Amazing adventure!
This was my first safari and it was an unforgettable adventure!
Me and my friend booked the 5 day safari to Mikumi and Nyerere national parks.
Perfection was obvious from the first minutes when our driver and guide Kapande, was spot on to the appointment place and time. Although the roads in Tanzania are chaotic, he was always careful and consistent with his driving and got us safely to our first lodge. During our game drives to both parks, he was always eager to share his knowledge about the animals we encountered and made every possible effort so that we can see up close as many animals as possible! Aside from that, he was also very friendly and with many many safari stories to share and excite our interest for the next time! I wholeheartedly recommend him as a guide. He made our first safari unforgettable.
Regarding the company now, they were very precise from the get go. The email communication with them was easy. The offer and relevant documents provided were accurate. The payment process seamless. Everything unfolded exactly as it was described in the initial offer.

Very good
Our 5 days tour was great, a lot of it due to our guide, Kapande. From the moment he picked us up from our Airbnb to the day he dropped us off, he gave us all needed explanations, he arranged all details for our stay. As for his safari guiding it was excellent, he gave us informations and shared his knowledge on the animals we spotted, he knew where to go in both parks we visited and offered us an amazing experience and adventure for our first safari! I would recommend Kapande as a guide because he has a great experience and he puts it in good use with the people he is guiding.

Amazing safari experience with Kapande, exactly what we were looking for!
We had an amazing 8-day safari with Kapande, traveling to three parks (Ruaha, Mikumi, & Nyerere). Communication with Kapande and Uwanda Tours was very easy and clear; we were picked up from our hotel in Iringa to start the safari. The accommodations throughout the week were all very nice, and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Kapande was the perfect safari guide; he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and parks, and he communicated with other guides to make sure we saw plenty of animals.
Overall, it was a 10/10 week! Thank you Uwanda Tours and Kapande!

Amazing experience
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience in Uganda! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised, especially considering we were a group of around 20 people.
A special mention has to go to our guide and driver, Tom. He was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, professional and, above all, so much fun to be around! He made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He always made sure we were in the right place at the right time and went the extra mile to make sure everyone had an unforgettable experience.
We were lucky enough to see so many incredible animals, including elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and many more.
I would absolutely recommend this safari, and especially Tom, to anyone visiting Uganda. It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will never forget! 🐘🦁🦒

A guide who went the extra mile
We spent three days on safari in the Masai Mara with Kush, and I’ll remember the wildlife for the rest of my life. But the moment that says the most about him happened after the safari was over.
On our way back, I mentioned that my mother in the Netherlands had been hoping I could bring her miswak sticks from Africa. After a six-hour drive, with Nairobi traffic building and the day getting late, Kush took us into the city to look for them. When we couldn’t find any, he parked and walked with me to a small market. We found the sticks there, and the lovely people at the stall even gave them to us for free. Kush also bought us goji and baobab berries to try as a gift.
That kindness was so characteristic of him. We didn’t always understand each other immediately, but I never had to ask twice to feel how much he cared. Throughout the safari, he was calm, thoughtful and attentive, and he made the whole experience feel personal. The animals were unforgettable, but so was Kush. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Five stars for Kush and JungleRoam!
