Our family trip with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was incredible. We traveled with a large group of 14, and despite all having different arrival and departure times, as well as different budgets, they were very flexible and accommodating. Everything went so smoothly, from airport pickup, to checking into the Nairobi hotel, to taking us to Wilson airport, and finally picking us up from the airstrip and taking us to our camp and around Maasai Mara. From the office, we worked mainly with Cynthia, and she was very responsive, both over email and WhatsApp, and was very patient with all our questions. Our group had two driver guides, Jack and Sir Charles. Two couples stayed at a different camp than the rest of the group, and the four of us mostly stuck with Sir Charles on the 6 day safari. He’s been doing this for 16 years and his experience absolutely shows. He is incredible at anticipating animal behaviors, which was so advantageous to help us get prime viewing spots. We were able to get some amazing shots of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many other animals thanks to his expertise. He’s also an expert at driving a manual transmission. My husband was very impressed that he never stalled. Overall this was an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to Axis!

My family and I did a 6 day safari visiting Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. We had an amazing time on our safari – it was truly an unforgettable experience! Both of our guides, Thomas in Kenya and Yassin in Tanzania, absolutely made the experience what it was. They were both so friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the animals and Africa from them! They were definitely the best part of our experience. While we were on our game drives, we could easily see the difference in engagement, excitement, and knowledge between our guides and others we saw in the parks. Both of ours were truly exceptional and we cannot thank them enough! Of course the animals were also amazing! We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 during our trip. This trip is something we will never forget!

Kim took our needs as his top priority. Our safety came first. His knowledge about wildlife and birds were truly remarkable. He would even spell out the names of the animals for us. He knows exactly where to position for the best photo and kept a safe distance from the animals. He is an ethical guide who respects the wildlife and environment.

Truly memorable day in Arusha
I had a great experience with this tour company during a day tour in Arusha. Our guide, Juliana, was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the local culture and history. She shared many interesting stories and details that made the places we visited much more meaningful.
The tour was well organized, relaxed and comfortable, and Juliana was friendly, attentive and happy to answer all our questions. It felt much more personal than simply being taken from one place to another. I really appreciated her enthusiasm and the way she helped me understand more about Tanzania and its culture. If I ever come back to Arusha, I will definitely book more tours with them!

We had an absolutely unforgettable trip to Kenya from start to finish. The whole experience was incredibly well organised, and every day was filled with amazing wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery that exceeded our expectations.
A huge thank you to our guide, Stanley, whose knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for Kenya's wildlife made every game drive so interesting. He was brilliant at spotting animals, answering our endless questions and ensuring we had the best possible experience throughout the trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Stanley was able to arrange anything we wanted throughout our stay, making the whole experience completely stress-free and tailored to us.
We'd also like to thank our driver, Mike, who was fantastic. He was professional, friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable at all times, even on the rougher roads. His skill and calm manner allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the journey.
A special mention also has to go to Elatia Camp in the Masai Mara. Stanley recommended we stay there, and we're so grateful he did. It is, without question, the best place we've ever stayed. The location is breathtaking, the accommodation is beautiful, the food was exceptional, and every member of staff made us feel so welcome. Falling asleep to the sounds of the African bush and waking up in the heart of the Mara was an experience we'll never forget. If you're planning a safari, trust Stanley's recommendation – you won't regret it.
Together, Stanley and Mike made an excellent team and truly helped make our holiday so special. We would highly recommend Stanley to anyone considering a safari in Kenya. His knowledge, organisation and ability to arrange absolutely anything you could want make him the perfect guide. We returned from our Chobe Safari Lodge and Murchison Falls trip with Pumba Adventures Tours and Travel, and it was a truly beautiful and memorable adventure.
From the beginning, the service was highly professional. Our driver-guide, Joze, arrived on time and gave us a clear briefing on the itinerary before we set off. This immediately made us feel safe, calm and well prepared for the journey.
He was knowledgeable about the different places we visited and willingly shared information whenever we asked. What I appreciated most was his ability to read the mood of his clients. He knew when to engage us in conversation and when to allow us quiet time to reflect and enjoy the journey without overwhelming us with endless chatter.
He also ensured that we were warmly received at the hotel and checked in on us periodically throughout the trip to make sure that everything was going well.
