Went well above expectations
Suricata Safaris went well above my expectations. My trip became complicated when my flight from Nairobi was cancelled and my baggage was delayed, but Caroline was incredibly helpful throughout. She assisted me with tracking my baggage and quickly reorganized the logistics of my safari around my delayed arrival. I really appreciated how responsive, flexible, and proactive she was. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled extremely well.
My guide and driver, Ecky, was also excellent. He knows so much about the parks, wildlife, and the places we visited, drives safely, and is very sociable and easy to spend long safari days with. He is very chill but clearly works hard to make sure you have a great experience.
I was genuinely very happy with Suricata from start to finish. I would absolutely book with them again, and next time I would specifically request Ecky as my guide. I’ll also be recommending them to friends traveling to Tanzania.

u know, the animals is not ez to see, but Albert show his professional, any kind of animals has been seen, the big five, ugly five, even two times seeing lions group eating and the two times Leopold, that is wonderful. Really recommend that to ask albert to guide.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience — I wish I could erase my memory and experience it all again.
This was genuinely one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life and a trip I would recommend to absolutely everyone. From start to finish, our safari in Kenya exceeded every expectation. The Masai Mara was simply breathtaking — the landscapes, the sheer number of animals and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature made every single game drive unforgettable. We were incredibly lucky to see the entire Big Five as well as the Ugly Five, and seeing these animals in their natural habitat, often just metres away, was something I will never forget. Every day brought something new and unexpected, from incredible wildlife encounters to beautiful sunrises and landscapes that genuinely looked like something out of a film. The walking tour on Crescent Island was another absolute highlight and offered such a unique experience of being able to walk among wildlife, while cycling through Hell’s Gate was equally unforgettable. Both experiences were so much fun, completely different from a traditional safari and absolutely worth doing.
However, what truly made this trip as special as it was was our incredible guide, Caleb. After spending five days together, I was genuinely sad when it was time to say goodbye. Caleb was not only an exceptionally knowledgeable and talented guide, but also one of the most personable, kind and thoughtful people we could have hoped to spend our trip with. With more than 10 years of experience, Caleb is truly a “jungle master” — other tour guides even relied on him for his expertise and knowledge. If you are planning a safari, make sure to ask for Caleb; having him as your guide will make the experience even more unforgettable. He constantly went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, happy and getting the absolute most out of every single day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and he was incredibly flexible, adjusting the tour to our needs and preferences rather than simply following a fixed itinerary. He shared so much with us — not just about the animals and Kenya, but also about his home, culture and way of life — which made the entire experience feel much more personal and authentic. He even let us try driving his Jeep, which was such a fun and memorable experience! By the end of the five days, Caleb felt much more like a friend than simply a tour guide. His warmth, humour, patience and genuine care made such a huge difference to our trip, and I honestly cannot imagine having had a better guide.
If you are considering doing a safari in Kenya, I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. It was adventurous, exciting, beautiful, emotional and genuinely once in a lifetime. I left Kenya with unforgettable memories, hundreds of photos and videos — and honestly wishing I could erase my memory just so I could experience the entire trip for the first time all over again. Thank you, Caleb, for making this trip so incredibly special!

Excellent trip from start to finish
From the beginning of the enquiry process I felt so at ease that Khindo knew what they were doing. I booked directly with Pilly who was so helpful and really helped schedule a trip that suited our group. The travel plans were well organised and instructions were so clear so we never felt stressed.
We at Frapg camp which was excellent also with great facilities, food and staff!
The visit planned to the Massai village was so interesting we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the family, learning about their culture and way of life.
Then we had the best safari day with Nuhu! We honestly wouldn’t have spotted half of the animals in the park without his knowledge and skill. He has so much knowledge about each animal and his understanding of animal behaviour really helped us locate the animals we wanted to see. He is so friendly and accommodating it made the whole trip even more enjoyable. We managed to see lions, giraffes, hippos, zebras, several different monkeys, vultures, various birds, buffalo, antelopes, wilder-beasts and elephants. Everything was so well planned and the food on the trip was also delicious.
We had children with us and even they were engaged and enjoying the whole day together.
From start to finish this has been the best trip and I cannot thank everyone in the Khindo safaris team enough for making the trip special for us.

A excellent trip
This was a wonderful safari experience with Jungleroam Safaris. They were quick to reply to all our messages and took good care of every arrangement. Our guide Albert was very experienced, knew where to spot wildlife and shared lots of interesting facts. The whole tour ran on schedule without any trouble. Mimi was an amazing, knowledgeable, and caring guide who made our safari unforgettable.
We went on safari at the end of August, and it was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Everything was planned and organised incredibly well, and the staff were so welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The hospitality was exceptional, and there was a fantastic variety of delicious food served throughout our trip.
A special mention has to go to our amazing tour guide, **Mimi Kelvin**, who truly made our safari experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, Mimi was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and patient. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and you could really see how much he cared about making sure we had the best possible experience.
Mimi went above and beyond to make the most of every moment of our safari. He was always attentive to what we wanted to see and made sure we had the best opportunities to see the wildlife. He was also very patient and never made us feel rushed, taking the time to explain everything to us and answer all of our questions.
What really stood out was how dedicated he was throughout the entire experience. He made sure we were comfortable, looked after us so well, and genuinely wanted us to enjoy every part of the trip. His knowledge, kindness, humour, and professionalism made such a difference. We learned so much from him, and he made the experience feel personal rather than just like a standard tour.
Honestly, without Mimi, our safari would not have been anywhere near as special. He played such an important part in creating memories that we will remember for a very long time. We are incredibly grateful for all his hard work, patience, and effort in making our trip so enjoyable.

Brilliant experience, with excellent service
The experience with Suricata was brilliant, a well planned mid-range Safari with beautiful lodges. The communication was good and they were helpful and responsive. The jeep was comfortable, with power to charge phones or cameras and a cooler too. Food provided every day, which was delicious.
The Safari itself was amazing, especially our guide, Ecky. He put our group first, making sure he knew what we wanted to see and going out of his way to make sure the trip worked for everyone. He was super fun and positive throughout, as well as teaching us a lot about the animals, Tanzania and the Maasai too. His experience meant that we saw so many animals, from Tarangire to Serengeti and then Ngorongoro. Thank you so much for a brilliant 4 days!! High Five for Big Five 😁 Asante Sana.
