I recently did a seven day tour of Ethiopia, to Addis, Lalibela and Danakil. Essence Ethiopia did a great job and made everything super easy and hassle-free. Everything went smoothly, from the airport transfer to accommodation to domestic flights to the trips themselves. 3 weeks ago today we departed for Africa, having just an idea of what was in store for us, But still nervous of the unknown. All we knew was we wanted to trek and see Gorillas in Uganda jungles, see Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya and see as many wildlife animals as possible on safari’s, Experience a Hot Air Balloon ride, Visit the Equator, See the largest Waterfalls in the world, and Lastly see penguins in South Africa and tour CapeTown.
After 21 days, 8 planes 10 different hotels/Lodges. Too many hours to count in Land Rover Safari vehicles with amazing drivers/Guides. We are home with memories and pictures/videos that went far above and beyond our expectations. All Tammy and I can say as we return home. Was that real or just an amazing dream. We had so much fun want to return and explore more of Africa.

Best Value Tour in Ethiopia
We were a small group on a 14 days tour with Ethio Top Land Tours, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
Lamesgn, the young owner, is very professional, kind, and humble. He welcomed us at Bole Airport and made us feel special even putting our country’s flag on the car.
We enjoyed unique cultural experiences like a traditional coffee ceremony, local food, and visiting the Omo Valley tribes. The Danakil adventure and Lalibela were unforgettable highlights.
Everything was well organized and truly worth the money. Highly recommended!

A professional and caring operator that goes above and beyond for its guests.
The safari tour was truly amazing – everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The communication beforehand was smooth and reliable, which made the whole experience stress-free.
I was picked up directly from my lodge and brought back to my hotel after the tour. They even took care of my luggage by safely storing it at their office and later delivering it to my hotel, which I really appreciated.
At one point I wasn’t feeling well, and the team went out of their way to accompany me to a pharmacy so I could get medicine – such a thoughtful and caring gesture.
Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the guide was outstanding. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, which made the experience unforgettable. Drinks were provided throughout the tour, and the food was also very good.
I can highly recommend this tour to anyone – the value for money is absolutely worth it!
