I can’t give the overall experience less than 5 stars, mr. Timothy was able to made us see the 4 of the big 5 and 5 out of the ugly 5 within 8 hours ..
The remaining we saw in other location the other day, which made the trip so exciting, he know what you want and he will make it for you.

An Incredible Safari Experience!
What an incredible experience! MoAfrika was exceptionally attentive from the very beginning, sending several messages to confirm all the safari details and making sure everything was well organized.
Our driver, Sibu, was one of the highlights of the experience. He was friendly, kind, and respectful, and picked us up exactly at the scheduled time. Our safari guide, Pita, was also wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the entire tour.
We were lucky enough to spot nine different mammal species, including three of the Big Five, which made the experience even more memorable.
The lunch was delicious, with a buffet offering a wide variety of options to accommodate different dietary preferences, and drinks were included. Complimentary water was also provided throughout the safari, which was a thoughtful touch.
The entire experience exceeded all of our expectations and was worth every single minute. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a high-quality safari experience that is both convenient and close to Johannesburg

Had the best safari experience with Wild Portraits
Our safari with Wild Portraits was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was the incredible team behind it.
Right from the booking stage, Leo was there to help us every step of the way. He was always responsive, patient, and understanding. When our flight got postponed, he even suggested hotels for us to stay at and helped arrange transport, making what could have been a stressful situation completely hassle-free.
Our safari experience with Gerald exceeded all expectations. His passion for wildlife and Kenyan culture made every game drive an opportunity to learn something new. He is an exceptional spotter, and thanks to his sharp eye and quick thinking, we were lucky enough to see some truly elusive animal.
What stood out even more was how personalized the experience felt. Once Gerald learned about my husband’s interest in birds, he went out of his way to point out countless species, sharing fascinating facts and patiently answering every question we had. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to communicate made the experience so much richer.
The entire Wild Portraits team is incredibly skilled, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about ensuring you have the best possible safari. Every lodge we stayed at was beautifully chosen and perfectly suited to the journey, making the trip seamless and memorable from start to finish.

Amos is the BEST- with his knowledge of the animals, Kenya history and geography, and personality!!
We had the best time on our safari with Axis Africa!! we had a huge group of 27, all family, and Axis accommodated us all perfectly! We called our tour guides, the Big Five! Amos was our personal tour guide and driver. We all fell in love with them. He was SO knowledgeable about Kenya - its history and current political/economical/societal state, the geography, and all things about the animals there. We absolutely fell in love with Amos! His positive and fun personality was contagious, and we will miss being around him. Amos made all of our needs were met, answered all of our questions, and got to know each one of our names and things about us.
We visited the Masai Mara , Lake Navaisha, and Amboseli. We spent a lot of time driving, and Amos made it so enjoyable. Amos wasn’t just our tour guide - he became our good friend. (Long live our War Bus crew!)
We loved working with the other guides, and their positivity, camaraderie and kindness is something that we will also be taking away from our experience in Kenya.

The guide was professional, exceptional organization and knowledge delivered throughout this tour. I always felt safe and welcome! I would highly recommend to anyone to has doubts. What makes this even better is that the guide can custom make the tour according to your requirements and schedule.

Pieter is a good guide, he explained everything well and offered us ponchos when it was windy.
We got picked up right on time. We got offered water and there was WiFi on the bus.
Pieter was our guide. I had a great safari experience, he explained everything well. We took lots of photos. We were lucky, as we saw many animals. It was windy, so we were offered ponchos. We had lunch with a beautiful view , the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this safari!

Well organised and fun!
Axis were extremely communicative before and during the safari trip. Rita responded very quickly and was able to accommodate a last minute request to change the itinerary.
All transfers were well-organised and the accommodation was comfortable throughout our trip, particularly Enkorok camp.
For the tour itself we had two guides, Leonard really stood out to us as he was very knowledgable and able to find all the animals for us to see. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even drove us for 11 hours on a full day game drive in Masai Mara.
