From our very first contact with Mike until we arrived back at our hotel, everything was well organized. Communication was always quick, friendly and professional, and Mike carefully tailored the safari to our wishes.
Paying in advance felt a little worrying at first, but there was absolutely no reason for concern. Everything went exactly as promised. Our driver was waiting at the agreed time, and from that moment on we could simply enjoy the adventure.
We visited Nyerere National Park and had an unforgettable safari. Wildlife sightings always depend on nature, but we are convinced that our guide, David, made a huge difference. His knowledge, passion and determination helped us spot an incredible variety of animals, including lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, marabou storks, African fish eagles, and much more. We also had some close encounters with elephant families that were truly magical. David was not only very knowledgeable, but also kind and caring, and made us feel well looked after throughout the trip.
We stayed at Selous Impala Tented Camp, which was an excellent choice. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and the hospitality was outstanding.
It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory for me and my family. We wholeheartedly recommend Extreme Wilderness Adventures to anyone looking for a well-organized safari with excellent service.

Best trip ever
We spent 10 incredible days with Lion King, starting with a visit to Arusha followed by eight days on safari. During our trip, we explored Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Park.
This was our honeymoon, and without a doubt, it will remain the most special and unforgettable trip we’ve ever taken.
Our first guide, Sharhan, showed us around Arusha, and he did an amazing job. He was joyful, positive, and shared so much with us about the city’s culture and history. It was the perfect introduction to Tanzania.
For our Kilimanjaro hike, we were accompanied by Saladin. We reached the first camp in a single day, and he made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, and adapted the pace to our fitness level. He also had a great sense of humor and taught us a lot about the mountain, its wildlife, and the surrounding nature. We spotted several monkeys along the way and had a fantastic day with him.
Finally, we spent eight days on safari with Amani, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was always punctual in the mornings while remaining flexible whenever we were running a little late. His knowledge of the wildlife and the different parks was exceptional. He was an excellent driver, incredibly patient, and always made sure we had the best possible experience.
Not only did he help us spot the Big Five, but we also saw five leopards and two pangolins, something incredibly rare. We truly feel that this trio of guides brought us incredible luck, but the reality is that Amani’s expertise, experience, and ability to read the bush made all the difference. We were also fortunate enough to witness the Great Migration in the north.
One thing we especially appreciated was the respect Amani showed toward the animals. We didn’t want to contribute to overcrowding or stress wildlife with too many vehicles around them. Whenever he saw that too many safari cars had gathered around an animal, he preferred to move on and find another sighting elsewhere rather than add to the disturbance. That meant a lot to us.
We also stayed at Lion King’s lodge in the Serengeti, Nyota, which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The lodge was beautiful, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the overall experience was exceptional.
Another memorable moment was visiting a local orphanage, where we were able to donate school furniture. We genuinely appreciated that Lion King gives back to the local community by supporting charities and local initiatives. It made our trip feel even more meaningful.
We ended our safari with the Lake Manyara Treetop Walk, accompanied by Simon. He was knowledgeable, funny, and shared fascinating stories about Tanzanian culture and the different tribes. He made the experience both educational and entertaining.
Communication before and during the trip was seamless. The team was always quick to respond to our questions. We were mainly in contact with Jovitha and Nickson, and everything went smoothly from the planning stage to the very end of our trip. Even while we were in Tanzania, we had a few phone calls to adjust some details, and everything was handled quickly and effortlessly.
The payment process was also secure and straightforward. We paid by bank transfer using Revolut, and everything went perfectly.
From beginning to end, Lion King was reliable, professional, and extremely well organized. They were also flexible enough to add activities during our trip whenever we wanted. Throughout our honeymoon, we truly felt we were in good hands. Several hotels, as well as the Lion King team, surprised us with thoughtful gestures to celebrate our marriage, which made the trip even more special. There was always plenty of water and refreshments in the vehicle, and the safari car itself was comfortable, clean, and reliable.
Finally, we were amazed by every place we stayed, whether it was a luxury tented camp or a hotel. The hospitality was outstanding everywhere we went. Every member of staff welcomed us with kindness and made us feel at home. It truly elevated an already unforgettable experience.

We cannot say enough good things about Big Cats African Safari and our wonderful guide, Omega. From the initial planning stages, their communication was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful. They expertly balanced our specific interests—such as adding a day hike on Mt. Kilimanjaro and witnessing the Great Migration—with their own deep expertise to design the perfect loop through Tanzania. Our ten-night itinerary included Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tarangire, multiple regions of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Leading up to our trip, they provided excellent guidance on what to expect and how to prepare for the trip. Once we arrived, the whole trip was seamless. Omega met us at the airport and was an extraordinary guide throughout the duration of our journey. Manuel from Big Cats also met with us upon our arrival to help us know what to expect each day.
Omega worked tirelessly to ensure we had a world-class experience. His knowledge of the local wildlife and the region was remarkably impressive – a function of his inquisitive nature and many years of study. He was also very responsible about not disturbing animals in their habitat. Together with this expertise, Omega’s friendly nature and his focus on our safety and comfort made the trip into memories for a lifetime. We were particularly impressed that Omega often knew how to find animals based on his educated hunches – rather than following other safari vehicles to the obvious highlights. Because of his expertise and his sharp eyes, we saw every animal we could have hoped to see – e.g., lions, leopards, cheetahs, black rhinos, white rhinos, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, and many many others. And birds! Once Omega learned that we were also interested in birds, he was able to help us spot and learn about hundreds of different birds.
For our accommodations, Big Cats selected tented camps that were clean, comfortable, friendly, and perfectly located for spotting wildlife. In the end, the price was similar to three other quotes we received from various safari companies. But we learned that some companies were more reluctant to help us design a custom itinerary – Big Cats worked with us every step of the way. We’ve been lucky go on several African safaris and many games drives. Big Cats was far and away our best experience.

Speke Holidays provided us with a long-awaited dream holiday in Uganda.
This trip was unique and fulfilled a long-held dream of ours: to see mountain gorillas in the wild.
We were amazed by the diversity of the country, the beautiful national parks, and the high density of wildlife.
The Kazinga Channel, in particular, was a dream come true—seeing so many animals together at the water's edge. All the experiences described in the itinerary came true. We saw shoebill storks, tree-climbing lions, leopards, and many other animals.
And the chimpanzee and gorilla tracking sessions were the most emotional highlight of the trip for us.
Uganda is a beautiful country with friendly people and truly the green pearl of Africa.
Speke Holidays did an excellent job organizing our two-week tour of Uganda. The route took us through the most important national parks.
The accommodations were very well chosen, and the food was always excellent.
With our experienced driver Hussein, we always felt safe. He always steered the Toyota Land Cruiser perfectly through the sometimes difficult routes.
Our guide Ian told us a great deal about the history of Uganda, the customs and traditions of the people, and was able to explain all the animals and birds to us. He is very empathetic and we had a good relationship with him and also had a lot of fun.

Amazing experience!
We had an amazing experience with Good Secrets Safaris and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.
From the very beginning, Elsy was incredibly helpful and professional. She handled all the arrangements, answered our questions promptly, coordinated the hotels, and made the entire booking process smooth and stress-free. Everything was well organized, and we always felt we were in good hands.
During our 5-day safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, Evans was our guide. He was always friendly, positive, and willing to help with anything we needed. His great attitude and constant willingness to make our experience as enjoyable as possible really made a difference throughout the trip.

Makasa's strength lies in connecting you with a perfect local team. Éric, our French-speaking guide, was passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly. Julius, the driver, was really kind and very skilled at finding the best spots to observe the animals.
The lodges offered were good, especially the Kimbilio tented camp, with a truly wonderful team. During our stay at this camp, the Makasa owners were present but didn't show much warmth, they didn't take the time to welcome us.
Choose Makasa for its local teams, who are truly excellent and deserve working! Makasa should invest in a new vehicle for Julius, he deserves it, and it would be more comfortable for travelers. We hope you'll have the chance to be guided by Éric in French or English, it will be a wonderful experience for you!
