We had an absolutely amazing 7-day safari with Axis Safari in Kenya and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our itinerary included the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate National Park (where we cycled through the park!), and Amboseli National Park. Every destination offered something unique, and the entire trip was perfectly organized.
The wildlife exceeded all our expectations. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five except for the rhino in the Mara, including a leopard, several lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, antelopes, and an incredible variety of birds. The rhinos we saw in Lake Nakuru. Every game drive brought new surprises, and our guide always knew where to find the animals.
The budget accommodations were much better than we expected—comfortable, clean, and with friendly staff. They provided everything we needed after long and exciting days on safari.
A very special thank you goes to our guide, Jack. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife was outstanding, and his passion for nature was obvious every day. He worked incredibly hard to give us the best possible sightings, answered all our questions, and made the trip fun with his great sense of humor. Thanks to Jack, we had unforgettable encounters with lions, cheetahs, and even a leopard.

Exceptionally well organised
Aron Mugisha personally accompanied us for the entire 12 days and his organisation was incredible and thus ensuring that we had the most amazing Gorilla experiences in Rwanda and Uganda. Once he knew we had an interest in birds he catered to our interest as well.
The Serengeti experience was phenomenal with beautiful accommodation and wildlife encounters. Our overall 12 day experience was faultless and very well organised.

The tour operator was very friendly and made a lot of effort.
The safari was very good. Our guide was called Frank, and he was truly excellent. He listened to all our wishes, accommodated our requests, and put a lot of effort into making the experience special. We were able to see all the animals in the park. We booked the safari through the camp, and everything worked smoothly. The communication and service were outstanding. We definitely recommend it!!

We had an absolutely amazing 7-day safari in Kenya with Axis Safari, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime!
We visited the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate National Park (where we even got to cycle among the wildlife!), and Amboseli National Park. Every place was different and brought its own special experiences, and everything was very well organized from beginning to end.
The wildlife was beyond anything we could have imagined. We were incredibly lucky to see almost the entire Big Five, only missing the rhino in the Masai Mara. We saw a leopard, lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, so many antelopes, and an incredible number of different birds. Every game drive felt like a new adventure, and we were constantly amazed by what we got to see.
The budget accommodations were also a lovely surprise. They were clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with friendly staff and everything we needed after a long day of safari.
And a very special thank you to our guide, Jack! He was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the parks and animals was impressive, and you could really see how passionate he is about nature and wildlife. He always did his best to find the animals and give us the best possible sightings, while patiently answering all our questions. He also has a great sense of humor, which made the long drives even more enjoyable!
Thanks to Jack, we had some truly unforgettable moments, especially our encounters with lions, cheetahs, and the leopard. These are memories we will keep for a very long time.

From communication and trip planning right through to the actual tour, no wish goes unfulfilled. The choice of hotels was wonderful and the value for money excellent. With Lion King, everything is exceptional, right from the very first minute.
We were extremely lucky to have driver/guide Clement accompanying us on our trip. He puts his heart and soul into his work. You notice that every single day. He has a keen sense of his guests’ needs and what matters to them. He’s the sort of person you enjoy having around. Friendly, patient and professional, his driving style is safe and precise.
A highlight of our trip was seeing the Great Migration in the north of the Serengeti with our own eyes. Thanks to Clement’s driving skills, his knowledge of the national parks and his knack for being ‘in the right place at the right time’, we were incredibly lucky to witness two absolutely spectacular river crossings from the ‘front row’ – complete with crocodiles in action.
Nothing escapes Clement’s eye! We had several leopard sightings: in Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti and Northern Serengeti; on some days in Central Serengeti, up to eighty lions with lots of cubs; a convergence of several elephant herds, totalling over 130 animals, which seemed to pass right by our vehicle within arm’s reach; cheetahs; hippos; giraffes; rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater and everything else you could possibly wish for.

Excellent value private safari — patient expert guide and unforgettable sightings
From the very first email, communication with Jocky Tours was clear, prompt and patient — they answered all our questions before booking and made the whole process reassuring. On the ground, the service was excellent: our guide James was professional, endlessly patient and incredibly skilled at finding wildlife, and Enkorok Mara Camp was comfortable with great food and warm, welcoming staff. In terms of reliability, everything went exactly as promised — the private vehicle, the itinerary and the arrangements were all spot on, with no surprises. The tour itself was unforgettable: over four days James found us lions several times, a leopard feeding on its prey up in a tree, a cheetah, a black rhino and all the other classic Mara animals. For a fully private safari, the value for money was outstanding. We would book with Jocky Tours again without hesitation and highly recommend them — especially guide James.
Beyond amazing experience!
Everything was absolutely great from start to finish.
Elijah was so helpful planing the perfect itinerary and was extremely responsive. We were greated by the whole team at the start of our safari.
But the best was Lawrence, our guide. We were travelling with young children (3 and 5y) and he was so patient and great with the kids. They absolutely loved him.
He took us to all the best places. We saw all the animals we were hoping to see (including a stunning Leopard sight in Masai Mara). He was extremely knowledgeable and the best guide we could have hoped for!

An amazing safari experience with an outstanding guide
We had an absolutely amazing safari with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, and it exceeded all our expectations. A big part of what made this trip so special was our guide, John Mwangi. He was incredibly friendly, patient and passionate about his job. Thanks to his experience, we were able to spot an incredible number of animals, including many that we would never have noticed on our own. He always knew exactly where to go and took the time to make sure everyone had a good view and the chance to take photos. He shared so much interesting information about the animals, their behavior, and the Masai Mara ecosystem.
If you're planning a safari, we would definitely recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, and if you're lucky enough to have John Mwangi as your guide, you're in for an unforgettable experience!

Magical safari and beach vacation
Emma and Sarah set up the perfect Tanzanian adventure for us. They worked with us to customize exactly what we wanted and made great suggestions on accommodations and tours. Our driver, Patrick, was wonderful. He had a real knack for finding all the animals we wanted to see and was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals we saw. He seemed genuinely excited with each find right along with us. The balloon ride in the Serengeti was amazing. We did 7 days on safari in all the northern circuit parks. All of the accommodations were great and a couple were beyond our expectations. We finished our holiday with 4 nights on Zanzibar. The beach resort we stayed at was amazing with a room overlooking the crystal clear Indian Ocean. It was a perfect way to unwind after the excitement of the safari. We would definitely recommend Sunset Adventure Safari to everyone.
