An Exceptional Kilimanjaro Experience with a highly professional, well-organized, and caring team
My partner and I chose the 7-day Machame Route with Kwesa Tours, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!
From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. Edward provided us with all the information we needed before our trip, answered our questions, and helped us prepare for the expedition.
We reached the summit of Kilimanjaro on October 12, 2026, with an amazing team supporting us every step of the way.
A very special thank you to Haji, our guide, for his professionalism, extensive knowledge of the mountain, and, above all, the care and attention he gave us throughout the entire expedition, especially on summit day. His constant support and guidance made us feel safe and well looked after during every stage of the climb.
The food was delicious throughout the trek, and drinking water was available at every camp. The level of organization was truly impressive, from the chef and his assistants to the porters. Every member of the team played an essential role in making the expedition run smoothly. A huge thank you to all of them for their hard work and dedication in helping us make this dream come true!
Each day was very well organized. We started early with an excellent breakfast, followed by the day’s trek and a hot lunch upon reaching the next camp, with some time to rest afterwards. In the afternoon, we enjoyed tea and popcorn before dinner. These little comforts are especially appreciated after several hours of hiking in the mountains!
After dinner, Haji conducted a daily health check to see how we were feeling, measure our oxygen saturation, and check our pulse. This regular monitoring, along with his advice and explanations, gave us great peace of mind and confidence as we ascended to higher altitudes. We then had a detailed briefing about the following day’s itinerary, so we always knew what to expect.
Thank you, Kwesa Tours, for helping us achieve one of our biggest dreams and for making the experience so special through your professionalism, dedication, and genuine care. We are taking home unforgettable memories and immense gratitude for the entire team.
We highly recommend them to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro. You will be in great hands!

An Unforgettable Uganda Safari Experience – Exceptional Service, Personal Attention
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with The Shuttle Hospitality during our six-day trip to Uganda, which included chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and several opportunities to discover Uganda’s culture and local communities. From the initial planning stages to our final airport transfer, everything was thoughtfully organized, and we felt incredibly well taken care of throughout the entire trip. We would wholeheartedly recommend The Shuttle Hospitality to anyone looking for a personalized, seamless, and memorable safari experience in Uganda.
Bob, the owner, was exceptional from beginning to end. He was always incredibly responsive, attentive, and willing to listen to our needs and preferences. Rather than simply offering us a standard package, he carefully crafted our itinerary around the type of experience we wanted. We really appreciated the time and effort he put into understanding what mattered to us and making sure the trip reflected that. His attention to detail was evident throughout the entire journey.
One particularly thoughtful touch was that Bob personally came to welcome us at the airport when we arrived in Uganda in the middle of the night! We also received a lovely surprise honeymoon cake, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture. These little details really show how much Bob cares about his guests and the experiences he creates for them.
The airport arrangements were also excellent. Bob organized an "airport meet-and-greet service", with a representative escorting us through immigration and passport control, and accompanying us until we met our driver. After a long international flight, having someone take care of everything made our arrival so much smoother and more relaxing. It was a great example of the thoughtfulness and organization that characterized the whole trip.
Francis, our driver and guide, was equally outstanding and deserves a special mention. He was knowledgeable, professional, attentive, considerate, and fun to travel with. He was always on top of everything and quickly understood the kind of experiences we were hoping to have. We felt completely comfortable with him and knew we could count on him throughout the journey. He went beyond simply driving us from one destination to another; he genuinely contributed to making the trip special.
Francis also had a wonderful eye for the little things that make a journey memorable. Thanks to him, we got to taste the famous Rolex (rolled eggs), Uganda’s beloved street-food wrap, which was such a fun and delicious experience! We also really appreciated how he took photos and videos of us along the way and shared them with us afterward. We love photography and enjoy documenting our travels to create videos and photo albums, so this thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. It was something we particularly appreciated and did not see other drivers doing with their customers. Having those additional memories to look back on was a lovely bonus.
Another example of Francis’s attentiveness was his effort to help us spot a chameleon, something we were really hoping to see. He took us to a women’s community initiative where two chameleons had been spotted, giving us the opportunity to see them while also discovering something much more meaningful.
Visiting the women’s community was one of the lovely unexpected highlights of our trip. We were impressed by the work being done there to support women in the local community, and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to learn about their activities and initiatives. We ended up buying some delicious coffee beans from them, making the visit even more memorable. We especially appreciated that Francis understood our interests and found a way to combine our love of wildlife with an authentic opportunity to learn about local life.
Of course, the main highlights of our Uganda adventure were chimpanzee tracking in Kibale and mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Both were extraordinary wildlife experiences, and having the logistics, transportation, and itinerary so well organized allowed us to focus on enjoying every moment. The accommodation arrangements, transfers between destinations, and overall coordination made the journey feel smooth and well planned. We also appreciated the private nature of the safari and the flexibility to enjoy experiences tailored to our interests.
If we had one piece of constructive feedback, it would concern the Bigodi community walk. We absolutely value community-based tourism and understand the importance of ensuring that local people benefit directly from visitors. However, during the walk, we stopped at several different people and activities, including coffee making, a banana-related demonstration, and a local shop. At each stop, there seemed to be an expectation that we would provide an individual tip. While we were happy to support the community, the repeated tipping expectations became a little uncomfortable and made parts of the experience feel more transactional than we had anticipated.
We would have much preferred a system in which a single community contribution or tip could be made at the end and then shared fairly among everyone involved. That would have allowed us to support the community while enjoying the experience without feeling that we were expected to tip at every stop. This is a small but worthwhile area for improvement, as a clearer explanation of the tipping arrangements beforehand, or a collective tipping system, could make the experience more enjoyable for future visitors.
That said, this feedback does not detract from our overwhelmingly positive experience with The Shuttle Hospitality. Bob and Francis made us feel genuinely cared for, and their professionalism, warmth, flexibility, and attention to detail made a real difference to our trip.
We returned home with incredible memories, wonderful photos and videos, and a much deeper appreciation for Uganda’s wildlife, landscapes, and people. We are especially grateful to Bob for designing such a thoughtful itinerary and to Francis for being such a fantastic guide and companion throughout the journey.
We plan to go back soon to repeat the gorilla trekking and explore more of Uganda, such as Queen Elisabeth National Park, and we’ll definitely choose The Shuttle Hospitality again!
Thank you, Bob, Francis, and the entire team at The Shuttle Hospitality, for making our Uganda trip so special. We would absolutely recommend you to anyone planning a safari in Uganda, particularly travelers who appreciate personalized service, attention to detail, and experiences that go beyond the standard itinerary. You helped make this a truly unforgettable trip!

Highly professional safari company delivered excellent multi-day excursion around Tanzania
My experience planning a safari with Philemon, of Aardvark Tours, was excellent. Through careful communication in advance, we planned exactly the trip I wanted, fitting my schedule, and at an appropriate price. Eli, the Aardvark driver and guide during my safari, was superb. He was knowledgeable, friendly, warm, and passionate about Africa and its potential and future. In just a few days in Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Parks, I saw every species I wanted to encounter, most of them many times over. The mid-range accommodations that Philemon arranged were just right for my tastes and budget. My safari was the trip of a lifetime, and I cannot thank Philemon and Eli enough for their professionalism. I can recommend Aardvark without reservation.

Kentau Safaris exceeds in creating the best safari experience through professionalism and passion.
Our group of 4 had chosen Kentau Safaris back in May of 2026. Ever since selecting them the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Prior to visiting in September, any questions that we had regarding travel requirements, packing list, and what to expect on the safari were answered promptly by Dominic. He helped us customize our itinerary to match what we wanted to see and ensured that our group was well prepared for our week long visit to Kenya.
Once we arrived in country, we were picked up early for the beginning of our week long adventure. Our guide Douglas was excellent. From the moment he picked us up, you could tell he was passionate about showing us not only about the animals, but also about his country and was more then happy to explain any questions that we had along the way. He was just as excited as we were when we saw all the different species of animals.
Our itinerary consisted of 7 days visiting three different Kenyan locations, Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, and the Maasai Mara. All three of these locations were very unique in their own way. The backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro with elephants in Amboseli is still one of my favourite backdrops anywhere in the world. With our one night in Lake Naivasha, we enjoyed a boat ride around Crescent Island and a really cool walking safari where you could walk with the wild animals (something we all agreed was a really good experience). The magic of the Mara was enjoyed by all, especially with the sun rise from the hot air balloon.
We couldn't have been happier with our selection of tour company. Whatever our expectation was, it was exceeded in every way and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, it always did. To Dominic, Douglas, and the whole Kentau Team....thank you for the incredible experience!
I would definitely recommend visiting with Kentau Safaris to anyone who is thinking of booking an adventure in the future. The work they put in to ensure an adventure of a lifetime is noticed. Next time I visit the area, I will be messaging Kentau first!

Wild Wings arranged a trip of a life time!
Clare at Wild Wings was a fantastic concierge for us. We wanted to do a week long safari in the Okavanga Delta in Botswana and she arranged everything. Flights in and out, two fabulous camps. She made the excellent suggestion that we do 3 days in a water-based safari camp Camp Okavango and then 3 days in a jeep based camp Camp Moremi. At both camps the guides were excellent, the food was gourmet level and the staff was attentive and friendly. We had the trip of a lifetime.

Good choice
A few days ago, my friends and I climbed Kilimanjaro with Nafika Tours, and I couldn't be happier with our experience!
The company provided everything we needed to feel safe and comfortable throughout the trek. Communication was excellent. We were always well informed about the plan for each day, and there was flexibility to adjust it when needed. The food was also really tasty, which is especially important at this altitude!
The entire team was wonderful and did an amazing job, but I'd especially like to give a shoutout to a few people we had the most contact with: Justin and Frank, our guides, and Adam, our head waiter.
Justin and Frank were great guides. Throughout the trek, we had plenty of opportunities to chat with them and learned a lot about Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, and local life. They were always happy to answer our questions, which made the experience even more interesting and enjoyable.
Adam helped us with everyday things like refilling our water bottles and preparing warm water for washing. I got a bit sick during the trek and mentioned to him that I had run out of tissues. For the rest of the trip, he made sure to bring me a few extra napkins with my morning hot drink.
I can't recommend Nafika Tours highly enough! I'm sure that when I return to Tanzania to explore its other national parks, Nafika Tours will be the first company I contact.

amazing safari experience!!
A huge thank you to Gilmag Safaris! They took care of our booking carefully starting from June, recommended great itineraries and lodges for us. They responded quickly even with time difference. Everything was well-coordinated and flexible to adjust during the trip. We felt safe all the time and had an amazing safari experience!
I’d especially highly recommend our amazing guide Max. We were usually back at the hotel by around 4PM every day thanks to his incredible efficiency. On our first safari day, we spotted three of the Big Five; the second day, four. We saw the cheetah on the second-to-last day, and finally tracked down the leopard on our last day to complete the full Big Five. Max was almost always among the first to spot them! What matters most is you can truly feel his genuine passion for wildlife. During the Mara River Crossing, he didn’t push forward aggressively. Instead, he found us the perfect viewing spot at a proper, respectful distance. He told us all about every animal we passed, big or small. We were so lucky to have Max with us!
