An unforgettable safari experience – Thank you, Anton and the Suricata team!

We spent four unforgettable days exploring the Serengeti, Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater, with Anton as our guide. We absolutely loved every moment of the experience, and he was a huge part of what made it so special.

Anton was an incredible guide, not only because of his knowledge and dedication, but also because of his personality. He was always in a great mood, full of positive energy, and even when unexpected issues came up or everyone was getting tired towards the end of the day, he somehow always managed to keep smiling and maintain a positive attitude. It was clear how hard he worked to make sure we had the best possible experience, constantly looking after us and going the extra mile to make our trip memorable.

I will wholeheartedly recommend Anton to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania!

To finish our trip, we visited Lake Manyara with Robert in an open jeep, and what an amazing experience it was! Robert was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who went beyond simply showing us the animals. He explained the science behind their behaviours, their habits and everything happening around us. I was particularly impressed by his genuine curiosity, passion and dedication to his work. You could really feel how much he loves what he does. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Thank you so, so much, Robert, for such a memorable experience!

One of the things that touched us most, beyond the safari itself, was witnessing the sense of community among the guides. Whenever a vehicle needed assistance or something had to be fixed, guides would immediately come together to help one another, even when working for different companies. It was beautiful to see how genuine this support was. You could really feel that they are one big family, looking out for each other. That is something we will remember just as much as the incredible wildlife encounters.

And a special thank you to the entire Suricata team. All the hotels and lodges were amazing, and we met so many hardworking, welcoming people along the way. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, the Suricata team took great care of us. Even when our luggage didn’t arrive at the airport, they handled everything and coordinated with the airport to make sure we received our backpack in time for the safari. That level of care and attention made such a difference and gave us complete peace of mind.

Something else that really impressed us was all the organisation and hard work that goes into making a safari happen, something I think many people don’t fully realise when booking this kind of experience.

Behind every day in the parks, there is so much happening behind the scenes: coordinating vehicles and suppliers, having extra cars available in case something happens to a jeep, preparing all the food, organising and packing the picnic boxes, making sure there is always enough water, and even taking care of all the fuel logistics. Every day, our jeep was also cleaned and prepared for the following adventure.

All these details might seem small individually, but together they require an incredible amount of coordination, teamwork and dedication. What impressed us even more was seeing how much of this work happens after the team has already spent a long, tiring day out in the parks. The effort behind the scenes is just as impressive as the experience we get to enjoy as guests. It really made us appreciate the entire team even more.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Anton, Robert and everyone at Suricata, for making this trip so special. We will be recommending you without hesitation!

It was an unforgettable experience – thank you so much!
5/5

As a group of five, we went on a tailor-made 14-day safari in Tanzania with “Madini Africa Adventure” – our best holiday so far and a wonderful experience. We would especially like to thank our guide, Frederic. He was our driver, teacher, entertainer and friend all in one, introducing us to the country, its natural surroundings, wildlife, culture and people with extraordinary passion. Thanks to his excellent network, he knows almost every guide in the national parks and therefore always knew where to find the animals. We saw everything from the “Big Five” to the “Ugly Five”, and even witnessed the wildebeest migration across the Mara River. An incredible experience!
Our itinerary took us to a waterfall at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, to Moshi, and to Arusha, Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. We rounded off the trip with a few days enjoying a beach holiday on Zanzibar.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to Nane and Benaiah, who planned and organised the safari and booked the wonderful lodges and hotels.

It was an unforgettable experience – thank you so very much!

Anton and Robert are amazing human beings and excellent professionals.
5/5

We thought we were going to have a lifetime experience during our first visit to Africa and our first safari but this experience went much beyond.

Excellent organisation from the Suricata team - that supported us since the first day as our luggage got stuck in Kenya. After a turbulence arrival, they provided us all their attention and on the next day we woke up with our luggage picked up and delivered to the hotel.

After that, all was perfect. The lodges, the game drives, the relationship within the car was top notch. Anton is genuinely a great human being and very kind, always with a smile in his face although sometimes we faced some hiccups proper from an adventure in the nature, surrounded with beautiful animals from the big 5 to the least loved, yet as amazing animals like hyenas, pumbas, serval cats, giraffes, etc.

Even the group that the Suricatas organized in our car was simply the best possible.

Last, on the last day we did a safari in Lake Manyara with an open jeep with Robert and, again, what an amazing human being. These kind of experiences reminds us that the world is made of beautiful people and this is how we are able to create unforgettable experiences.

A special thanks also to the entire team, that organized everything perfectly and were working hard in the background to make the whole experience as good as possible. From the supply cars, the drivers that are constantly supporting each other when needed, to the crews from the lodges.

Suricatas is a must and will be our recommendation to everyone.

Great week’s safari
5/5

We had an amazing week in safari.
A late start on the first day due to traffic but once we got going it was all good. Kristian looked after us very well seeking out the animals we were keen to see. Accommodation was good too

An unforgettable safari experience with Lion King Adventure
5/5

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Lion King Adventures. From the very first enquiry right through to the end of our trip, the communication was fantastic. They were more than happy to work with us to create a safari that suited exactly what we wanted. Every step was clearly explained, everything was incredibly well organised, and we always felt that we were in safe hands.

The lodges we stayed in were absolutely incredible, particularly the Nyota lodges. Staying in places like that was genuinely a dream come true and made the whole experience even more special. The safari vehicles were also brilliant, with comfortable seats, charging points and cold drinks available throughout the day. All the national park permits and passes were organised in advance, so we never had to worry about the logistics and could simply enjoy every moment.

A particularly special mention, and the biggest thank you of all, has to go to our guide, Geofrey. We really cannot thank him enough for giving us the most unbelievable week. The amount of hard work, care and effort he put into making sure we had the best possible experience was fantastic. He was an amazing driver and so knowledgeable about the wildlife, animals and national parks. He was always punctual, and we knew exactly what the plans were for the following day before heading to bed each evening.

He made sure we had the opportunity to see the Big Five, and a photographer myself, he was always so patient and happy to give me the time I needed to get the shots I wanted. He genuinely went above and beyond, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Most importantly, he made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. By the end of the week, it honestly felt less like being driven around by a guide and more like travelling with a friend. It was a real pleasure getting to know him, and Lion King Adventures are incredibly lucky to have him as part of their team. We wish him all the very best for the future.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, and one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. Hopefully, if we’re fortunate enough, one day we’ll be back.

Thank you to everyone at Lion King Adventures, and especially to Geofrey, for memories we’ll treasure forever.

An unforgettable authentic African safari!
5/5

Our first camping safari in the African wilderness was an unforgettable adventure that exceeded our expectations. We dreamed of experiencing real African wildlife, but never imagined how close we would actually get.

From the beginning, Monametsi was extremely helpful and flexible, accommodating all our requests and following the agreed itinerary exactly. We were initially nervous about sending money in advance to an unfamiliar African agency, but everything was delivered as promised. We particularly appreciated his help arranging a scenic helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta.

Our guide, Daylos, was highly experienced and had an impressive knowledge of the African wilderness. Sometimes we had to smile because what left us absolutely speechless seemed like just another ordinary day at the office for him. But we suppose that after spending so many years among lions and elephants, you eventually get used to having such extraordinary neighbours!

The wildlife encounters were simply incredible – elephants and hyenas visiting our camps, a lion walking around our camp at night, and elephants feeding and bathing right in front of us at the Khwai River. These memories will stay with us forever.

The camping experience and food deserve five stars!
Our spacious tents were surprisingly comfortable, with warm water prepared every morning and evening. Special thanks to our wonderful cook, who prepared delicious meals over an open fire, even baking a cake in the middle of the bush! His kindness and genuine care made every evening special.

We loved having our own private, open-sided safari vehicle, which brought us incredibly close to nature. The cooler with chilled drinks, including beer and wine arranged at our request, was another thoughtful touch.

There were a few challenges, including a vehicle problem and a delay involving police checks, which unfortunately disrupted one day. However, the team took good care of us, and Monametsi addressed our concerns. Looking back, even these unexpected moments became part of our African adventure!

Our main disappointment was the accommodation at Victoria Falls, where the quality of services did not match the price.

Would we recommend Moonstroll Safaris? Absolutely!

Our budget did not allow for expensive luxury lodges, but we have no regrets. We experienced a genuine African safari, received excellent value for money, and honestly feel we got much more than we expected.

There is a little room for improvement, but we mention this only with good intentions.

Thank you, Monametsi, Daylos and the entire team, for an extraordinary experience. We wish you many more happy guests who appreciate the beauty of a truly authentic African safari!

Experience of a Lifetime with the BEST Tour Company
5/5

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with WeTour Safaris! We were so glad we chose a smaller company—the personal attention, exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and wonderful guides made this a trip we’ll never forget.

We stayed at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge with Peter as our guide in Amboseli, followed by Mara Serena Safari Lodge with Frank as our guide in the Maasai Mara. Both guides made their portions of the trip incredibly special, and we couldn’t have asked for better people to share this adventure with.

Patrica, our coordinator, was so attentive and took such care to make sure the experience of our dreams became a reality. From planning through the safari itself, we felt exceptionally well looked after. We cannot recommend this company highly enough!

Awesome experience in South Africa highlighting clear communication and wonderful accommodations
5/5

We were assisted with all aspects of the planning and follow-up by the expert-Angie Main (extraordinarily lovely). We did the 16-day Royal Morubisi, Tshukudu Safari, Capetown and West Coast Experience. We stayed at 5 different properties, each lodging having its own different vibes-all elegant & comfortable with staff that went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stays and food. Our drivers, Thabo and Jonathan, kept us secure, safe and well informed. Our safari guides, Lucas and Johnson, were so exceptional… I don’t have enough words to describe their breadth of knowledge about the animals and their ecosystem. They went out of their way to assure that we saw ALL the animals (not just the Big 5). We loved so many aspects of our exposure to the African culture, I can’t name only one… but the evening at the Gold Room for the Immersive African Experience stands out as one of the most fun! I highly recommend Go Touchdown because they truly live up to their name (NOT having anything to do with football)-you TOUCH DOWN in the country and you GO-this great company takes over everything from there!

Trip of a Lifetime!
5/5

My cousin had a wonderful experience earlier this year with Dancing Zebra Safari and recommended Jessica and her team to us. She put together an unforgettable 10-day safari to the Ngorongoro Crater and Northern Serengeti in Tanzania and Amboseli National Park in Kenya. The Elewana and Lemala properties we stayed at were first-rate: luxurious accommodations, excellent meals, and courteous staff. Our guides Frank, FLorence and Albert were experienced and very knowledgeable about their respective park's geography, geology, botany, birds, animals--you name it.

Dancing Zebra Safari is well-organized, responsive and quick to ensure that changes (a flight cancellation, for example) are resolved. I highly recommend them!

Unforgettable Trip in Tanzania
5/5

I had a positive experience arranging my Tanzania safari through Biko Adventures Tours Tanzania LTD. The booking process was simple, and the team was helpful when explaining the available safari options. They communicated the important details, including the itinerary, destinations, and travel arrangements. What I appreciated most was having clear information before making the reservation. Planning a safari in a new country can sometimes feel complicated, but the booking arrangements were easy to follow. Biko Adventures Tours is worth considering for travelers who want assistance planning and organizing a safari adventure in Tanzania.
