Wonderful trip and very well planned
5/5

I had a wonderful time on the 7 Days Botswana Magic and Incredible Victoria Falls by Africa Uncovered Safaris. Everything was very well planned and I felt very well taken cared of.

My guide was Tafara, who was also my driver and repository of facts extraordinare! He could spot animals across vast distances (sharp eyed!), was such a wealth of knowledge and was great chatting with during the long drives about animals (and pretty much other stuff like history etc).

Tafara knew where to eat - the full board arrangement wasn’t confined to any place pre-booked but rather what I felt like eating and drinking and what is good in the particular location. Just alcohol is excluded but otherwise I could order what I felt like within reason.

Excursions (game drives, camping) were pre-booked and pre-paid as part of the package and where I had additional requests (the Zambezi river cruise and the Okavango Delta flight being added on) he was happy to make arrangements (which I then paid the operator for separately at list price).

Accommodations provided were quite comfortable and experiential although he mentioned that guests were also free to request for and top up for a higher category of accommodations.

No regrets! I had a fabulous time which tested some travel boundaries (but hey! I would do bush camping again). Thanks to Archie for making the arrangements and so promptly too!

Ethio Top Land Tour is definitely the superd choice for a indepth, comfortable tour of Ethiopia!
5/5

We (couple) just did a 8N8D tour of northern Alfar region and southern Omo Valley region, organised by Ethio Top Land Tour. We highly recommended this tour operator as the team, lead by the boss Lamesgn Melese, is very responsive, knowlegeable, and super attentive to our needs. This 30yrs old young owner, Lamesgn is super hands on before, during and even after the trip; responded to every enquiry prior to trip timely and professionally! At times, I have to ask if he sleeps at all . E.g. He responded to our requests for change of activities (the heat up north was almost unbearble at times) in surprising speed and accomodated us in the most suiting hotels, even in the remote regions! He is constantly in touch with his guide, Tamrat Atanfie who travelled with us thru out the whole 8 days! Tamrat (29 yrs old) is knowlegeable, very friendly and especially seasoned when dealing with local guides across several tribes. The company's contracted drivers for the north and south are equally skill and careful drivers. Thank you Lamesgn team for the wonderful memory!

Great service and flexible schedule
5/5

I booked both 6-day Kilimanjaro Machame route and 5-day Safari with the company and it turned out to be a great experience.

I acclimated well in Kilimanjaro and communicated with the guide Ami to descend one day in advance. They helped adjust the route and added one more day of city tour in Arusha without additional fee except for accommodation.

They assigned a guide Sam (for the city part) and it was one of my favourite parts in the full journey to explore the city, which proved to be a great balance between natural scenes and local culture.

The safari was more tiring than I expected to drive on the bumped road. However, the guide Ali was very experienced, like other guides, they all have over ten years of experience, so he could always spotted the animals in distance. He found a serval in Serengeti and it’s a rare experience.

Overall, the trip with Serengeti wildlife safari was a nice and correct choice.

Great to deal with
5/5

We had a great experience doing a 4 night/ 5 day Safari with Mellivora. Fransisca was very easy to deal with and communicated very well. She arranged the return flights from Zanzibar and airport transfers.

Our guide Joshua was also excellent and went above and beyond. The three lodge accommodations (in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and lake Manyaea) were very comfortable with Great views.

About: Tanzania
A wonderful country to visit
Overall rating
5/5

We visited Tanzania after requesting some quotations for our expected trip via Safari Bookings, which proved an extremely helpful platform. We selected the travelling option that best fitted our expectations after receiving 5 quotations and made an unforgettable experience by spending 5 Safari days and 4 beach days at Zanzibar., thanks to the efforts of Full Package Adventures and Yusuph, who organised our complex trip with great detail.
We really enjoyed the Safari days we spent with our guide, Gilbert, who was extremely knowledgeable in general terms, reliable and capable of showing us the best landscapes and wildlife views. Our time in Zanzibar, was also very interesting. We loved to learn about the story of Stone town and the island and really loved visiting the market full of wonderful spices, fish and fruit. We had time to rest close to the beach were we enjoyed excellent food and drinks on top of the wonderful views of the Indic Ocean and the beach.
Nonetheless, what we loved the most was the kind, professional and helpful nature of Tanzanian people in all placed we visited. They always had a smile in their faces and were really to help and have a kind chat with us. We also loved Tanzanian cuisine that we enjoyed in every single hotel we stood at, lunch packs included. Masai lamb, goat and the way food was seasoned in general, proved a pleasure for us.
In summary, we loved the people, the landscapes, the wildlife, the food and drinks (Tanzanian beer was also quite good!) and hope to go back for a visit in the near future, devoting again most of the time to Safaris which were one of the most striking experience of our lives.

A Dream Journey Across Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

This 5-day trip to Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. The team of Bavuma Wild Quest arranged the entire journey in such a way that every moment was a new story.
On the very first day at Masai Mara, we saw a group of lions hunting - right in front of our eyes! The guide Saimon was so experienced that he could understand from a distance where any animal was hidden.
On the third day, while watching the sunrise in the endless wilderness of Serengeti, it seemed as if the world was being born again here. Elephants, leopards, zebras - all seem to be part of a huge drama of nature.
On the last day, after descending to Ngorongoro Crater, I saw a huge rhino. Guide Rama said, if you have good luck, you can meet - and you really got it!
Accommodation, food and service were all excellent. I must say, Bavuma Wild Quest made this safari a dream come true.
