We had a fantastic time on the tour
We had a fantastic time on the tour and came away with some unforgettable memories. A big part of what made the experience so special was our guide, David Mnyama. His knowledge of the reserves was impressive, and he seemed to know exactly where to go and where to look.
We were able to see everything we had hoped for and got some amazing photos, including some incredible close-up sightings. It was clear that David’s experience and knowledge made a real difference throughout the trip.

Months before our trip, I reached out to a few well reviewed companies from this website. I heard from Beth at Shanjoy Tours right away and she was 100% invested in our satisfaction from the start. I had next to no idea what we should do, where we should stay, our transportation options, etc. She helped untangle all my ideas and weave a perfect itinerary to maximize our time in Kenya. She recommended some amazing lodges and activities. They booked and coordinated everything behind the scenes. I was promptly sent tickets and confirmations, and it was so easy to pay online. I was never worried we might be stranded, we were always alerted about our transportation, driver and pickup times ahead of time. I always had several people’s contact information and felt welcome to call/text them at any hour if we had any concerns or hiccups. They really prioritize their guest’s wellbeing, enjoyment and safety. They wanted to hear about our reviews of each of our hotels and activities, they appreciated honest feedback and took any concerns seriously. They especially prioritized safety! While on safari in Masai Mara, our guide Dereck was so knowledgeable, flexible and safe. He cleaned to car inside and out every day, performed needed maintenance, respected the park road rules and drove carefully. He not only knew everything about the animals but he really respected them! While other tours were getting way to close to some of the animals, he honored their space, boundaries, their safety and our safety. He was always attentive to when we might need a break, water, how to get the best photos etc, and he always had a plan ready for our next adventure. He plotted out the animal’s locations ahead of time so we were maximizing our days. We saw every animal possible, most more than once. We were so blessed with a smooth and fulfilling experience, thanks to Shanjoy. A once in a lifetime experience but I would trust them with a million more trips like this. Truly the best compared to other companies I talked to or that I have booked with in other countries. He was really great , welcoming and warm
he got a great knowledge about the animals,
he made our experience very spectacular and unique!

Also, we managed to see 4 from the big 5 , Felix has an eyes of an eagle he just spotted a lion king from kms away and we where the first to get there,
also spotted a Zebra giving birth, also black rhinos , elephants buffalos.

He made the tour super simple and managed everything smoothly from start to end. One of the kindest people I’ve come across and super mindful of the environment and the rules of the park.
If you want someone with experience, patience and deep knowledge about the park Raheem is your guy. I went for 3 game drives with him. And he ensured everyday was an experience of a lifetime. We spotted a lion, lioness, cheetah and leopard on the same day. It was superb.

Professional, very well organised
This was my very first safari AND my first time ever camping, and I couldn't have asked for a better adventure! Spending two days and one night in Chobe National Park was nothing short of extraordinary.
A massive thank you to our guide, Shaaur, who made this trip truly special. His knowledge, passion for wildlife, and keen eye allowed us to see so much while feeling completely safe and comfortable the entire time. He made every game drive engaging and insightful.
Camping under the stars in the African bush was magic—falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of nature is something I will never forget.

The operator csn perfectly organise the tour you wish!
We liked the organisation of the 2-day safari tour very much, had a really nice experience, you have chance to see a lot of animals. There was also a great stay in a lodge for a night in the village with supper and breakfast uncluded. Especially I liked our guide in Nrongoro, such a funny and positive person 😃😊

Excellent guide, private car, and every animal we hoped for
Booked a safari with Splendid from Portugal and it has been great so far. Janet answered everything fast, before and during the trip, which made a big difference.
Ol Pejeta gave us the last two northern white rhinos on earth, Naivasha was full of hippos and fish eagles, and the Mara has been incredible. Leopard, three cheetahs, a whole pride of lions, hyenas, the lot.
Gabriel, our driver guide, is excellent at finding animals and knows exactly where to position the car. Private vehicle the whole way, so we stop whenever we want and stay as long as we want at every sighting, which matters a lot if you are into photography.
Highly recommend them.
