My colleague (20 years old) and I (25 years old) booked our trip to Madagascar through "Soul of Madagascar". Our guide Mickael and our driver Ambinintsoa met us at the airport on time and very warmly. They also helped us with our luggage straight away. The tour was perfectly planned from start to finish and ran smoothly. Ambinintsoa was the best driver you could wish for in Madagascar, and our tour guide Mickael was also excellent. He always fulfilled our wishes and even helped me when I fell ill on the tour. I don't take that for granted at all. Mickael's knowledge and language skills are also excellent. He is a very great person. We had a lot of fun together and I'm sad that the trip ended so quickly. Definitely my top destination! I can only recommend Soul of Madagascar!

Great communication, flexible to accommodate our travel plan, super awesome tour guide/driver.
I reached out to several safari companies and ultimately chose Balu Travel - it was a fantastic decision. Morris, the owner, was extremely responsive and communicated clearly throughout the planning process. I requested several hotel options, and he provided the best fit for my preferences. I also asked for a few minor changes to the itinerary, and he accommodated them without any issue.
Our guide and driver for the entire safari was Kesaine, a member of the Maasai tribe - and he was amazing. He shared so much knowledge about Maasai culture, the local tribes, and the wildlife. Kesaine was not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make our experience special. On our very first day in the Maasai Mara, we saw four of the Big Five!
Kesaine took us to remote spots that I doubt many other guides even know about - his deep familiarity with the land, as a Maasai, truly elevated our experience. For our picnic lunch, he brought us to a beautiful, secluded location that felt incredibly special.
I also highly recommend choosing a Land Cruiser over a minivan. There were several moments where we had to cross large puddles or streams, and I don’t think a minivan would have made it through.
Overall, I highly recommend Balu Travel - and if possible, request Kesaine as your guide. You won’t regret it!

Outstanding and amazing experience !!!!
We did a 4 days / 3 nights safari trip with Letsand his team. An outstanding and unforgetableexperience! The camp with the very cpmfortable tents with beds, matresses, duvets, blankets … plus a hot water-bottle every night … outstanding food prepared on abone fire from fresh ingredients for each meal … and of course the morning and afternoon safaris every day under the expert leadership in very clear English by Lets and Julius made these days just a series of unforgetable moments. A dream becoming true and excellent value for money.
We were a mixed group of very experienced safari travellers and beginners … and everyone enjoyed it very very very much!

Kikitu was fantastic
Kikitu not only gave the history and details of the safari but very joyfully took us to each and every corner of the savanna. We could see n take pics n videos comfortably. He made every effort to be connected with the safari radio n reach us to the location of the wild beast. Memorable Masai Mara safari.

Once in a lifetime adventure
We had a 5 days blast. The safari was outstanding, nature did show us its beauty. Thank god we had Godlizen to show us highlight after highlight. We made memories for a lifetime. Now its a big task to sort the foto’s.
