Unforgettable Tanzanian Adventure
Choosing Suricata Safaris for our trip was the best decision we made. Staying at their lodge was very comfortable and provided great food after full days out in the parks. Our guide Jeremy was absolute class—so skilled at tracking wildlife and always making sure we were comfortable and having fun. We managed to spot all the major animals while learning so much about the local ecosystem. The entire journey felt seamless, safe, and incredibly well planned.

Proactive, communicative and welcoming!
Having just completed a 4 day 3 night camping safari tour through Tausi trails adventure, I can honestly say I would recommend it to everyone!! We had fantastic communication with Katharine from head office prior to and during the trip. Our guides, Ali, Eric and Pemba were fantastic and knowledgeable and we felt completely safe in their hands. Our chef Mohsin made incredible meals for us as well! We saw all of the big 5 and so many other animals, got some amazing photos and overall just loved every second! The value for money was amazing and I would love to do the whole thing all over again.

Amazing life experience

A trip of a lifetime
My friends and I did the 3 day golden monkey and gorilla trek with Kyooma. Honestly, it exceeded all of our expectations. Our guide Shever was kind, efficient and had a great sense of humour. It was like traveling with another friend. The accomodation was amazing, particularly our lodge in Uganda. We were well fed with unlimited water. We were luckily enough to come across 2 other Gorilla families on the trek to our group. This meant we saw a large number of gorillas playing and interacting- absolutely mind blowing! My advice- book the trip. Kyooma will organise everything, keeping you safe, well fed and having the time of your life.

A special thanks to our guide, Omary. He is very experienced, friendly, patient, and always willing to help. His knowledge and experience made a huge difference to our safari, and we really enjoyed having him as our guide throughout the trip.
I would also like to thank Akai, who coordinated everything with us before and during the trip. She was always quick to respond to my messages and did her best to accommodate our requests. I really appreciated her patience and effort in making sure everything was arranged properly.

Amazing Safari with Dickson
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience with Dickson as our guide! From the very beginning, he was incredibly welcoming, friendly, professional and always in a great mood.
Dickson made the whole safari unforgettable. He has an impressive knowledge of the wildlife, the parks and the animals, and he was always happy to explain everything and answer all our questions. He knew exactly where to go to give us the best chances of seeing the animals, while always being patient and making sure everyone was enjoying the experience.
Beyond being an excellent guide, Dickson is simply a great person. He is kind, funny, attentive and genuinely passionate about what he does. We shared so many great moments and laughs with him throughout the trip, and he really became an important part of our safari experience.
Everything was incredible from start to finish, and a huge part of that was thanks to him. The landscapes and wildlife were amazing, but having such a great guide made the experience even more special.

Extremely trustworthy tour operator with Estomih as a stand out guide.
My wife and I joined Safari Soles this August for an eight-day luxury safari, and we had an outstanding experience. Everything was extremely well coordinated from beginning to end. For anyone comparing different outfitters for a Tanzania safari, I wanted to highlight a few aspects of our experience that particularly stood out.
Most importantly, our guide, Estomih, was exceptional. He guided us for the six days we spent on safari and was everything we could have hoped for in a guide. In addition to speaking fluent English, Estomih grew up in the Western Serengeti and has an extraordinary knowledge of the area. He seemed to know every game trail and could navigate effortlessly without relying on GPS. He was also an excellent driver, deftly handling some very rough roads and repeatedly positioning us for remarkable wildlife encounters—often getting us into better viewing positions than other vehicles nearby.
Just as impressive was Estomih’s knowledge of the wildlife, ecology, and history of the region. He could answer seemingly every question we threw at him and added a tremendous amount of context to everything we saw. Beyond all of that, he is simply a warm, friendly, and enjoyable person to spend six days with. Estomih is truly a first-rate guide, and I would recommend him without hesitation.
Our experience with Safari Soles as a company was equally positive. They were thorough, transparent, and dependable throughout the entire process. Everything was carefully planned and happened exactly as communicated. Our Land Cruiser was very well equipped, and the accommodations throughout the trip were excellent.
One experience in particular says a great deal about the company. After we had agreed upon our accommodations and total price and had already paid our deposit, Safari Soles contacted us to say that our agreed-upon budget was actually sufficient to upgrade several of our accommodations at no additional cost. They could easily have kept the difference, and we would never have known. Instead, they passed that value back to us. I thought this was an exceptionally generous gesture and, more importantly, a reflection of the kind of honest, customer-oriented business practices you can expect when working with Safari Soles.
That same flexibility was evident at the end of our trip. When our departing flights changed at the last minute, Safari Soles was more than happy to rearrange our itinerary on very short notice, and the resulting changes worked out perfectly.
We came away extremely impressed with both the company and our guide. I am very happy to give Safari Soles—and Estomih in particular—my highest and completely unqualified recommendation. If we were planning another safari in Tanzania, I would not hesitate to work with them again.
