Andrew was amazing!
Andrew was really flexible and made us feel at ease and safe. He did his absolute best to provide us with a great trip and absolutely delivered! We asked a bunch of questions about the different animals we saw and he went the extra mile to ensure we saw the Big 5!

Amazing safari experience
Aiming for Big five and river crossing, we joined a 8D7N safari to Kenya and Tanzania in late July 2026, visiting Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Amboseli. With the help of Jimmy, a friendly and experienced guide we met in first few days in Kenya, we already saw Big five in the first two days! He had excellent driving skills and always took us to best observing sites. By a full-day game drive in Masai Mara, we saw the migration of a huge group of wildebeests and almost saw river-crossing! (The wildebeests attempted multiple times and suddenly left the riverside…) In Tanzania, we was guided by Abuu, who is a knowledgeable cat-lover, to meet a dozen of lions and several cheetahs/ leopard. He could even lead us to exclusive spot for lion, that the lions were within reach and we were away from the crowds! In our last two days in Kenya, Stephen guided us to Amboseli and showed us a huge family of elephants. He was so smart that he could predict the route of elephants. Dozens of elephants crossed the road just in front of us, leading to the end of our journey. Finally, thanks to Rodah for planning this perfect itinerary. The balloon experience in Masai Mara is amazing, with wildebeests and zebras everywhere. We had a really enjoyable time in Africa!

Exceptional 11-Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari with Seamless, Personalized Service
Our 11-day journey through Kenya and Tanzania with Colours Africa Tours was truly exceptional. From our arrival to our departure, the entire trip was carefully coordinated, allowing us to relax and enjoy every part of the experience without worrying about transportation, reservations, or other arrangements.
During the trip, five different drivers assisted us with airport pickups, safari transportation, and the border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania. Each transition was handled professionally, and everything connected smoothly from one destination to the next.
Our safari guides—Dickson, Benson, and Richard—were fantastic. Their knowledge, experience, and dedication made a huge difference throughout the trip. They always did their best to position us for great wildlife sightings, and we were fortunate to see an incredible range of animals in several national parks, including many unforgettable encounters at very close distances.
Another thing we greatly appreciated was how much the company handled on our behalf. They personally arranged the bookings for our accommodations, transportation, and attractions, so we did not have to contact different places or manage the reservations ourselves. Once everything was confirmed, we simply made the required payments and followed the itinerary.
The team was also extremely accommodating when we decided to make a last-minute change on our final day in Nairobi. They helped arrange a visit to the Kenya National Museum, followed by dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. This additional final-day tour was not part of our original itinerary, yet Colours Africa Tours did not charge us any extra agency or arrangement fee. We only paid the actual costs of the attractions and activities, while their team took care of organizing the bookings for us.
That final day became a wonderful conclusion to an already remarkable adventure. We are very grateful to everyone at Colours Africa Tours for their excellent service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. We would gladly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya and Tanzania.

Great Safari Experience, but Issues with Transfers and Accommodation Standards
We had one major dispute with the agent.
While we knew budget accommodation was included in part of the itinerary(We offered Mid-range), the assigned room had an unpleasant odor and offered zero noise isolation, making outside noise clearly audible. Although they eventually offered an alternative option but the transfer from Arusha to Nairobi on that day turned out to be a shared local shuttle bus that they provide for us which was the way more far from a private experience.. It was disappointing as it felt like their standard for "Mid-range" differed significantly from ours.
Pros:
・Staying at Great Lodges in Kenya and part of Tanzania for an unbeatable price considering it was a mid-range package.
We stayed :
Jambo Mara Safari Lodge / Sarova Woodlands Hotel and Spa / Amboseli Sopa Lodge
The Charity Hotel International / Shuhudia Camp / Hhando Coffee Lodge / Tulia Hotel & Spa
・Communication via WhatsApp was generally very prompt and responsive.
・The driver and chef we met in Tanzania were both perfectly wonderful. Going on safari with them created unforgettable memories for us.
Cons:
・The transfer vehicles picking us up from the hotels had ridiculously loud music and a strong perfume odor.
・Since it was a group tour, the passengers in our safari vehicle changed every day during the Kenya portion. Traveling alongside people with completely different age groups and trip objectives meant we occasionally forced to share the ride with people whose personalities didn't quite mesh with ours (though usually only for two days at most).
Overall, the safari experience itself was very enjoyable. But the driver in Kenya was quite rough in their driving and caused us to miss some key viewing opportunities, like Animals with Kilimanjaro view which really highlighted just how crucial a driver-guide's personality and expertise are☺️

Lion King are friendly, professional, and created an unforgettable safari experience
We had an amazing time with Lion King Adventures! From the first message, the communication was easy and quick, and the team was always helpful whenever we had questions.
The whole safari was really well organized, and everything went smoothly. Our guide, Saleh, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and great at spotting wildlife. He shared so much interesting information throughout the trip and made every game drive enjoyable. We saw so many incredible animals and learned a lot along the way.
One of the things that really stood out to us was the warmth of the people we met. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and you could really see how proud they are of their country, culture, and wildlife. Their passion for sharing Tanzania with visitors made the experience even more special.
Traveling with our 16- and 11-year-olds, we really appreciated how enjoyable and engaging the experience was for the whole family. Saleh was wonderful with the kids, making sure they were involved, answering all of their questions, and helping create memories we’ll all cherish.
I would definitely recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. It was an unforgettable trip, and we’d happily book with them again!
