Planning a trip of this magnitude required patience, time and attention to detail. Selecting this tour operator made planning very easy and stress-free. Ali was very responsive, even with the time difference, to the most simple inquiry and he took the stress away. This operator was very informative, detailed, professional and made me feel at ease throughout this entire process.
I was communicating with Ali months in advance leading up to the Safari. He answered ALL questions and walked me through the entire process and made me feel at ease. He emailed me all necessary documents and provided timelines and expectations in great detail.
Now when myself and my family arrived, Ali was there to welcome us and pick us up as detailed in the timelines. I literally had no worries throughout this experience. We left Nairobi for a short flight to Maasi Mara Safari and were greeted and welcomed by an experienced tour guide. Luck was on our side because as soon as we landed, we immediately went on a game drive and, as far as the luck, we saw four of the big five within a few hours of landing.
Our guide was experienced, patient and professional. My family and I even enjoyed a lunch in the park on the safari grounds, so amazing. I cannot say enough how amazing this entire experience was from planning, getting there, to leaving five stars all around. I highly recommend this company.

They are a small organization and a pleasure to work with.
We are experienced travelers in our early 70s in good health. This trip was our annual winter bucket list adventure to somewhere warm. I had done a safari + Kilimanjaro trip 25 years before with my ex, and Darrell and I had been on a walking safari in South Africa 10 years or so ago. He wanted a longer safari experience with more wildlife to see. We prefer privately guided tours, so Darrell worked with a couple agents online and accepted the proposal by Apodiformes Adventures. Although far from cheap, in the end, we felt we got good value for our money. Much of that was due to the personal attention we received. We had the same driver/guide (Sebastian) for the entire safari leg of the trip. That included visits to three reserves. There was a LOT of driving, on either rough or non-existent roads on the reserves plus very stressful African highway driving. This is not for the faint of heart or physically fragile. We literally trusted him with our lives. Janet took care of all the travel arrangements which went without a hitch in spite of our occasional confusion regarding how the high-level itinerary was to play out. One of the best parts of the trip was that we felt we could trust them to make sure we were safe and happy with their service.

To be honest, as a first-time safari experience, it was absolutely amazing. In only four days we saw all of the Big Five, witnessed hunts, feline battles, elephant caravans, and tons more. Moria Safaris took great care of us and delivered on every single promise from the booking. They respected our request to have David Irafay as our driver-guide throughout the entire trip, he truly became a good friend of us and was always looking out for us. The food was consistently tasty and flavorful, and cold bottled water was always available.
My personal highlight? Nyani Campsite, where we could hear and see lions, hyenas, rare birds, and hippos right there. Super recommended!

Wonderful safari with Camptrek in Kenya!
We’re so happy that we found Camptrek safaris through online research as they were fantastic from the moment that we first contacted them while planning our trip.
Lucy, in the office, was extremely quick with communication and very patient/flexible when we changed our plans a few times on the lead up to our safari (we had a tailored itinerary that isn’t one of the standard trips)! The price that was quoted was also the most reasonable I received compared to other tour companies.
Our guide and driver, Ndirangu (David) was wonderful - so knowledgeable and kind, always ensuring to help us get the most out of the safari and very adaptable to some schedule changes we made through the week
I can’t recommend Camptrek safaris highly enough, if we manage to return to Kenya or Tanzania we wouldn’t hesitate to book though them again.

Just completed a 2 day safari visiting Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro Crater and had the most fantastic experience. Bwanana adventures took care of everything for us from arranging flights to accommodation. Deo, our guide was waiting for us on arrival at the Seronera airstrip and within an hour of landing, we had already seen lions, hippos, Girraffes, a leopard, multiple elephants as well as many other animals. Deo shared his vast knowledge of each species and was happy to answer all our many questions. We spent the night in Mayo tented lodges which were beautiful. The next day, we set off early to head to Ngorongo crater and Deo took his time to stop off and point out lots of animals on the way so even though it was a long drive, it was a really interesting one. We were lucky to enough to see thousands of Zebra, Wilderbeast, hyenas etc. during the great migration. Ngorongoro crater was a truly breathtaking sight and with Deos help we managed to complete our search for the big 5. It was a once in a lifetime trip for us and I am so glad we booked it with Bwanana adventures

Once in a lifetime experience!
Our safari experience was absolutely amazing thanks to our guide, Pius Meiliar. Thanks to his incredible knowledge, experience, and sharp eye, we were able to spot all of the Big Five with ease. He always knew where to go and how to position the vehicle perfectly, while also explaining animal behavior in a clear and engaging way. We felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the safari. Truly an unforgettable experience and highly recommended!
