha, to Tarangire the first day, Serengeti the second / third day, and Ngorongoro crater the last day.
Silver was our guide and did a wonderful job handling all logistics as well as being an experienced and informed guide on all the animals. He was extremely punctual and spent a lot of time figuring out where some of the harder to find animals were.
Thanks to his efforts, we were able to spot some cheetahs (mother and cubs) which were really hard to find. We also saw some rhinos in the distance. We saw all the other main animals too - lots of elephants, lions, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, interesting birds, etc. We spent quite a while trying to find a leopard in the trees but that eluded us. But there were plenty of other animals that we were very satisfied with all that we saw. We were close enough to many animals that it was easy to capture them on a phone camera. I did have an entry level telephoto lens camera with me (55-210mm) and that served this type of safari perfectly. We also took a more scenic / back route through the Maasai villages and Silver explained a lot of their customs.
All the accommodations and food was fantastic, the staff all very helpful. Even the camp accommodations in the park were very comfortable with running water and electricity.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. Would highly recommend this tour and our guide.

Excellent service with professionalism
Had a great experience with Pavilion Safari and Tours. Our guide was very professional, and communication was always timely and smooth. We are especially grateful to our tour guides, Moses and Ruben. They were both excellent safari guides—proactive in searching for animals, great at finding the best viewing spots, and always flexible in adjusting the schedule based on our needs. Additionally, we were very impressed by how helpful and trustworthy the team was when we accidentally left valuable jewelry at a hotel—they quickly arranged for another driver to pick it up and sent it back to us based on our schedule. We really appreciate their support and would definitely recommend them.

He was a great tour operator
Me and my fiancé had a great time during this tour. We went to the giraffe centre to feed them and learned about the different giraffes there and in Kenya. We also went to a tower and saw an amazing 360 view of all of Nairobi. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

A true bucket list experience thanks to Laurence!
I’m a traveler who has been to 61 countries all around the world, and this safari in Tanzania was, arguably, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. A huge part of it is thanks to Laurence. His determination, persistence, and ability to spot wildlife ensured that we saw not only all of the Big Five, but so much more.
I had three guides during my 5-day safari. Luca was nice and professional while Pascal was incredibly knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions about the animals, geography, as well as the culture and politics of this beautiful country.
But it was Laurence who made this safari spectacular! On our first day in Serengeti, we saw an incredible pride of lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, a beautiful leopard, and all kinds of antelopes and birds. By the second day, the only animal we were still hoping to find was the cheetah. After hours of searching, we still hadn't seen one. While many guides might have given up, Laurence stayed completely focused. I could see him scanning the horizon while constantly communicating over the radio with other guides. One word I kept recognizing was "Wachini... Wachini...", which turned out to be the word for cheetahs. Thanks to Laurence's determination, with less than an hour left before we had to leave, he finally located a mother cheetah with four cubs napping under a tree. They were incredibly close to our jeep, and we were even able to take selfies with them through the roof of the vehicle! Just spectacular!
The next day in Ngorongoro, we encountered a similar situation. We had seen everything except rhinos. Once again, I could hear Laurence talking on the radio, and the one word I kept recognizing was "Pembe... Pembe...", which of course means rhino. Eventually, he received word that two rhinos had been seen far from our location. He gave us the choice of continuing with a relaxed game drive or making a determined effort to reach the rhinos before they disappeared. We all chose to go for it. Laurence quickly and expertly navigated the rough, unpaved roads, getting us to what felt like the other side of the crater, and just before the rhinos disappeared over the horizon, we were rewarded with the incredible sight of a rhino pair strolling along!
On a safari, a great guide can make all the difference. I truly believe we saw all the Big Five and more because of Laurence's exceptional wildlife spotting skills and his determination to help us find every animal we hoped to see. If you're planning a safari and want to maximize your chances of seeing the Big Five, I highly recommend requesting Laurence. His dedication, enthusiasm, and persistence made this a true bucket list experience!

A kind, reliable guide who made my Maasai excursion memorable and meaningful.
Alex gave me a wonderful experience during my visit to Kenya. He picked me up and took me on a full-day excursion to visit the Maasai community, and the entire day felt thoughtful, safe, and well organized. He was kind, reliable, patient, and professional throughout the experience.
What stood out most was the care and personal attention. I felt welcomed, informed, and comfortable during the tour. The experience was meaningful, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the Maasai culture in a respectful way.
Alex and I have even maintained a connection since that trip, which says a lot about the warmth and sincerity of the service. I would gladly recommend him to anyone visiting Kenya.

Kenya Safari.
We absolutely loved our 6 day safari! Everything went so smoothly and the whole experience was really well and professionally organized. It was also very good value for money. We saw so many amazing places and of course the animals were the highlight of the trip. All the accommodations were cozy and the food was really good (always good options for vegetarians as well). A special thanks to our driver and the guide! Your service was more than what we could have asked for :)

Lynn was amazing! She made our trip out to be the BEST ever! Every step of the way!
The safari planning experience and the trip itself was all EXCELLENT. I was a little hesitant about booking through the internet but the service was very personal. We got great service and they figured out an itenery within our budget. We had a customized trip (where we saw every animal out there) and got to do safaris in a couple places in Africa. It was all well planned and included everything we wanted. We will be back to bring our kids next time and we don’t normally go back to vacation spots. Thanks safari.com and thank you Lynn for all of your hard work and personal service! We really appreciated it all!!!

Tanzania still a country where Adventure remains!
Visit Tanzania for climbing Kilimanjaro. The Adventure is still here. Amazing people - still a little rough environment but in a good way. Fantastic nature and great to see that the country is aware of protecting the environment. Trip in Arusha only good things to say about that.
