I booked a 6-day safari trip with Spencer Safari and had the most wonderful experience! We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti (2 nights) and Ngorongoro, and it was incredible! The guides were knowledgeable (you could ask them anything), the cooks prepared delicious meals (real food, not packed sandwiches), and the accommodation was fantastic throughout (comfy tents you could stand in, with a mattress, a sleeping bag and a pillow). I saw an amazing variety of wildlife - including the Big Five - and learnt a lot about animals, the Great Migration, local ecosystems, and life in Tanzania in general. I also met some great people from different countries and made new friends along the way.
It was very well-organised from the beginning (excellent communication - email, whatsapp chat, personalised brochure with the safari schedule, Q&As, hotel booking, checking-in, personal welcome, briefing) to the end (post-safari meeting, asking about experience/feedback, lift to the bus station). It provided a high‑quality experience, plenty of time for diverse wildlife encounters, and it was genuinely affordable - probably one of the best values on the market. The best damn safari of my life
I booked with Daniel at African Bush Explorers for a day in Nairobi National Park followed by the elephant orphanage, and honestly, I am a little bit afraid of animals so I went into this tour with some trepidation. Lets just say, I ended up enjoying every single moment of it.
Daniel was quick to reply at every stage of the booking. He gave me the best price I found anywhere, and it was a full package, so once we got to the park I did not have to pay for anything else. He picked me up from my accommodation and dropped me back afterwards, which took all the logistics off my hands.
Then there was the safari itself. Daniel was determined that I would see as many of the Park's inhabitants as possible and took me into every nook and cranny of the park to make it happen. The moment I keep coming back to was a lion couple. There must have been twenty other cars trying to get a view, and Daniel positioned ours so that the lion was basically lying right outside my window. I still cannot quite believe it. It was absolutely surreal.
He is also genuinely knowledgeable and shared a lot along the way, but what I appreciated just as much was his sense of when to just enjoy an almost spiritual moment with nature in silence. There were moments that called for reverence and he read every one of them. Sitting there just watching these beautiful creatures in perfect peace and contemplation is something I will not forget.
If you are on the fence, book it. I nearly talked myself out of it and it turned out to be the best day of my trip to Kenya.

A well managed safari experience
We had contracted Apodiformes for our 8 day safari tour. We were a group of 10. Apodiformes (Janet) was our contact through the booking process and helped us with appropriate communication throughout the booking process, at Nairobi and during the tour. We had booked Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru, and 3 days in Mara.
During the tour I was in a Jeep with Kevin as an our Safari guide and driver. Our other Jeep had Sebastian as the Safari guide and driver.
Both Kevin and Sebastian are very knowledgable about the locations, animals and are excellent at finding the viewings and providing photo opportunities, and a great experience to soak into the Safari. They were organised and always ended the day with a plan for the next day. Of course with a safari there are bound to be some hiccups but they took care of the issues well.

A Fantastic Experience
After doing quite a bit of research before our departure, we came across Super Eagles Travel and Tours, and from the very first contact, we felt we were in the right hands.

As for the safari, we were lucky enough to be accompanied by Musa, a truly wonderful and friendly person. In fact, if I can offer one piece of advice to anyone thinking of planning a trip with Super Eagles Travel and Tours, ask for Musa as your guide — he was simply fantastic.
His experience and, above all, his knowledge of the area made all the difference. He knew exactly where to go and, more importantly, when to move on in order to maximize our chances of seeing the animals in their natural habitat. He didn’t just take us to the various spots — he seemed to almost anticipate the animals’ movements, explaining what we were seeing and always doing his best to give us the best possible sightings.
The result was incredible: in just two days, we managed to see all of the Big Five — an experience we will never forget.

Get Together was great. I'd highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. Emmanuel and the rest of the team were always very responsive and were able to tailor our tour exactly how we wanted. Our driver/guide Sifael was the best and was able to find the animals we wanted to see and find ways to fit many amazing experiences into each day. This was one of the best trips of my life. It was a great experience at a great price. Leading up to the Safari, Irene was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our questions, answering everything very quickly. When we got there, she made sure we had everything we needed and told us more information for the tour. During the trip, our driver Yaseen was spectacular. He drove us around in a timely manner and was able to guide us to see all of the animals on our list! He was very knowledgeable about the animals as well. Yaseen made sure we always had enough food and water, helped carry bags, brought extra amenities camping, and tailored the experience to our asks. Our cook Mussa was also awesome, cheffing up some excellent meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall, communication was great, all parties involved were reliable, and we had a once-in-a-life time experience. We'd do it all over again with Unveiled!
