Caring and professional company
I am a full time carer of my husband who has advanced dementia. I had an opportunity for my son to care for him for a week, and my children encouraged me to visit Victoria Falls ( a lifetime dream). I had only a week to arrange a trip. I contacted a number of local tour companies in Vic Falls, and was impressed by the prompt and professional response of Brighton. He managed to put together, at very short notice, and for a solo traveller a 5 night programme which included Hwange NP, the Falls (amazing and exceeded all expectations), Sunset Cruise, Chobe NP day trip, and Boma dinner.
Don't know where to start. It was the most amazing visit...packed with activities, but all running smoothly because of the excellent service from DK. I was met at the airport by Owen. What an ambassador for Zimbabwe! He was knowledgeable and shared many insights into his country. Also an excellent and safe driver, seeming to know all the potholes on the highway,! I met Owen a number of times ,during my stay, and always looked forward to our conversations which gave me greater knowledge of his country.
Robins camp in Hwange was a delight, and staff really wanting to make your stay comfortable. James was a skilled guide and every game drive was rewarding. Chobe NP was a contrast, but again, a wonderful experience, seeing animals come to the river to drink...and play!!
Witnessing Victoria Falls was one of the most moving experiences of my life...that force of nature! In retrospect, I wish I had visited first thing in morning (less people) and without a guide, for a more 'personal' experience, but my packed programme wouldn't have allowed this.
I cannot fault any aspect of the wonderful tour that DK arranged. I had an issue with a large surcharge their (separate company,) payment platform ,made for paying by credit card. DK tried to take this up on my behalf. In the end, they 'gifted' me a Helicopter ride over the Falls (worth more than the surcharge,). Brighton came to meet me in person on my last day. It was clear that he and his father, Winston were genuinely concerned that my trip had been satisfactory. No worries! It created fantastic memories that will stay with me in difficult times. A huge thank you to Winston and Brighton, and also to Owen who are me feel safe and welcome at all times. Unreservedly recommend them!

The trip of a lifetime, thanks to Goldfinch!
I can't recommend this agency highly enough. I am so glad we chose Goldfinch to organise our tour. We spent six days and five nights on our safari, including Northern and Central Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. From the start, Joseph was so helpful and accommodating, looking at different options for our accommodation and making excellent suggestions about the trip. All of his recommendations were spot on - he was a brilliant and very patient tour organiser!
What really stood out for us was the expertise and experience of our guide Eriki. He knew the areas and the wildlife so well, we had some absolutely jaw dropping encounters with the 'big five' but also some wonderful quieter moments, sitting with zebra and giraffe, spotting the little dikdiks, learning about the people and cultures of Tanzania. He was outstanding - so much so that our teenage daughters barely touched their phones for a week!
We chose Goldfinch because they seemed like a smaller operator, and the price was very competitive. I would 100% recommend them - it felt like we arrived as clients and left as friends.

Life-changing experience! Incredible guide!!
My husband and I booked a 7-day safari that included Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater. It was an absolutely life-changing experience and we have nothing but amazing things to say about our guide, Kiva! Not only was he brilliant at being able to track the animals to try and find the ones we were most excited to see (big 5, numerous Lion prides, the illusive leopard, we were so lucky!), he also had amazing intuition on where the animals might move so that he could put the car into position to get the best possible angles for photos! He was so knowledgeable but also went above and beyond the entire safari. He took the time to explain things to us, prepare us for each day, but more than that, he was such a caring guide. There were so many other guides along the way that had car troubles (overheating, stuck, accidents, etc) and he never hesitated to check in on the guides to offer a helping hand. That is how connected he is to the community! We’ll remember this experience forever. Thank you Kiva!

21 unforgettable days discovering Uganda with Jeisking Tours
We spent 21 days travelling around Uganda with Jeisking Tours and had an absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end.
Sandra organised a very complete and well-balanced itinerary for us, combining wildlife, gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, national parks, landscapes and local experiences. Communication before the trip was excellent and everything was very well organised.
One of the things we are most grateful for is that, thanks to their help, we were able to obtain special permission for our 13-year-old daughter to participate in the gorilla trekking. Being able to experience this together as a family was one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire trip.
Our guide and driver, Innocent, was exceptional. He has great knowledge of Uganda and its wildlife, is an excellent driver and always made us feel completely safe. But what made the biggest difference was his personality. Spending 21 days travelling together meant we had the opportunity to learn a lot about Ugandan culture, daily life and the country beyond the usual tourist experience.
The whole trip felt very personal and flexible, never rushed or overly touristy. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife and landscapes, but some of our best memories also came from the conversations and experiences along the way.
After travelling independently through other African countries, we can honestly say that Uganda has become one of our favourite destinations in Africa.
We would highly recommend Jeisking Tours, and especially Sandra and Innocent, to anyone looking for a well-organised, authentic and memorable safari in Uganda.
