Behind the wonder of our trip is the work of so many people, who welcomed, guided, and fed us every day with care, kindness, and always a smile. Our driver Melita took us on a journey to discover all the big five and the ugly five, giving us a unique and unforgettable insight into each one and a unique experience. The food was excellent and plentiful at every meal, and the campsites were well-equipped and comfortable. I recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to live the true safari experience.

Excellent safari experience
Our guide Melita was amazing. We had a great trip with choosing 4 days trip with camping. All the explainations were perfect for each animal. We saw all the big 5 very close to us. The food was amazing too. We recommand Suricata Safari 100% !!!

unforgettable experience
you can trust them , they will get things done and make it happen. ( sometimes the operator can be a little “pole pole”) .
Much appreciated for our guide Ernest to make our first journey in Tanzania (not just safari) soooooo unforgettable and memorable. He’s funny ,kind ,so gentle and considerate during the whole journey . I learnt so much from him ,not only limited to animals knowledge.
All the staff in hotels we are staying are also so great.

Our guide, Edward, was an absolute rockstar. His incredible knowledge of the wildlife, sharp eyes for spotting animals from afar, warm personality and sense of humour made every game drive educational and endlessly exciting. We were lucky enough to witness breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife moments in Serengeti that we will cherish forever.

Amazing time with Botswana nature. Keya Botswana Travel go way beyond my expectations. Edwin and his crew were amazing. Logistics and food great however Edwin took us in places with breathtaking views of animals. Great communication with owner. Keya Botswana make me feel like I was around family. Highly recommended to travel with them for amazing memories. Spending few days in those locations in nature and sleeping around wild life animals it was life time experience but Edwin and his crew make you feel safe

I read the comments on safaribookings, as well as a few social networking websites in China, hence I reached out to RO Scavenger and a few more operators for quote. Among them, RO Scavenger was the first few to respond. I remember the contact person is Silas, he was able to quickly come up with a customized itinerary, provide detailed breakdown of all the fees and charges, and answer my questions. The communication was mostly smooth and clear.
Then I want to express my sincere recommendation of your guide Edward. He is very funny, talkative and professional. He is especially welcoming to Chinese clients - in that he learnt some Mandarin by himself, and prepared a Chinese version of animal guide book which has been extremely useful for us to understand the name, habits and behaviors of those animals.
Throughout the 7-day trip that covered Tarangire, Ngorongoro, central and north Serengeti, Edward explained what would the programs be for the next day, and always patient in answering our questions. For the most important part on game drive - I love Edward for what he has done. We saw all the animals that we wanted to see, including the big five - not possible without his expertise (and the friends he has). I sometimes wonder how could he see animals so distant in the grass, but it turned out he just could. From lions sleeping in the bush to leopards hiding in the tree, we saw all the nature has to offer.
And Edward has the patience - the other day we were waiting for wildbeasts to cross the Mara River, and they just didn’t make the move. Edward assured us and we waited for long enough that we finally see the spectacular Great Migration that we came so far to see.
Finally, maybe not directly relevant to the tour, Edward has helped 3 times to other tour guides who had trouble with their safari car. Although it means slight delay to our game drive, we were happy to see that his kindness has helped other groups in their unlucky times.
I genuinely enjoyed the trip, I am more than thankful for RO Scavenger and Edward to help me (and my partner) to make this trip such an unforgettable experience.

It was everything fine and flexible.
I spent 8 days on safari with my husband, and I truly enjoyed every moment. I’ve wanted to return ever since our last trip in 2019, and I’m so glad we did. We had Yassin as our guide back then, so I specifically requested him again this time. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, especially accommodating my wildlife photography needs when I needed unique angles and perspectives. Thanks to him, we managed to see the Great Migration from an incredible spot. Thank you for everything - I hope to be back again one day!

An Amazing Safari Experience
I had an incredible safari experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone traveling to Tanzania!
Our guide Joel was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, responsible, and genuinely funny. Thanks to him, we were the first to spot a leopard resting in a tree, and he always found us amazing viewing spots. Within the first two days in the Serengeti, we had already seen almost all the animals on our list, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the wildebeest migration!
Edson, our driver, was also amazing. He was not only a great driver but also always knew where to find authentic, delicious, and affordable local food, which made the trip feel much more local and memorable.
And a big thank you to Ignas, who was incredibly responsive and responsible throughout the trip. Whether I messaged him at 5 AM or midnight, he always replied quickly and helped me find a solution.
Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania!
