The Experience of a Lifetime
My brother and I begin researching Kenya & Tanzania safari options a few months ago and stumbled on Bavuma WildQuest’s website. Less than an hour after submitting an inquiry, Joshua Bavuma himself messaged me on WhatsApp, and emailed me a well-detailed itinerary and quote document. He was very kind and attentive to special requests such as adding in a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti.
Joshua provided prior reviews, pictures and even WhatsApp numbers for previous customers, which impressed us and immediately made us trust in him and his business. He allowed us to easily hold our Safari dates with a small deposit paid online, and kept in regular contact with us to answer any questions we may have had the months leading up to our arrival in Kenya.
We arrived and were immediately picked up by our first tour guide Ian. Ian was a friendly and incredibly knowledgeable young man who we absolutely loved as a Safari guide. He had incredible vision and quickly pointed out hidden animals in the bush like gazelles, cheetahs and zebras plus more our first day in Amboseli NP. The second day was just as incredible, we saw baby elephants and a Masai Giraffe up close in Masai Mara reserve. Our highlight on the Kenya side was seeing a whole pride of lions with 2 lion cubs. Finally, Ian was kind enough to drive us to the border with Tanzania, help us meet the Tanzanian Bavuma guide and clear immigration and customs before continuing on with our safari in Tanzania. Ian was a world-class guide, and having visited over 20 countries, Ian was the best tour guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Dennis was our guide on the Tanzanian side, and was equally as friendly and knowledgeable. He picked us up after we crossed the border and did a short game drive in the Northern Serengeti. We were incredibly lucky to witness the wildebeest migration across the river, see a leopard mama and her cub in a tree, and end the day with a spectacular sighting of two lions which were brothers. Finally, Dennis showed us flamingos, rhinos and more at the incredible Ngorongoro Crater, before dropping us off in Arusha, introducing us to Mr. Bavuma himself, and saying our goodbyes before departure.
The safaris, service, even the camps we stayed in while at Masai, Serengeti NP and more were all wonderful. Bavuma also offered us wonderful add-ons like the famous hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, a tour of Mt. Kilimanjaro and many opportunities to learn more about the tribal culture of the local tribes like the Masai people.
This was a truly 5-star experience and one of the best adventures I’ve ever been on throughout the travels of my life. I would highly recommend booking a safari with Bavuma WildQuest - ask for Ian and Dennis if possible.

The time of our lives, in the safest pair of hands!
Everything from the beginning was quick, clear and detailed, leaving no question unanswered. Naomi (organiser) understood what we were looking for from the beginning and had patience with us.
The accommodation and activities we were extremely happy with, especially as first time safari goers.
Pius (our guide) - the sweetest, nicest, knowledgable animal spotter, everything you would want in a guide. He consistently made sure we were happy, that everything at the accommodation was good. Everyone should ask for him!

He was also very flexible and gave us multiple plans depending on budget, making sure that we are happy with everything including the price.

An unforgettable honeymoon safari with an exceptional guide Enock Hubert
This safari was absolutely magnificent and the perfect experience for our honeymoon. From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organized, including the airport pick-up, which was punctual and seamless.
But the real highlight of our trip was our guide, Enoch Hubert. There are simply not enough words to describe his kindness, professionalism, knowledge and dedication. From the very first day, Hubert showed enormous respect for nature, the animals and, most importantly, our wishes and expectations.
On our first day in Tarangire National Park, he did everything possible to help us spot zebras, giraffes and elephants, and we were even lucky enough to see lionesses just a few meters away from us. It was an incredible start to our safari.
We then visited the Ngorongoro Crater, where Hubert took us to an incredible sighting of a group of five black rhinos. We also saw buffaloes, wildebeest and so many other species that Tanzania has to offer.
The following days were spent exploring the Central Serengeti, and the experiences were simply unforgettable. We saw leopards, cheetahs with their tiny cubs, giraffes fighting for the attention of a female, and even around 20 lions feeding on their prey. Every day brought something completely different and extraordinary.
What made the experience even more special was Hubert’s ability to understand what we wanted and patiently look for the best possible sightings without ever losing his respect for the animals and their environment.
Everything was incredible, unique and far beyond what we could have imagined for our honeymoon. We truly could not have chosen a better guide than Enoch Hubert for this adventure.

They exceeded my expectations all day, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, we found exactly what we were looking for on the day, I would 100% recommend the operator and the lads today, class!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our safari, and we were truly impressed by the whole experience. Everything was beyond our expectations.
Especially, our stay in Serengeti was incredible. The place where we stayed was absolutely amazing, and the people who hosted us were incredibly kind, welcoming and wonderful. They made our experience even more special and memorable.
We were also very happy with our safari guide, Mikail. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and such a great conversationalist. We really enjoyed spending time with him and appreciated his warm and cheerful personality throughout the safari.
We are already dreaming about coming back to Tanzania with a group of our friends in the near future. If we have the opportunity to return, we would definitely be happy to choose you and your team again.

Jackson - you are a star
We had an amazing safari experience with Jackson as our guide. From the very beginning, he was punctual, professional, and attentive to everything we needed. He made sure our pickup and drop-off at the accommodation went smoothly and always checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience.
Jackson is an excellent driver and made it possible for us to get great views of the animals while also making sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the safari. He is very knowledgeable about the wildlife, as well as Kenyan culture, and explained everything clearly whenever we had questions.
He isn’t someone who talks just for the sake of talking, which we actually appreciated. Instead, he gave us interesting and informative explanations at the right moments and made sure we understood what we were seeing.
Overall, we really enjoyed our safari with Jackson and felt well taken care of throughout the entire trip. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and reliable safari guide.
This is budget safety, so do not expect a great Jeep, or luxury accommodation, but this is nothing Jackson can control, everything he could control - was well controlled.

Great safari experience with an amazing guide
We had a great safari experience with Mafie Adventures and would definitely recommend them.
A special thanks goes to our driver and guide Amiry. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed spending the six days with him. He always made sure we had the best possible safari experience and we saw so many animals and beautiful places along the way.
The value for money was really excellent. We booked a join-group safari, but for three of the days there were only three guests in our car, so it almost felt like having a private safari. The accommodations were also much better than we expected for the price. We especially loved Heart & Soul and Safari Heaven, with beautiful and very clean rooms and good food.
Communication with Mafie Adventures before and during the trip was good and everything was well organized.
There were just a few things that could be improved. Ngorongoro Wild Camp was more basic and our room could have been cleaner. We also had some changes to the original itinerary, which resulted in longer driving times than expected. As another guest from our group stayed at different lodges, this added some additional driving as well.
But these were small points compared to the overall experience. We had a wonderful time, saw an incredible amount of wildlife and, considering the price we paid, the whole safari offered amazing value for money.

Sethunya made the entire Botswana trip easy and unforgettable
Sethunya was excellent from the beginning. She stayed on top of the itinerary, answered every question quickly, and made the entire Botswana trip feel organized without ever feeling overmanaged. What stood out most was how personal it felt. She was there to greet me at the airport when I arrived and again when I left, and we even sat down for coffee and a genuinely lovely conversation. She did not make me feel like just another client; it felt like she actually cared about me and the experience I was having. It was an incredible trip, and nearly a year later I am still thinking about it. I have already recommended Sethunya to friends, which is probably the best review I can give. I would absolutely use Outer Limits Travel & Tours again, hopefully sooner than later.
