A very special thank you to our guide, Mbwana — he was truly like a walking Google! His knowledge about the wildlife, nature, and everything we saw along the way was incredible. He was always patient, friendly, and made our safari experience even more special.
If we ever come back to Tanzania, we would absolutely choose Mountain Warriors again, and without a doubt, we would ask for Mbwana as our guide. Highly recommended!

Amazing
We had the best time with our guide Alex. We got to see the big 5 in just two days, along other amazing animals such as a cheetah, crocodiles, hippos, ostriches and many others.
Alex was always helpful and in a good mood, he managed to get to most of the rare sightings before they got crowded, which allowed us to get the best experience we could hope for.
We felt we got the best value for money; the accommodations were better than what we expected - queen size bed and own bathroom in our tent, including a hot shower.
We also chose to go see the Masai which was a wonderful experience.

We had an absolutely incredible experience in the Masai Mara, and a huge part of that was because of our wonderful guide, John Mwangi.
From the very beginning, John was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. His knowledge of the wildlife, the Mara, and the behaviour of the animals made every game drive so much more meaningful. He always seemed to know where to go and, just as importantly, when to be patient and let nature unfold naturally.
What impressed us most was his dedication to making sure we had the best possible experience. He was incredibly attentive, answered all our questions with enthusiasm, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. His sharp eyes and experience helped us spot animals .
Beyond his knowledge and skills as a guide, John was simply a wonderful person to spend time with. His kindness, knowledge about wildlife and genuine love for the Mara made every day special. We came for the wildlife, but we left with unforgettable memories and a real appreciation for our guide

Fast and easy communication, without any issues, very nice people
Me and my husband chose Kenya to enjoy our honeymoon and decided to go with Jocky tour for safari and we could not have asked for more!
Email communication (with Maureen) was very fast, with sufficient informations and very nice. The reservation and pre-payment went without any issues.
This tour was better than we could have ever imagined. Andrew - our guide - made this whole tour very enjoyable from the first minute in the car. Very approachable and funny guy!
He shared with us about kenya culture, traditions, tribes. Andrew answered every question we asked.
We stayed in Enkorok Camp and it was great as well. Comfort stay, it had everything you need. Starting from your own bathroom with a shower and a toilet to drinks at the pool. Very kind and helpful people. It was an amazing experience to sleep in big tents right next to the wildlife. To be waken up from singing birds and different animals is something you can‘t describe, you have to experience!
During our visits in the Masai Mara National Park we saw lots of wildlife and four out of the big five! Andrew gave us great insight on all animals, took some off road tracks to find the animals we wanted to see and whenever we asked for a quick stop to either take a picture or - as he called it - mark our Territory, he did not hesitate and placed the car perfectly to take pictures or hide behind it.
Thank you for this great experience, we wouldn’t change a thing and would book it all over again!

It was the best experience of my life. Safari was well organised. Pickup and drop were on time. Admins were highly cooperative.
Coming to our safari, what an experience it was. We saw all big 5, ugly 5 and the rarest of the species. Special mention to our guide Alex, if went extra mile to get us the best shot possible. I would highly recommend you ask for Alex for your Safari. We actually did 7 days including Amboseli.
I would highly recommend this. They are best in giving the experience at a very reasonable price.
Our first safari tour could not have been led by a safer, more attentive driver
Sampson met us at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
As we set off for Nairobi, he teased out what we actually knew about Kenya, and introduced some curious details about this continent.
A briefing followed and next morning he met our group of eight promptly for the drive to Maasi Mara.
We were impressed at his ability to cover the miles needed while conversing and answering questions, and yet being cautious about road conditions including, toward the end, very uneven terrain.
We were surprised/pleased at his ability to adjust our itinerary to suit the pace and requirements of everyone in the vehicle.
Given that limitation, we saw more, particularly of the cheetah and lions than seemed possible, at first.
And despite the time all of that took, we got to the River Mara to see (and hear) the hippos and sites of wildebeest crossings.
My critique (and I imagine it had little, really, to do with Sampson or this particular operator) is that we should have been briefed about the readiness of the Maasai themselves to sell souvenirs. I would have preferred buying directly from them rather than from the commercial outlets encountered before meeting the Maasai. They explained that they used the proceeds of souvenir sales to fund market purchases, since they herd cattle, but do not plant crops... As well, that income is crucial for schooling their children.
Should I repeat the experience sometime, I'd surely be calling again on Sampson and Nature Insight Safaris.

An Unforgettable Masai Mara Experience
Our safari in the Masai Mara was truly unforgettable, and a big reason for that was our amazing guide, John Mwangi.
He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and the Mara, and his experience was obvious from the very first game drive. He knew exactly where to look, understood animal behaviour so well, and always took the time to make sure we could enjoy and appreciate every sighting.
What we appreciated most was his patience and genuine passion. He never rushed us and always made us feel that every moment in the Mara was special. Whether we were watching lions, elephants, cheetahs, or simply enjoying the incredible landscape, he made the experience even more fascinating with his knowledge and stories.
He was also extremely friendly, helpful, and thoughtful throughout our trip. We always felt safe and well looked after, and spending time with him made the safari feel less like a tour and more like an adventure with someone who truly loves what he does.
We will remember our Masai Mara experience for a very long time, and we are incredibly grateful to John Mwangi for making it so special. If you are planning a safari, I would highly recommend having him as your guide. He is truly exceptional at what he does!

Lion King were great - yes we saw the big five and our guides were very knowledgeable
I initially engaged another safari broker but I tried lion king based on the reviews and seeking a price comparison. Lion King were very professional and thorough and came in considerably cheaper for similar or same accommodation. Our guides (Geoffrey and Jafari) were great. They were open to what we wanted to see and do and their in-depth knowledge of the flora and fauna was extensive. We spent 10 days with them in total and would highly recommend them.

We enjoyed a fantastic safari in the Maasai Mara. Our guide was professional and experienced, with sharp eyes for wildlife. He skillfully adjusted routes for better animal sightings and shared rich knowledge about savannah creatures and local Maasai culture. He drove safely on rough roads and was patient with our photo‑taking. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable trip and highly recommend this guide.
