We had an amazing safari experience and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. What made it even more special was that we chose a small local company—they were incredibly professional, friendly, and truly cared about making sure we had the best experience possible.
A special thank you to our guide, Champion. He had an incredible eye for wildlife and spotted so many animals that we would have completely missed on our own. His knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made every game drive exciting. He was also extremely helpful, kind, and always made us feel comfortable throughout the trip.
We highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Tanzania. If you’re lucky enough to have Champion as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable safari!

Our guide, Champion, was outstanding and truly made our safari unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his experience and sharp eye, we saw an amazing variety of animals, and he always made sure we had the best possible views. We were extremely happy to have him as our guide, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
The accommodations, food, and transportation exceeded our expectations, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Every detail of the trip was thoughtfully planned, making the whole experience completely stress-free.

I came to Uganda to volunteer and decided to take the opportunity to go on a safari. I am incredibly grateful for my experience with Abantubo Safaris. Deus is a wonderful guide, but an even better person. He is a true professional with a genuine calling; his main goal is for people to enjoy themselves, and he succeeds in sharing his passion. He is an excellent leader with a vast knowledge of animals I feel I learned so much on this trip with him. I highly recommend having him show you the different sounds animals make.
Deus is more than just a guide; he is a friend who genuinely cares about you. Meeting him was one of the highlights of a trip filled with wonderful experiences.
The worst part was definitely the end of the safari and having to say goodbye to Deus.

Kind, funny and informative Guide

Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari
Recently did a private safari with Spirit of Kenya (three nights in the Masai Mara, then one in Lake Nakuru), and it was everything we wanted. Having asked for quotes from a handful of companies, we went with Spirt of Kenya because of their swift responses, transparency and sensible pricing. Good decision. All through the planning process everything was dealt with efficiently and promptly, and nothing was too much trouble for Laura, who was my main contact in the office. On the safari itself, Nicolas, our guide, was fantastic at tracking down the animals and getting our Land Cruiser into the best positions for photographs. It was a real labour of love for him. The accommodation Spirit of Kenya recommended was excellent, and the transfers to and from the airport at either end of the trip seamless. If I was doing another safari any time soon – I wish! – I would have no hesitation in using Spirit of Kenya again.

Fantastic trip with Edwin Safaris!
My daughter chose a safari in Kenya as her graduation trip, and I’ll admit, I was a little nervous about whether we could make it fit our budget. I requested quotes from about a dozen different safari companies before deciding on Edwin Safaris, and I’m so glad we did. We were able to enjoy an incredible safari while staying at Sopa Lodges and comparable accommodations. Throughout the planning process, Peter was patient, responsive, and wonderful to work with.
Our driver and guide, Jeffrey, made the trip unforgettable. He was fun, patient, and unbelievably knowledgeable. His excitement every time we spotted an animal was absolutely contagious, and it made every game drive even more memorable. He shared fascinating stories along the way, had a soft spot for the warthogs, and always made us feel completely safe. He was always on top of tracking down the big cats, but he also happily indulged the many delays at our lodges and roadside stops when my kids discovered friendly little cats they could actually pet.
If a Kenyan safari is on your bucket list, make it happen. I can’t recommend Edwin Safaris enough; they’ll customize an itinerary that fits your travel style and budget. It was truly the trip of a lifetime, and one I’ll never forget.

An incredible adventure with Bugoli !
