Highly professional and flexible - excellent tour operator
We cannot recommend this company enough - our trip was perfect. They responded very quickly and were highly professional. There was a misunderstanding about the starting point of the trip (only a few hours before the departure of our flight) and Reagan was reactive and we could very fortunately solve the problem before getting on the plane. Also the lodges that the company chose were lovely.
The main reason why this trip was so special to us was our driver Isaac - he was incredibly kind and always in a good mood. I appreciated how protective he was of us and I felt safe 100% of the time thanks to him. When we had special wishes or questions, he was always there and tried his best to make everything possible. Also he chose the best restaurants for the days we were on the road. My fiancé and I had a hard time to say goodbye after one week as we were able to share so many memories, laughs and happy moments. I did not expect to create such a beautiful bond.
If we could go back in time there would only be one thing we would change - we would not do the Batwa Community Walk at Gifted Children Foundation which was included in our itinerary. We heard a lot about foundations who exploit small communities and use poor people as a backdrop and travelers as cash cows — and unfortunately, this experience was exactly that and left a very bad taste. Of course, this is not DAV Safaris’ fault, but perhaps it’s something that could be reconsidered or avoided in future itineraries.
Every other experience was excellent and we loved every part and minute of it. Thank you Isaac - you are a great person and we were honored to spend our trip with you. We could not have found someone better - lots of love

Great value for money tour.
After searching for tours on the internet, I booked a 4 day tour witch Davs Safari from the UK before coming to Uganda. Communicating by whatsap and email. I was met by my Guide (Julias) in Jinja and set off on a 4 day tour. Due to my location the transfer on the 1st day was very long, this wasn’t a problem as I was able to take in so much of the local community and experience real local life. Julia’s pointed out a fare bit of knowledgeable attractions and assisted with any of my requests. Be prepared for a bumpy ride at times (Ugandan massage) id suggest that older or more disabled travellers request comfortable transport whilst booking your trip as some roads are not as smooth as others, don’t feel intimidated not to ask the guide to slow down or speed up. Meal plans throughout were catered for and were of good standard and variety, all I had to pay for were my drinks, after reading the contract back I should have only had to pay for alcoholic drinks so make sure you confirm this from the start. I was impressed by all the lodges booked bar one which didn’t seem to have a lot on the menu for breakfast and dinner. All staff were friendly and helpful no matter where I went, there’s a lot of security around so safety wasn’t an issue. Be sure to understand the currency and best to use local shillings UGX or Visa pay (we know it as contactless or card payment) I wasn’t hassled to tip staff at locations, I used discretion and gave as necessary which was really appreciated by the staff. Pack light get all the equipment you need for hiking and get yourself fit for an enjoyable experience. Even those with disabilities can hike on certain tours as the local staff will arrange for assistance at a cost. The tours were impressive and I got what I paid for, my only disappointment was that I didn’t get to see a full grown silver back Gorilla like I wanted too, however I didn’t get to see and get close to a family of Gorillas and take some memorable photos. If at all your itinerary has to change in any way discuss this with your guide and then his/hers supervisor, something is always workable. I must again say that my guide was superb all the way, honest reliable and willing to address any issue. The tour itself was good value for money and definitely worth the money I spent.

This is a very devoted, knowledgeable and fun team. I really learnt alot during the visit from them. They have vast knowlege of every area we visited. Very careful drivers. Time keepers. I did not believe that they were at my hotel at 6.00am as agreed waiting for my team. Viva team Giz Masaai Safaris

professional , pefect
Our 3-day Ndutu safari was perfectly arranged and went very smoothly!
The guide was professional and thoughtful, providing a guide book to East African wildlife, and clearly explained every animal we saw.
He also took fantastic photos for us.
The travel agency has its own hotel in Arusha, offering excellent one-stop service.
Overall, it was a perfect experience—highly recommended!

Professional and friendly
Greg company was professional, and provided all that we expected, even a bit more. Good and experiences guides (Abdi and Abdul), who were also friendly and good company, and with whom we exchanged many stories and conversations. We were treated very well. We (newly weds) did Marangu route, 6 days, it was hard but still a worthty life experience, and we are happy we did it.
