They put customer's benefits as their top priority
5/5

recently completed an 8-day Kenya safari tour that included visits to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Hell's Gate, and Amboseli National Parks. The experience was truly unforgettable, offering a fantastic mix of wildlife and landscapes.

The tour was well-priced. Accommodations were reasonably comfortable throughout the trip.

One of the standout aspects of the tour was the excellent customer service. Any concerns or issues we raised with the tour agency were addressed promptly and efficiently.

Amazing Experience
5/5

African Big Cats was an excellent experience - from planning our custom itinerary to booking the trip from the US, communication was fantastic. ABCS was thorough, friendly, and responsive. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, our guide Festo was amazing. He was super friendly and humble, extremely accommodating, very very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and cultural experiences we saw and had, and shared a lot of his personal story with us which allowed us to learn a great deal about what life in Tanzania must be like. The safari itself was top notch. Every day, every park, every experience, exceeded our expectations. We saw multiples of all the big five - Festo always seemed to know where to go to find the animals. We even saw a couple animals that he had never seen in his 10 years as a guide. We saw mamas and babies, mating pairs, tons of birds, and had some close encounters with lions, leopards, and lots of elephants. All in all we encountered more than 90 species in 10 days.
Festo cleaned the Land Cruiser every day and kept it well stocked with water, soda, and beer. Throughout our itinerary, Festo was a great communicator and let us set the agenda and make decisions, but gave excellent guidance and recommendations as well. We were out early all but one day and because of this saw some things that others might not have seen who started their days later. The number one highlight for us was to witness a crossing of the Great Migration at the Mara River. A couple thousand wildebeest swimming across the dangerous river and mounting the bank right in front of us and stampeding past the line of Landcruisers - truly a spectacle to behold. And we only got to see it because of the recommendation, expertise, and patience of our guide.
The accommodations were all top tier- clean comfortable friendly and great foods - our favorites were the remote camps which we spent 5 nights in 3 camps. Intimate Camp Zebra was a truly great experience. Kanbi Yo Tembo was another great lodging with unbelievable friendly hosts, great food, and unreal views.
We travel alot as a family and thanks to the team at African Big Cats this was absolutely one of the best experiences of our lives. Highly recommended.

Great tour- good value for money
5/5

The tour is great and covers interesting places. It is well organised. Silence and Oscar were very helpful and available for any questions we had. We also booked few extra activities before and during our stay, which was easily organised. Our driver Francis was polite and friendly. We were on a budget tour and we liked the campsites at Victoria falls, Elephants Sands and Okavango delta basic bush camp. The opportunity for improvements would be to choose nicer camp near Chobe.
During safari in Chobe se saw a lot of animals, highlight was elephants crossing the river. Safari in Okavango delta was special, far away from civilisations, the campsite was very nice and the cooks prepared delicious food. Walking safari is also special experience. We think this tour provides excellent value for money for visiting Victoria falls, Chobe and Okavango delta.

We saw EVERYTHING!
5/5

On our safari we started in Maun then traveled through Moremi Game Reserve and then to Chobe National park. We went on the 9 day Basic camping safari. Our safari guide (Jamie) was excellent. We saw every animal possible: cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, kudu, impala, honey badgers, hyenas, zebra, hippos, crocodiles, springbok, wild dogs, water buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, loads of birds. The food was good and plentiful. Communication with Travel Creations was simple and easy. All in all the trip was worth every cent we spent.

Great communication in coordinating our tour with Rose, even better guide Geoffrey
5/5

Rose (our travel coordinator) was very responsive and communicative from the beginning when we started planning our trip, which I really appreciate

Geoffrey (our safari guide) did a wonderful job ensuring that my friend and I are comfortable throughout our tour, and made sure to ask what start time we are comfortable with for the following day every evening. He is an excellent and highly skilled driver who is quick witted—he had kindly offered help to another safari guide (after getting our agreement of course), who had found himself stranded as his vehicle was stuck in mud. In the course of assistance, our vehicle had gotten stuck too but instead of giving up Geoffrey then walked to the nearest tree to get some dried twigs and leaves to help maneuver our vehicle out of the mud, which he successfully did in due course! This incident also spoke to Geoffrey’s character as he offered help with no hesitation.

Most importantly, Geoffrey’s eagle eyed vision has helped us encounter so many animals during our tour! This is such a crucial aspect of one’s safari tour, and the skills of a guide can vary greatly — in this case we really lucked out!

Accommodations arranged by Camptrek was fine — but our first stop at Eliata Bush Camp could have been arranged better by offering my friend and I separate rooms, or a family room, for example, given that the room was quite small and it wasn’t the most comfortable to have 2 people and 2 luggages in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Enkorok Mara Camp, which was a luxury camping experience. The other 2 accommodations we had were fine — comfortable enough stays in hotels. All accommodations served excellent meals and we met very kind and hospitable staff everywhere, which is something I really appreciate in Kenya!

Overall, I’m happy with the safari for the price paid!

Such a great value for the price paid
5/5

My friend and I went to a Kenya 7 days safari in September 2023 and couldn't have made a better choice.
We saw in the reviews and saw that they offered a very good value for what it seems a great safari, so we were a little concerned before we went. Now i can say that the reviews were totally true. Without forgetting that we were in Africa (and, you know what they say: "this is Africa!"), the service, treatment and care we had during our week was awesome. They never left us alone, without guidance or support. We felt safe all the time. Moises was the best tour guide ever! Thanks to him and his expertise, we saw an amazing amount of animals and very close.
To be fair and transparent with you all and the agency, the weak point was the meals. Every day was exactly the same food and there were not a lot of variation.
We would chose again Jocky with no doubt.

A visit to Tanzania with family in July 2025
5/5

We travelled to Tanzania for a 11-day/10-night safari including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We went on our Safari through Lion King. We want to share our whole experience.

Itinerary

I worked with Gordon Fischer to come up with an itinerary that we liked. The whole planning experience was so smooth and interactive. I live in the US, which has a different timezone than TZ. Despite time differences, I could communicate with Gordon at any time. I wanted a very specific itinerary with specific accommodations. Gordon customized the itinerary to include all those, reaching out to the specific camps to confirm they have what we wanted, and changed the itinerary multiple times until we were satisfied. We had to change the schedule a couple of times due to unforeseen events, and he was accommodative of all of that. It was a pleasure to work with him!

Transportation and Accomodation

The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, carrying 4 people and luggages all the time. The accommodations were top notch, except for a couple of camps that were very basic. In general, the lodges, glamps and camps were clean and served great food. They were very entertaining in the evenings with special performances.

Guide/Driver

We had Benjamin as our guide and driver for the whole 11-day trip. We couldn’t have gotten a better person to guide us. Our 2 main requirements were vegetarian food and ability to photograph wild-life. Benjamin ensured that we got fresh cooked food in containers (not packed sandwiches) with a fresh supply of vegetables and fruits. He ensured that the lunch was picnic-caliber and a good break from day-long travelling. But the most important quality of his that we appreciated most was his ability to spot the animals we were looking for, ensure that we see them and photograph them and have patience to allow us to get the best pictures. We remember him busting a couple of other guides who showed water buffaloes as Rhinos to their clients. Ultimately, he did find the real Rhinos and shared the location with others. His knowledge of all the locations is so immense that he drove for hours to show us a Lion Pride containing 19 lions which were so hard to spot in the vast Serengeti. He loved the kids and the kids loved him so much. Their interaction was fun to watch.

To summarize, we couldn’t have asked for a better location, better tour operator and a better guide to etch a great chapter in our memory book!
