We had the best safari experience.
From the midnight airport pickup, through the safari, to the airport drop off, the Suricata staff were really helpful and couldn't have been any more friendly. Our guide Gerald was amazing. He took the time to find out what we wanted to see, and delivered well beyond our expectations. I thoroughly recommend Suricata to anyone looking for a great Tanzania experience.

Absolutely amazing experience in Tanzania with Roko
We just spent one month touring South and East Africa and spent a lot of time researching this adventure beforehand. We prefer dealing with small and locally owned companies when possible. We are very fortunate to have chosen Roko Safaris for our Tanzania leg of the trip. First of all, trip planning and communication with both Roko and Miranda was very easy . Our many questions and emails were handled promptly and courteously.This trip was carefully designed around our wishes. Secondly, Roko is a local who grew up in the Masaai community. His insights into local customs and culture added a very special and unique aspect to a safari that is hard, if not impossible, to replicate. This was especially important to us as we were traveling with our 14 year old grandson and we wanted him to have a real and genuine cultural experience. This was far more than just a game viewing safari only and that was a desired outcome for us.
We could not be any more pleased with our time with Roko Safaris. The last thing to mention is that Roko's ability to spot game while on a game drive is remarkeable. We were able to watch and observe animals that other safari vehicles drove past without noticing. I liked the fact that he was not using the radio to go to the game that others had found. It made for a more genuine and relaxed safari experience. I strongly recommend Roko Safaris if you considering a visit to Tanzania. This safari far exceeded our expectations!

Amazing Kenya Safari for Our Honeymoon
We’ve just finished our 6‑day, 5‑night Kenya safari covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli.
Tabitha replied to emails very quickly. As it was our honeymoon, she arranged fresh flowers and coordinated with hotels for honeymoon decorations.
Our guide Collin Sempele, with more than 25 years of experience, knows animal habits and local weather very well. We saw the African Big Five and roughly 20‑30 species of animals. He gave us great tips for wildlife sightings and photography, and we got so many amazing shots.
We are very happy with this Kenya trip overall.

Perfect Honeymoon Safari: Full Big Five & Exceptional Guide Collin from Axis Africa
My wife and I enjoyed an incredible 6-day honeymoon safari across Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli with Axis Africa and the whole journey was incredibly smooth and well-organized from start to finish. Pre-trip communication was prompt and clear, and the team maintained reliable updates throughout our travel, eliminating all logistical worries for us as first-time Africa visitors.
Tabitha warmly greeted us with delicate romantic honeymoon surprises upon our arrival, making our special trip feel personalized and heartfelt immediately. Our dedicated driver and guide Collin Sempele is highly professional, experienced and deeply respectful of wildlife ethics. On our first game drive in Masai Mara, he located the entire Big Five within only 2.5 hours. He guided us to safe, up-close sightings of herds of rhinos at Lake Nakuru, plus more than 20 unique bird species and large elephant populations during our stay in Amboseli National Park, alongside cheetahs and countless rare wildlife across the whole itinerary. He also offered patient photography guidance, helping us capture countless breathtaking photos we will cherish permanently.

great hiking experience
We hiked Mount Meru with Mountain Warriors. We had the best team with Eli as our guide, and with Wiliam and Paschal. We felt very safe and had a great experience!

Generally satisfied.
・I participated in a 3-day, 2-night tour; although the game drive on the first day was only 2–3 hours long, it still required an entrance fee, so I opted to join only the game drive on the second day to save money. Even so, I was able to enjoy a full day of safari activities and was very satisfied with the experience. The guide also provided plenty of commentary about the animals.
There was no set end time for the game drive, and we had no subsequent plans, so we were free to return to our accommodation whenever we liked; however, the guide seemed eager to wrap things up by late afternoon—hurrying us along for some reason whenever we stopped to take photos—which I found a bit unpleasant.
・When I went to the river to see hippos, I was guided by an armed guard, but I felt uncomfortable because I was essentially forced to give a tip. However, since there were so many other people around, I don't think this practice is limited to just this tour company.
・The price included transportation, but for the return trip, I wasn't taken back to my hotel; instead, I was told to take a taxi from the office—for some reason, they wouldn't drive me. Since it was only 1.5 km away, I walked. However, other people whose hotels were on the way back *were* given a ride.
・This is slightly off-topic regarding the tour company itself, but I stayed at a partner budget-friendly accommodation. Another person on the same tour forgot their wallet there; they were contacted about it, but 1,000 KSH had been stolen from it.

Loved the tour..thanks to axis and best driver jackson
Our four-day safari with Axis Travel was absolutely amazing. Masai Mara was a true highlight, and our guide Jackson was exceptional. He was calm, knowledgeable, and put in so much effort to make sure we got the best sightings possible, giving us plenty of time for photography. Though seeing a leopard and rhino proved tough, his dedication was unmatched. The boating tour on Lake Naivasha was a nice experience, and our time in Nakuru was fine, where we spotted a whole lion family and a rhino from far The other driver, John, was good too, but Jackson was definitely the best, and the food was consistently good throughout the trip.though little bland for indians.
The accommodations really added to the enjoyment of the trip, starting with the first two nights at Lencada camp, where the Wi-Fi worked well in the rooms. The third night at Buraha Hotel near Lake Nakuru was also a very nice stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with Axis Travel.
