Great Safari Experience
5/5

Our 2-day Ngorongoro safari was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was seamless, from the airport pickup to the transfer back to Arusha.

Our guide was fantastic—friendly, highly experienced, and clearly knew the park inside and out. Thanks to his expertise, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife, and he always managed to get us into the best viewing positions ahead of the other vehicles. One of the absolute highlights was witnessing a lion actively hunting, which was an unforgettable experience and something we'll never forget.

The entire trip was well organized, stress-free, and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this safari and especially our guide to anyone looking for an exceptional wildlife experience in Tanzania!

The best ever
5/5

Our safari in Kenya was an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Lawrence. From the moment we arrived until he dropped us back at the airport, he made sure everything was taken care of. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about making our trip as special as possible. Every drive was enjoyable because he shared so much about the wildlife, Kenyan history and local culture, making each journey just as memorable as the game drives themselves.

Seeing the Big Five was something I will never forget. Lawrence always seemed to know exactly where to be and positioned the vehicle perfectly so everyone could enjoy amazing views and take fantastic photographs. Watching him anticipate where the animals would move, especially when we were lucky enough to get so close to a lion, was incredibly impressive.

One thing that meant a lot to me personally was how caring Lawrence was when I became unwell with a sore throat during the trip. Before we even reached our accommodation that evening, he had already contacted the resort so a doctor was waiting to see me when we arrived. That level of kindness and attention really showed how much he cared about his guests, and it made me feel completely looked after.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge was definitely my favourite place we stayed. Waking up to see zebras and giraffes outside our room felt like something out of a dream. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and having wildlife wandering freely around the property made it a truly unique experience. The food throughout the trip was excellent, with Ziwu Bush Lodge standing out as my favourite.

Lawrence always had plenty of fresh water available, gave us useful advice about the weather and made sure we were comfortable throughout the long journeys. We always felt safe, relaxed and well cared for. His passion for Kenya, its wildlife and its people really shines through, and it made the experience even more meaningful.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Kenya, and if you have the opportunity to request Lawrence as your guide, do it. He helped turn an amazing holiday into a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I'll always remember.

There is no one I’d trust more to take me into the Botswanan wilderness
5/5

What’s more impressive than a safari where everything goes according to plan? A safari where things don’t, but your tour operator sorts it all out effortlessly without breaking a sweat and you still see everything you dreamed of seeing.

My friend and I just finished a six day trip with Sox and his team and it was everything we had hoped it would be. We saw leopards, lions, wild dogs, hyenas and thousands of impala. Sox knows his stuff. Knows where to look. Knows the right places to visit. This is someone who loves and cares about his country and is proud of it (as he should be!) and that came through in every encounter with wildlife we had.

The food was excellent (I have no idea how Maps prepared everything to such a high quality with just a camp stove!!), the tent comfortable and secure and the trip ran smoothly despite some hiccups. Which I think is even more impressive than if it had just all gone according to plan.

Halfway through our trip one of the vehicles got bogged in deep sand a few times. Sox, Maps and Obs figured it all out on the fly without any impact on our safari whatsoever. These are people I’d trust to take me anywhere.

Not only did we see everything we wanted to see, we’ve left the safari knowing so much more about the wildlife that call Botswana home and about Botswana itself. We really couldn’t have had a better time.

Fatimah was also a delight to organise the safari with and she was able to book onwards transfers for us to Mosi-oa-Tunya
(Victoria Falls) which were seamless and deeply appreciated.

If you’re looking for someone who is a problem solver, cool under pressure, organised and competent, loves and cares for the environment, is an excellent tracker, tour guide and wonderful company as a travelling companion then this is your guy. Cannot recommend Sox, Fatimah and their team enough.

Golden Rwanda Safaris worked with our group to curate this amazing once-in-a-lifetime trip.
5/5

Our group of 12 was made up of 8 people from California and a family of 4 from Australia. Our group of 8 arrived in Kigali on June 24th and were greeted and picked up by our two driver-guides, Messrs. Taufique ("Mr. T") and Sufiane. The two SUVs which were to be our vehicles for our 13-day journey had plenty of leg room and easily carried all of our collective gear. We stayed at the Governor's Residence for the first two nights where we were treated with sumptuous meals, spacious rooms, and amazing personal service in this luxurious private compound.

Our 13-day adventure was negotiated by our group leaders John and Stacy and Mr. Frank Benoit Kanymutara, the founder and owner of GRS. In our itinerary, they were able to include: a visit to the Genocide Memorial in Kigali, time in Nyungwe Forest National Park, Lake Kivu, Volcanoes National Park, and Akagera National Park.

The visit to the Genocide Memorial in Kigali provided a sobering perspective on what this country has been through in its recent past. Our time in Nyungwe Forest National Park, a well preserved rainforest where we trekked in search of chimpanzees and other wildlife, also provided opportunities to hike in or zipline above the forest canopy. In Volcanoes National Park, while our main objectives were trekking mountain gorillas and golden monkeys on Mt. Bisoke, we also visited the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, saw and shopped for local crafts at the women-run Gorilla Guardians Village; and also visited the women-owned Virunga Mountain Spirits where we sampled their locally sourced creations. Finally on our itinerary, we travelled to Akagera National Park in search of the big five game animals, the lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and African buffalo.

Our accommodations at each venue were top notch: Governor's Residence in Kigali; Munanzi Eco Lodge in the middle of the Nyungwe National Forest; Cleo Hotel on the shores of Lake Kivu; Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel in Kinigi; Karenge Bush Camp, and Ruzizi Tented Lodge in Akagera National Park. Our driver-guides made sure that our meals were planned ahead of our arrivals at each hotel. There was always a large menu to choose from along with selections available to our vegetarians and gluten free companions. The staff at each accommodation were welcoming and above-and beyond helpful.

We were able do all this with the careful and thoughtful curation of our tour operator, GRS. Our driver-guides, Mr. T and Sufiane were amazing with keeping our group well-fed, well-hydrated and on-time to our appointed excursions. Each morning, our driver guides made sure our vehicles were stocked with snacks and drinks. In addition, some of us had some personal needs along the way that each handled with discretion. Sometimes we needed more local currency, and Mr. T and Sufiane always found the safest banking places. I personally needed an asthma inhaler and Sufiane took me to a pharmacy upon our return to Kigali. These two gentlemen could not do enough for us. Our safety, comfort and enjoyment were their constant focus. Thank you, Mr. T and Sufiane for our beautiful Rwanda experience.

For all that we were able to do, our money was well spent.

A review on queen Elizabeth national park
5/5

Some journeys end when you return home, this one will stay with me for a lifetime.

Exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park and the breathtaking Mweya Peninsula with Kaju Tours was an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, every detail of the trip was thoughtfully organized, allowing me to fully immerse myself in Uganda's spectacular landscapes, incredible wildlife, diverse birdlife, and the breathtaking scenery along the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward.

I was equally impressed by the excellent accommodations and carefully selected destinations. Everything was perfectly planned to ensure comfort, relaxation, and a truly memorable adventure. Beyond the wildlife, the journey also gave me the opportunity to experience the rich culture and warm hospitality of the local communities, making the trip even more meaningful.

A special thank you to our guide, Isaac, whose friendliness, professionalism, and extensive knowledge made every moment educational, engaging, and enjoyable. His passion for Uganda's wildlife and conservation added immense value to the entire experience.

Thank you, KAJU Tours, for creating memories that I will treasure forever. I wholeheartedly recommend KAJU Tours to anyone looking to discover Uganda's magnificent national parks, breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, exceptional accommodations, and vibrant cultural heritage. You won't just take a trip, you'll create memories that last a lifetime.

Wonderful and Consistent Service and Support.
5/5

From the very beginning of our conversations about what I was interested in doing during my visit to Rwanda, Abbey took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a total experience and then delivered. Our back and forth conversation led to a most perfect itinerary for me. I am a mid-range to budget Traveler (with a focus on wildlife, national parks and village culture) and Abbey nailed it.
On top of that, from the very beginning when I met my guide Yves at the airport, I knew I was in good hands. Yves provided outstanding information in regards to the history of the country, developments in the country's agriculture, industry and infrastructure and picked out the best places for lunch! Unfortunately I have some pre-existing health issues that unexpectedly surfaced during my visit so Yves was not only a terrific guide, he ended up providing additional support that I needed due to my health conditions. We are talking way above and beyond. And while I would certainly have preferred not to become ill, I must say that I met such kind wonderful people, I came away with nothing but gratitude at what I was able to experience. Coming upon a wild gorilla family in Volcano National Park was probably the most amazing encounter I have ever had in this lifetime. In short, I highly recommend Lush Africa Safaris for assistance in planning a trip to remember anywhere in Africa that they service.
