Unforgettable experience
From the very beginning, Sammy replied to my emails really quickly. It didn’t matter if it was a weekday or weekend, or even with the time difference. He always got back to me in a couple of hours. If it wasn’t for him, I honestly don’t think I would have had the motivation to make this trip happen.
When he picked us up at the airport, we immediately felt how genuine and caring he was. Throughout the trip, he regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was going well.
Our guide, Gabriel, was amazing. He was incredibly experienced and always quick to head to wildlife sightings as soon as he heard them over the radio. He also made sure we got the best spots for photos. What impressed us most was that he could drive and spot animals at the same time. He often found animals long before we even noticed them ourselves.
I’m so glad I chose Splendid Vacations. They made our Kenya safari an unforgettable experience, and I’ll definitely book with them again if I ever come back to Kenya. Highly recommend!

I usually travel solo as a photography enthusiast, and choosing the right tour company is always important to me. Before booking, I was concerned about the security situation in Tigray, so I asked them directly. I spent two unforgettable weeks exploring Ethiopia, and every part of the tour was exceptionally well organized. As a photographer, I was amazed by the incredible landscapes, ancient history, vibrant cultures, and the warmth of the Ethiopian people. Before this trip, I had no idea Ethiopia offered such an incredible variety of world-class destinations. It truly exceeded all of my expectations.
The tour was excellent value for money. Everything was organized professionally, and the quality of service was outstanding. I have traveled to many places, but the hospitality and personal attention I received on this trip made it one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life.
Interestingly, I was originally planning to visit Tanzania and Kenya. My travel agent noticed that I had a transit flight through Ethiopia and suggested, "Why not visit Ethiopia as well?" Perfect 5 days fly in Krüger + Panorama Route Tour
Everything (flights & transfers, hotel incl breakfast & dinner, game drives, Panorama Route) was well organized. So you do not need a rental car. In case of questions we could easiliy contact someone via WhatsApp and received great support.
The tour was even better than expected. For us it was a perfect mix between Game Drives and Environment. It was a private tour, so our guide Given used all of his abilities to ensure us to see the Big 5 within our stay. We had a great time and got beautiful pictures. We have seen the animals very close, even the camouflaged ones like leopard. He considered our preferences like showing us a river crossing of elephants. While in the first game drive every animal is exciting later we focused on the special ones. But we always made a stop, when we wanted to.
The hotel (Skukuza Lodge) is nice and comfortable. Really great is the view from the restaurant on the river where some animals come to visit. On this tour we had two afternoons where we could enjoy this view ans search for animals crossing by.
Also the Panorama Route is very nice with a beautiful landscape and made the package for us complete.
