An unforgettable all-day adventure with Mthabisi and Savannah Adventures!
Savannah Adventures and our guide, Mthabisi, completely outdid themselves! We packed four incredible adventures into one day, starting with a sunrise game drive in Zambezi NP complete with coffee, muffins, wild dogs, and elephants. We also visited the giant baobab tree and watched the fascinating vulture feeding.
The absolute highlight was a breathtaking encounter with a lioness in southern Zambezi NP - we had almost given up hope, but Mthabisi's tracking perseverance rewarded us beautifully. We ended the night stargazing, listening to Mthabisi share African folklore and astronomy. He is a font of knowledge on everything from animal behavior to traditional plant medicine. We learned so much and will never forget this magical day!
Communication with Savannah Adventures was a breeze - email, Whatsapp - and the payment was easy. Deposit via secure online portal, then the balance due in US dollars upon arrival in Victoria Falls. Their office is conveniently located in N1 Hotel which is a decent (budget) place to stay.

★★★★★ **Unforgettable 7-Day Safari with an Amazing Guide, Moses**
We had an absolutely incredible 7-day safari experience with this team, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania. From the very beginning to the end, everything was well organized, and we always felt comfortable, safe, and well taken care of.
Our guide, Moses, was amazing. He was friendly, professional, patient, and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the parks. He knew exactly where to go and was always looking for the best opportunities for us to see animals. His knowledge of the animals, their behavior, and the different areas of the parks made the experience even more special. He also made sure to answer all our questions and was happy to share interesting information throughout the safari.
Over the 7 days, we visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park including the Central Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Every destination offered something different, and we enjoyed every part of the journey. Tarangire was beautiful, especially seeing the large elephants and the impressive baobab trees. Serengeti was absolutely breathtaking, with endless landscapes and incredible wildlife. The Central Serengeti gave us some unforgettable sightings, including lions and other predators. Visiting the Ngorongoro Crater was also a fantastic experience, with so many animals in one spectacular natural setting.
One of the things we appreciated most was how much effort Moses put into making sure we had the best possible wildlife experience. He was always communicating with other guides and carefully observing the surroundings to find interesting sightings. We were incredibly lucky to see so many animals, including the Big Five, and we had several moments that we will remember for a very long time.
We are very happy with the experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. If you are lucky enough to have Moses as your guide, you will definitely be in good hands. Thank you for an unforgettable 7 days,we will leave Tanzania with wonderful memories and hope to come back again!

We had an awesome day and everything went Well. Yona was very helpful with our inquiries during the booking process and our tour guides We’re just the best! They shared so many interesting facts and we got to see lions, elephants, hippos and so much more. Would definitely do it again!

Our expert and delightful guide Raffy ensured we saw as many glorious animals and birds as possible, including the big 5 and well beyond. But just as important, he was prompt and friendly and paid meticulous attention to all the logistical details of our trip. All transportation, lodging, meals, park entrance fees, etc. happened seamlessly! The lodging Mawe selected for us was terrific. He was able to customize our trip to fit our budget while still ensuring only safe and lovely accommodations. We had a blend of luxury lodges and amazing tent camps (highly recommend Karibu Woodlands Camp). We would recommend Mawe to anyone considering a safari trip to Tanzania! Our entire experience was 5 stars!!
We visited 5 different areas of Tanzania, spanning both mass migration routes. Thanks to Raffy's expertise and patience, we saw two massive wildebeest river crossings (and crocodile) at the Mara river in one day! We saw all the big cats (including a baby and mama cheetah). We saw white rhinoceros and hippopotamus in Ngorongoro crater. We saw hyena, jackals, and bat-eared foxes, mongoose, all the antelopes, and many gorgeous giraffe and zebra everywhere. We saw the colorful Agama lizards, monitor lizards and a Puff Adder! The birds of Tanzania are spectacular (and big!). Raffy was an ornithology expert, in addition to all his other skills. We saw 9 different species of eagles, plus owls, ostrich, flamingos, pelicans, Secretary bird, Saddle-billed stork, Kori Bustard, Marabou stork, Goliath heron, African spoonbill, Gray Crowned crane, a variety of vultures and raptors, and many more! In addition to the wildlife, we were thrilled to see several different areas of Tanzania terrain and geography, and we had a bit of cultural exposure which we would plan more of next trip!

Took the stress out of planning
Godfrey was a wonderful driver and very helpful every step of the way. He made sure I had what I needed and knew what was happening at every stage. The actual trek was wonderful, the guide was funny and informative. The experience was surreal and I was impressed with how many gorillas we were able to see and how much time we spent with them.
The actual process of booking the trek was at first nerve wracking, but Emile made the process feel safe and secure with quick responses and follow ups as the date got closer. The value of the experience I received was exceptional and I’m glad I booked with Lion Safaris.
