Amazing
5/5

It was a really good experience. We did a 4-day safari (Tarangire–Serengeti–Ngorongoro) with 4 people we didn’t know before, and it turned out to be a really good group.

Damian was our guide. He is a friendly and very patient person. During the game drives, we stopped many times to use the toilet, which was really convenient.

Every day, we had lunch in a sort of picnic area. The food was always fresh and tasty. We were provided with three main dishes: rice or pasta, beef/chicken/lamb, and different vegetables.

The best accommodation of our tour was Suricata Boma Lodge. It felt like paradise! There was a swimming pool, a gym, and many other comforts. The bush camp was also a unique experience, surrounded by nature.

The worst accommodation was Safari Rooms, where we stayed on the first and last nights. The rooms were really small, they provided only one towel per person, and the common areas were quite basic. However, the chef was very nice.

Overall, the experience was unforgettable! We highly recommend doing a safari like this at least once in your life.

How luck is it today
5/5

There is really big rain in the morning, it’s really lucky that we still see so many animals: lions, cheetahs, elephants…Our guide Tman gives us very detailed information about each animal we see in the park.
Happy day.

The Safari was a great experience and definitely worth the money. They pick me up on time at the hotel. They stopped halfway so we could get snacks and use the bathroom and then lead an amazing Safari. Make sure you ask for Martin as he was a great Guide.

Amazing experience. It was a dream.
5/5

It was an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five. We visited Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. All three places were completely different, and each one was absolutely worth visiting.

It was simply amazing to be so close to wild animals. It was truly breathtaking. Our guide, Alex, was wonderful with us. He taught us so much, and his sincerity and generosity really won us over.

We also had the chance to meet some wonderful fellow travelers, which made the experience even more special.

Fantastic safari of 15 days with Amakula
5/5

I cannot say enough about how absolutely beautiful Uganda is and how grateful we are to Amakula African Safaris for making our trip here so amazing. Do not hesitate to book with Amakula! My sister and I did the 15 day 14night trip that includes Chimp and Gorilla trekking. I got a lot of quotes from other tour groups and Amakula by far came in as the most reasonable price. Our driver/guide Boaz was beyond amazing, I cannot say enough about how great he made our trip. He was so genuinly nice and shared so much about Uganda. He took such good care of us the whole trip and even helped us get placed in an easy hike for the gorillas because of some health problems. He was a great driver, I was very confident in his skills and was never uncomfortable even on some scary small crazy roads at night! I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world and I can say Goodwin has been the best driver/guide I have ever had, Amakula African Safaris is lucky to have him. We all got a little sad to say goodbye after our 15 days together. All the hotels were great, we were actually upgraded to a nicer hotel for our first one without even knowing until we got there! The one thing to keep in mind though when booking is that this exact trip is a LOT of driving because you are covering a lot in just a few days. Make sure to pay attention to the drive times your driver gives you not what is on your itinerary. Our itinerary said 5-6 hours each day but the actual drive times were 6 hours and there wasnt any additional traffic or anything, that was the normal drive time. After speaking to some other travelors from other tour groups, listing shorter drive times seems to be the norm for Uganda. The drives are beautiful and scenic and you get to go through a lot of small villages and the van is uper comfortable, so its totally worth it but just be preapred you are barely at the hotels. If you have the time and money to add an extra day I would add a day between the chimps and the gorillas so you are not starting an 8 hr drive after finishing the chimps that way you are not arriving at the beuatiful Gorilla hotels at 8-9 pm. This way you get to spend some time at the nice hotels and enjoy their views!
