Exceeded our expectations
After searching through many tour operators we chose Dav. Mainly because their communication during all the questions we asked was timely and informative. When we arrived in Kigali we were told Isaac would pick us up at 8.30. He was early which was great and he was absolutely the best. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We visited the Rwanda mountain gorillas and golden monkeys and had a great experience.

Amazing safari, guide and accommodations.
This was a wonderful experience. Our guide Emmanuel was truly second to none. He
was superb and spotting game and a lovely and knowledgeable person. The communication about what we would be doing was excellent. Value for money was superb. Everything about this safari ran like clockwork from the start of the day to the end of the day. The various camps were brilliant. Emmanuel went above and beyond. He really was a fountain of knowledge. I was very sad when it had ended.

I was so excited about this family trip and it didn’t disappoint…. It was the best trip of my life. Emanuel you were a joy to have as our guide. We saw the big five, the ugly five and countless other wonderful creatures in between! The scenery and animals were mesmerizing. You always had an answer for our questions , looked things up for us and also shared with Ellie (daughter)her passion for looking things up in our Wild Africa book. How you managed to track animals so brilliantly and drive the roads safely is very impressive! I loved the picnics you provided (best picnics of hearty cooked food laid out on a lovely tablecloth ) and the evening food and lodgings were great. The only think I wish is that it wasnt over. Thank you so much Emanuel for a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience .

Excellent communication, preparation and local knowledge provided by our tourguide.
Wild Uganda prepared our trip meticulously, communicated with us frequently and effectively and exceeded all of our expectations.
The accommodations were arranged according to our preferences and even though we understand the highlights of Uganda are oretty much already set out, we thought the entire safari was super diverse, interesting, and showcasing all the beautiful things Uganda has to offer.
Additionally, we had the pleasure of spending the entire time with our tourguide Brian. He excelled in knowledge and experience and was happy to answer all of our (many) questions abouy nature, culture, local habits, religion and many more. Moreover he is a pleasant, humble person to hang around with. He knew when to leave us at it, or when to join the conversation or meals. That takes good social skills.
He was fully committed to showing us as many animals as possible and we admired his sharp eye. Which led us to a close and totally unexpected encounter with some lions crossing a deserted path, and to a tree-climbing lion next to a path in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
He was never late, which for us as Dutchies is an important quality. He also knew exactly when we had to leave for a certain appointment and arrived everywhere in time. And perhaps even more important: he drove very safe and secure.
The accommodations were officially qualified ‘moderate’ as per our instructions, but all delivered very good value for money. Either because of their location, the food provided (all meals included) or the rooms itself.
We had one minor issue with an accommodation that provided only one power outlet in our room - which had to be ussed for the fan - and Brian immediately arranged an extension cable for us.
I am a very experienced traveller (female, 61) and I highly recommend Wild Uganda as Tour Operator. Make sure to ask for Brian as your local tour guide: you will thank me later!

We were happy with everything because it was exactly as advertised. The Axis team communicated with us by Whatsapp and text to confirm the exact pick up time from the hotel. Our driver/guide was great. Jack was kind and very knowledgable about everything we asked during our safari. Everyone was friendly and we got to see and do everything that was displayed on the details page. I recommend Axis 100%.
