smart, knowledgeable, value for money.
5/5

Our guide, Musa did execute his work as he had documented it. He kept time, and we also didnt disappoint him. Day 1 we went to the Rhino sanctuary, saw the Rhinos and later set out to the Murchison National Park. Saw the water falls and headed to the Bamboo village resort, we did swim in the evening as it was too hot and after a long day. 2nd day we did a game drive & boat cruise and we saw the leopard, giraffe, elephants, crested crane, crocodile, baboons, hippopotamus.
Musa kept teaching us throughout the journey, communication was top notch, service was good and we did get value for money.
Finally on the last day, he took us through Bulisa and we witnessed the oil sites, came through Hoima and we also witnessed the home city stadium.
It was indeed a nice experience, it was a family tour and the kids really enjoyed the trip.

Great experience
5/5

I had a great safari experience with Mustafa as my guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very patient throughout the trip. He knew the Serengeti very well and was always happy to explain the animals and the environment.

As I was travelling on my own, I really appreciated how attentive and considerate he was. He made me feel comfortable and made sure I had a great experience. I saw many amazing animals and really enjoyed the safari.

Thank you, Mustafa, for a wonderful experience!

Simply unforgettable
5/5

I had an unforgettable 11-day safari, including a day hike to Kilimanjaro Base Camp (Mandara Huts), with Kilimanjaro Unforgettable, and I would book with this company again in a heartbeat. From the initial contact to the last day, everything went perfectly.

Even during the planning stages, I had excellent communication with the manager, Nassoro. He took the time to understand my wishes and put together a fantastic trip for me. During the safari, I was in contact with the office every day. They always checked in to make sure everything was alright and that I was doing well. When something didn't go quite according to plan, they reacted immediately and found a solution. This made me feel very well taken care of the entire time.

A very special thank you goes to my guide, Gerald. He was the perfect guide. Gerald is incredibly experienced and has a vast knowledge of the animals and the natural environment. We saw all the animals there are, and my personal highlight was the wildlife crossings in the Northern Serengeti.

I am so grateful for this trip and for the people who made it so special. I can wholeheartedly recommend Kilimanjaro Unforgettable 100%. If I go on safari again, it will definitely be with you again, and hopefully with Gerald again!

Amazing first experience in Tanzania with Kilipath
5/5

We have booked a 5 days safari for 3 people, and after it we are going to do another 7 days just for 2 of us, both with Kilipath.
They have been amazing so far, we are going to finish our first one and has been a 5* experience.
Lydia has been incredibly helpful during the whole time, since the start giving us advices and information, until the end of the first safari.
The staff is great as well, our driver Raymond and the chef Pasco (hope I wrote down the names OK) Both are more than great.

Many thanks for the whole crew, you are top.

5/5

Amazing coordination by Peter everytime we connected. Mombasa seashore stay is good, but dont advise to city tour by you as people doesnot know. Amboselli, and masai mara we cant narrate words. Our driver cum guide Big Tom is Gem of a person. We insist in future to drive through by Tom only. We enjoyed lot in Masai Mara.

Excellent experience with great professionalism and value for money!
5/5

Let us start by praising Peter for excellent communication & professionalism from the very beginning!
Secondly, we are really grateful to be acommodated to full extent after our unplanned flight change took place, where agency really covered us well.
Our tour guide was Richard, and we enjoyed experience so much that we forgot we skipped one full day. He is, in particular, very knowledgable about Masai Mara where we saw ALL of big five. What we particularly appreciated is him being so skilled and putting an effort to find animals, with highlight of seeing black rhino, great communication, keeping us safe, and being punctual! He is great driver, positions vehicle so well and seems respected among other guides and rangers.
We also visited Amboseli with him, after lake Naivasha and crossing Nairobi.
We felt respected, heard and we carry wonderful memories.
What we would particularly like to highlight is choice of places to stay, they were clean, in great location, with good food, warm water, charging stations and kind staff.
After five days, we can only thank Axis Africa Safaris for making this experience memorable and unique! 😊

The Best Honeymoon Safari!
5/5

Kojuu Safaris is incredible and I will be recommending them to everyone! My wife and I completed an 8 day safari for our honeymoon. I highly recommend Losim as your trip coordinator and Leonard as your safari guide. I compared many Safari companies to find the best honeymoon trip.

From the beginning, Losim did an incredible job listening to our wants to customize our dream trip. I am especially thankful for his recommendations on flight plans and trip logistics. Even when I had to make last minute adjustments, Losim was very accommodating. Upon arrival, Losim brought beautiful roses for my wife to celebrate our marriage! His quick and thorough communication made planning this trip easy with no stress!

On the safari, Leonard was the best guide ever! He was very accommodating to ensure we were comfortable and stocked with food and drinks the entire trip. He was a wealth of knowledge and took the time with every animal we came across to give us a deep understanding of the animal including behaviors, unique traits, and how they interact in the environment.

When we first entered the Serengeti, we were a bit anxious as we did not see the “cool” animals like Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, etc.. Patience was key and in no time, Leonard had us up close and personal with all of the big cats and other fascinating wildlife. It was very rare that we were in a “traffic jam” of other safari vehicles. We were able to have intimate experiences like seeing a pride of 10+ lions and witnessing the great migration without seeing another safari vehicle around us. That is something that definitely stood out to us. Along with these experiences, we also saw multiple leopard sightings, multiple instances of cheetahs hunting their prey, elephants charging a lion and cubs, and plenty of other incredible wildlife memories. Leonard ensured we had the best view during each moment.

Lastly, Losim and Leonard did everything possible to make our honeymoon special including “Just Married” on the safari vehicle, sundowner drinks, candlelit dinner, rose petals/drinks/snacks at every lodge, and even a song/dance from the lodge staff dedicated to our honeymoon.

It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Kojuu safaris was a difference maker to give us this once in a lifetime experience!

A complex trip made completely effortless
5/5

We had a very positive experience with Beacon Safaris and would happily travel with them again.

Our itinerary was quite complex, involving international arrival in Nairobi, a transfer to Wilson Airport, domestic flights, several different camps and hotels, safari arrangements in different areas, and finally a few days on the coast in Diani. Before the trip, we naturally wondered whether all these connections would work smoothly in practice. Once the journey began, however, everything felt remarkably seamless. We rarely had to think about logistics ourselves, which gave us a real sense of security and allowed us to simply enjoy the trip.

From the moment we arrived in Nairobi, the arrangements worked well. A driver met us and transferred us to Wilson Airport, our domestic flight was properly arranged, and when the flight was delayed by several hours, our guide Alex was still waiting for us when we finally arrived in the Mara.

Alex was one of the highlights of our safari. He was not simply a good driver, but a genuinely professional and knowledgeable safari guide. He understood wildlife behaviour very well, knew the area, drove extremely safely and steadily, and always showed real respect for the animals. We never felt that he was chasing sightings just for the sake of getting closer. He was patient, honest and very attentive to what we were interested in seeing, and he helped us experience many memorable wildlife moments. We also felt very comfortable with him personally, which matters a great deal when spending so many hours together on game drives. If we travel with Beacon again on an itinerary where they provide the guide, we would absolutely be happy to request Alex again.

The accommodation choices were also excellent. Neptune Mara Rianta and Saruni Mara offered two very different safari experiences, and both were memorable in their own way. Later, our stay in Diani was another wonderful part of the trip. The transitions between different parts of the itinerary were handled smoothly, and we always knew what was happening next.

We were also impressed by how Beacon handled changes along the way. Our final domestic flight time was changed, and we were informed promptly so the rest of the arrangements could be adjusted accordingly. These details may sound small, but on a multi-stop trip they make a huge difference.

What impressed us most in the end was Beacon's reliability. Pre-trip communication could occasionally have been a little smoother, but once we were in Kenya, the actual execution of the trip was excellent. Everything connected, we felt well looked after, and at no point did we feel we had to solve logistical problems ourselves.

For us, that is one of the most valuable things a safari operator can provide: not just a good itinerary on paper, but the confidence that the whole journey will actually work when you are there.

We came away feeling that Beacon Safaris is a company we can trust, and we would be very happy to travel with them again.
