A special thank you to our driver, Paul Simon, who was extremely professional, friendly and pleasant. He drove very carefully and confidently, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He was attentive and considerate at all times.
Our safari guide, Tiamo, was equally outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and attentive, with a fantastic sense of humour that made the day even more enjoyable. His passion and knowledge really added to the whole experience.
Both Paul Simon and Tiamo went above and beyond to make the day special. Their professionalism, warmth and attention to detail made all the difference.

Where do I even begin? Four days hiking Mount Kenya, reaching Point Lenana at 4,985 metres, and without a doubt one of the most incredible and unforgettable experiences of my life. And so much of that is thanks to the AMAZING team at Tilman Safaris!
From the very first contact, their professionalism, availability, flexibility, and genuine willingness to help were outstanding. Even when I decided at the very last minute to switch from a private tour to a group tour, they immediately went above and beyond to find a solution for me. Everything was handled so smoothly, and I always felt that they genuinely cared about making this experience the best it could possibly be.
And then there was Daniel, our guide — what an absolute legend! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us through this adventure. His knowledge, patience, encouragement, positive energy, and genuine care made all the difference. He was always attentive to everyone’s needs, making sure we felt safe, supported, and motivated throughout the entire journey. I genuinely cannot thank him enough!
And I really want to highlight the incredible work of the ENTIRE team — the driver, the porters, the cooks, and everyone working behind the scenes. These are the people who make adventures like this possible, and their hard work deserves so much recognition. Carrying equipment through challenging mountain terrain, preparing delicious meals in demanding conditions, making sure everything was organised and that we were comfortable and well looked after… absolutely impressive! Their dedication, kindness, and positive spirit made the whole experience even more special.
What made this adventure truly unforgettable wasn’t just reaching the summit or witnessing the breathtaking landscapes, but also the wonderful people who made the entire journey possible. From beginning to end, I felt incredibly well taken care of, and the team’s passion for what they do was visible in every little detail.
