We had an amazing time during our safari with Apex Felidae Expeditions. Our expectations were far exceeded.
Our favorite stay was in the Masai Mara. The proximity to nature and the beautiful green park truly astonished us. Lake Nakuru and Naivasha were also stunning, with their incredible animal diversity, breathtaking landscapes, and luxurious hotels.
The food was always so tasty. The drive to Amboseli was quite long but adventurous at the same time, we saw many elephants gathered together in the swamps along with my personal highlight, -a python- made it absolutely worth it.
Overall, we could not be more thankful for Dickson -our guide-, who was our feet, ears, and eyes throughout the entire week. He is a very knowledgeable guide with a kind heart!

Excellent - Musa you’re the best!
Outstanding service and experience provided by Lion King Adventures.
Our 5-day safari surpassed all expectations for me and my husband on our honeymoon. Everything was seamless - all transfers, accommodation check ins, communication with Pendo when initially booking, were handled amazingly.
We were truly lucky to have had our guide Musa take us on the journey through Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. Musa shared all of his knowledge on the areas and wildlife and looked after us so well. He made us feel comfortable, safe and really made us laugh. Genuinely he made the trip unforgettable. Thanks to his experience as a guide, and unbelievable knowledge of the roads and routes in the Serengeti, we got to see the big 5!
I will recommend Lion King adventures to absolutely anyone that is interested in doing a safari. Plus, if we ever are lucky enough to get to do this type of trip again, we will hands down be coming back to Lion King - and we will be requesting our now good friend Musa!

We had the pleasure of booking a private safari tour of Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru. Our guide, Edward (who our children affectionately, albeit mistakenly, called David), was truly exceptional. We were thoroughly impressed by the breathtaking views, his extensive knowledge, and his remarkable ability to spot animals. Thanks to Edward, we were fortunate enough to see a wide variety of wildlife. He consistently demonstrated a helpful and polite demeanor. He is a truly remarkable individual, and his presence made this trip an absolute pleasure and a resounding success. We will undoubtedly cherish these memories forever. Thank you.

Unique experience, private
Our safari experience was truly excellent and unique. The whole trip felt well organized and offered a genuine sense of adventure in the wild.
The guides were extremely knowledgeable and very kind throughout the journey. They shared a lot of interesting insights about the animals, the environment, and the local ecosystem, which made the experience even more engaging.
This safari provides an authentic wildlife experience that feels raw and immersive. If you have already been on a traditional game drive safari before, this one will feel like something new, refreshing, and absolutely fantastic.
However, if this is your very first safari, I would not necessarily recommend starting with this experience, as it may be quite different from what you expect and less ideal as an introduction.

A nice safari experience
The safari was a full day (6 hours including lunch). You will see a lot of animals, but it is far from certain that you will see more than one or two of the big five animals.
The service was good and we had a nice lunch inside the park. There were water toilets at the stops inside the park. The seats of the safari car were comfortable and there were not too many other cars there at the same time.
Maloko (or Moloko) was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to when she explained things about animals, birds, and the area.
For your information: We had to pay 500 rands extra as a Safari Park Fee. I don’t remember this being mentioned during the booking at Tripadvisor.
