An Extraordinary First Safari Experience
We are relaxing on a gorgeous beach in Zanzibar, reflecting on our extraordinary 14-day African safari adventure with Sunset Adventure Safaris. What an unforgettable experience!
A huge thank you to Emma and the entire Sunset Adventure Safaris team for making our African safari dream come true! From the moment I first reached out to several safari companies, Emma’s prompt responses, thorough communication, and attention to detail gave me confidence that Sunset Adventure Safaris was the right choice. The organization, communication, and care throughout the entire experience exceeded my expectations.
Our driver and guide, Yohana, was absolutely outstanding! He navigated the rugged terrain like a pro and shared a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife, national parks, and local culture. Most importantly, he was attentive, thoughtful, friendly, and incredibly funny. We thoroughly enjoyed his company!
Yohana also did an amazing job keeping our surprise sunrise hot-air balloon excursion a complete secret! Throughout our daily game drives, he seemed to have a knack for finding the most incredible wildlife encounters. From tracking down the elusive leopard high in a tree, to discovering 11 different prides of lions, spotting a pair of cheetahs, and finally finding rhinos—the last of the Big Five for us—on our very last day of safari, he continually surprised and delighted us.

While the incredible wildlife was undoubtedly the star of our 14-day adventure, there were so many other memorable highlights. Our bike tour through Mto wa Mbu village gave us a wonderful glimpse into authentic village life, and the breathtaking sunrise balloon ride over the Serengeti, followed by a champagne breakfast, was truly magical. It was an extremely early start, but absolutely worth it!
The accommodations and food throughout our journey were fantastic. A few places particularly stood out:
* Heart & Soul Lodge, Lake Manyara: Beautiful grounds and the most amazing staff, who made us feel so welcome.
* Marera Valley Lodge: A huge bedroom, a lovely private balcony with a view, a beautiful pool surrounded by lush gardens, and delicious food.
* Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort: Exceptional staff, outstanding service, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind and end our once-in-a-lifetime African adventure.
We are leaving Tanzania with incredible memories, a deeper appreciation for its remarkable wildlife and culture, and immense gratitude for the people who made this journey so special.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Emma and her extraordinary team at Sunset Adventure Safaris to anyone dreaming of an African safari. From the initial planning to the final day, they delivered an exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations in every way.

An unforgettable experience! If you’re going to Tanzania, you absolutely must go on this safari. The organisation was perfect, and having compared several offers, the price was excellent for such an incredible experience.
An unforgettable day during which we were lucky enough to see so many different species, including 4 of the Big Five: lions, lionesses, elephants, hippos, hyenas, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs (Pumba), crocodiles, antelopes, and many more!
Don’t hesitate — go for it! You won’t regret it!

7 day safari with memories for a lifetime.
Me and my wife booked the 7 day safari, including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. Before the safari, Monica followed by Joy were extremely helpful in organising the tour and ensuring we had all the correct information for a successful trip. It’s hard to summarise the full safari as there were so many incredible moments. Our tour guide Roger was extremely knowledgeable and I believe he put us in the best positions possible across the 7 days to have the best opportunities to see the animals in their natural habitats. It was fun chasing some of the animals with Roger at the wheel, and he made plenty of jokes to keep the tour lighthearted. Overall, I thought the tour was incredible value for money. 4 of our days were spent with 1 other client too, so it was nice to have some space around the jeep. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to make the most of their time in Kenya, and I thought it was great value for money.

Fantastic safari experience with JungleRoam Safari – Solomon is the BEST!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with JungleRoam Safari from start to finish! Everything was very well organised, the entire trip ran smoothly, and we got to experience some incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. The whole adventure exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
A special mention goes to our guide, Solomon, who was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience.
A huge thank you to the entire JungleRoam Safari team for such a wonderful and memorable adventure. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya!

Once in a Lifetime Experience
We spent 7 days on Safari with Axis Safaris and visited 4 different national parks/areas for Safari. It was an unforgettable experience getting to witness lots of animals up close and managed to tick off the Big 5! The journeys are long between each of the different areas, but ample bottles of water were provided which really helped for those hot days. Roger was a great guide and managed to get us into the best spots to see/take photos of the animals. His knowledge of each animal and area was exceptional and we learned a lot from him! The itinerary was clear from the beginning and helped us to see what each day would hold. Roger would also communicate with us the day before what the day would look like so we were prepared. He would also ensure we were all okay to move on from different animal sighting spots around the parks before he drove off, and always ensured there were enough rest stops/bathroom breaks during the long days.
One small area that could improve would be for Roger to ensure he asked all of our names from the beginning and also found out a few things about us during our time with him. This would have made the tour even more personal.
Apart from that, the whole experience was amazing, and a trip I will never forget!

We visited lots of great safaris, every accommodation was nice and we were trasported to all locations without any issues. We were well taken care of and people were very nice.

Good organization, good guides
We were a Family group of 9 persons and were very satisfied with Boost. The small camps in the wilderness, eco, sustainable, was exactly what we wanted.
Two persons were very experienced African travellers.
The guides, especially in Tanzania, were excellent.

Perfect organization of our dream safari
We are a family of three from Germany and we were looking for our very first private safari in Tanzania. So happy that we found Serengeti African Tours! Everything went completely smooth, from the planning of the first draft to the drop-off at the airport for our flight back home. Loved the accomodations and saw more animals than expected. Thank you so much Antonia for your service and a very special thank you to our driver Baton. He made the week very special and we enjoyed every minute of our journey. So much that our 6yo son cried for hours when he had to leave him. We really hope that we can come back the near future.
