This Safari was so well thought out and planned. The tour director was visibly on site and available to address any questions. His staff also available and accommodated all questions and concerns, they demonstrated flexibility, and was knowledgeable in all areas of the location, history and geography.

Blue Crane did an excellent job of planning our trips to Namibia and the Okavango Delta.
5/5

I learned about Blue Crane from a facebook safari group-- they were recommended repeatedly by multiple people so I thought I would consider using them to plan our trip. I approached several companies to get itineraries and prices. Blue Crane stood out in both the itinerary they proposed, their presentation and their price so I chose them to organize my trip.

Throughout our work with Blue Crane to design a custom trip, they communicated promptly and thoroughly and actually listened to my interests and fit our trip precisely to what we wanted. From the minute we arrived in Namibia, we were well taken care of. Our private guide/ driver through 1600 miles of driving in Namibia, was named Me-Gusto. He is truly one of the best guides we've ever had and we've traveled a lot. He has a deep knowledge about history, culture, animal behavior and geology. He was also attentive to the little things that make a trip easy and fun. We were in a brand new, comfortable safari vehicle that Me-Gusto kept very clean for us.

For our trip to the Okavango Delta, Blue Crane set us up in a series of lodges that managed our activities and game drives and we took short flights between each location. Each lodge was entirely different and we loved them all.

There were so many highlights in Namibia, it's impossible to name them all-- but some of of favorites were hiking Big Daddy Dune in Sossusvlei, kayaking with seals in Walvis Bay, 4 wheel driving in the sand dunes high above the Atlantic Ocean near Swakopmund, seeing the dramatic landscapes and desert-adapted elephants in Damaraland, seeing black rhino and other wildlife in Ongava Game Reserve, watching giraffe at sunset during dinner at Onguma Nature Reserve, and having an amazing night game drive in Okonjima Nature Reserve (including a sighting of an aardvark and porcupines).

In the Okavango Delta, there were many highlights as well-- seeing the the zebra migration along the Boteti River. Doing a mokoro trip & a helicopter tour in Eagle Island Lodge, as well as doing spectacular speed boats tours of the river channels and pontoon boat sundowners and watching elephants cross the river from our gorgeous deck. Our final lodge in the Okavango Delta was in the Moremi Game Reserve where we had some of the best wildlife sightings we have ever had on any of our Africa trips (we've been to a lot of countries and done a lot of safaris in Africa over the years.)

I cannot recommend Blue Crane Safaris enough-- they are the best! They were meticulous in planning, thoroughly knowledgeable about the places they sent us to and were super easy to work with.

Excellent expedition
5/5

It was a week-long expedition where we felt quite confident in the professional driver Charity, who fulfilled her role driving the 4x4 vehicle and providing valuable and enlightening information at all the attractions. Incidentally, she drives very well, with great safety and caution, attentive to the many animals we encountered roaming freely along the roads, as well as to other vehicles and road conditions. Her knowledge of the animals sighted, the attractions visited, and the customs of this welcoming African people should also be highlighted. The company fulfilled its promises with great professionalism and adherence to the established contractual rules. Only one negative point should be noted: the vehicle's air conditioning, which was sometimes insufficient along the road under the scorching sun, but it didn't spoil the trip.

Excellent
5/5

David Njoroge was a great tour guide. His knowledge of the Kenyan Culture, Geography, all the places we visited - Maasai, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha was top class. Having been an ex veterinarian, he had good knowledge of the animals with the Game Reserves as well. Highly recommend Unscripted Yours and David Njoroge.

It was effortless, easy communication, fair prices and super inspiring and educational.
5/5

Everything about this experience was 10/10. From the planning and accommodating our specific needs and budget, to following up and to execution - everything was smooth and a huge pleasure. Our tour guide January, ensured that we were comfortable the entire time, had so much knowledge abut nature, the animals and the culture that we were afraid of tiring him out with our questions. But he was super engaged from start to end. The experience of moving between the parks; watching the animals while being told stories about them was unlike anything we tried. January was patient and had a good sense of predicting our surroundings, making it special to be able to see things we didn’t imagine we would see. Finally, our tour guide was also super accommodating and was super willing to adjust the trip as we went on; depending on our energy levels. Can really recommend this operator; and it meant a great deal to us to choose a local one.

Meet expectations
4/5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆

We had a great 4-day safari experience and really enjoyed the trip overall. Our guide was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure we had the best opportunities to see wildlife.

The only areas for improvement would be the food, as the portions seemed to get smaller each day. On the last day, everyone received just one chicken drumstick, and some people barely had any meat at all. We also would have appreciated being asked before making stops at two souvenir markets on the way to the airport, as we were not informed about these detours in advance.

Overall, it was a fantastic safari and we would definitely recommend it, especially because of the great guide and the amazing wildlife experience.

Amazing 6-Day Solo Safari Adventure with Top-Notch Service
5/5

I joined a 6-day, 5-night solo group safari with Grey Impala Safaris, and it exceeded all expectations. Over six days, I explored Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli, witnessing the Big Five and other incredible wildlife. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-organized — in Masai Mara and Amboseli I stayed in a mix of double and family rooms, which felt both convenient and cozy for a solo traveler.
The value for money was outstanding considering the quality of the lodges, game drives, and overall itinerary. Communication with Morris was fantastic — he was highly responsive, friendly, and helped resolve any questions or concerns promptly, making the entire experience stress-free.
The tour was smoothly executed, reliable, and perfectly balanced between structured game drives and free moments to enjoy the wildlife at my own pace. For any solo traveler looking for an adventurous, safe, and well-organized safari, I would highly recommend Grey Impala Safaris.
