Well-organized safari trip by a great company
*Booking*
We were looking for a safari company in Kenya for our honeymoon, and Splendid Vacations Africa offered us the most complete and detailed proposal. Maryann Lucky assisted us with great patience, helping us choose the best hotels and advising us on the most suitable itinerary.
Our route, starting from Nairobi:
- Amboseli (2 nights)
- Naivasha (1 night)
- Crescent Island → Nakuru (1 night)
- Masai Mara (3 nights)
*Payment*
The payment was made online in advance via Pesapal, with no extra fees, which was very convenient for us. Maryann promptly provided a receipt, and we didn’t need to present any documentation at the camps or lodges.
*Vehicle*
We chose the private 4x4 Land Cruiser option. The vehicle was in good condition and very comfortable throughout the safari. It was thoroughly cleaned twice during the trip, which we appreciated.
*Guide*
We requested a Spanish-speaking guide for our comfort, and that was arranged. Alex Masila, our assigned guide, had over 10 years of experience and navigated the parks with confidence. He also had good connections with other guides, which was helpful during wildlife sightings.
However, we felt that his attitude was rude at times. While we managed to see the Big Five and benefited from his expertise, he scheduled shorter safari times than other couples we met, which was a bit disappointing. This aspect kept our experience from being truly 5-star.

Beyond our expectations
We recently went on a safari with Axis Africa Safaris, and I can wholeheartedly say it was an unforgettable experience — thanks in large part to our amazing guide, Yasin.
From the very beginning, Yasin made us feel safe, welcome, and well taken care of. His deep knowledge of the wildlife and landscape, along with his sharp eye for spotting animals, made every game drive exciting and full of discoveries. But what truly set Yasin apart wasn’t just his expertise — it was his kindness, patience, and genuine care for each one of us. He went above and beyond every single day to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying ourselves.
Yasin is not only an excellent guide — he is, above all, a wonderful human being, and we feel so lucky to have had him lead our safari adventure.

We had an amazing one-week safari in Kenya! Our driver wasn’t very talkative, but he always knew exactly where to find every animal — it was incredible. You could tell he really cared that we got to see as much as possible, and his knowledge of the parks and wildlife made the experience unforgettable. Thanks to him, we spotted all the Big Five and so much more. A truly memorable adventure!

Traveling with Reimistar Safaris was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Very good operator.
We recently returned from an incredible safari with Serengeti Silence, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation we had. From start to finish, everything was seamless, professional, and unforgettable. Emmy from the office did excellent Job, I appreciate her.
Our guide, Godbless, was truly outstanding. His deep knowledge of the Serengeti ecosystem and uncanny ability to spot wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw more animals than we ever imagined including the Great Migration in the Northern Serengeti, which was the main reason for our trip. Witnessing the herds crossing the Mara River was emotional and awe-inspiring, and we owe that life-changing experience to Godbless's timing and expertise.
In terms of accommodation, both camps we stayed at were amazing, but two stood out as our absolute favorites:
Sero Mara Camp in the Northern Serengeti – perfectly located for the migration, beautifully set up, with warm hospitality and stunning views.
Classic View Camp in Central Serengeti – intimate, cozy, and incredibly scenic, with excellent food and service. It felt like the heart of the Serengeti.
We can't recommend Serengeti Silence highly enough. The combination of superb guiding, thoughtful planning, and breathtaking nature made this a once in a lifetime experience. We left with full hearts, incredible photos, and memories we’ll cherish forever.

Incredible
I had an incredible experience with Porpucine Safaris in Tanzania. This is a local family-run company that truly cares about the people they host — you feel right away that you’re more than just a client.
Our guide, Anwar, completely transformed the safari. With over 30 years of experience, his knowledge of wildlife and nature felt endless. He’s passionate, always eager to share what he knows, and also very attentive to vehicle maintenance — which is absolutely essential in places like Serengeti.
During the trip, I had some health issues and was supposed to stay in a tent, but they arranged for me to sleep in a lodge instead, without charging me extra. In the condition I was in, that was priceless. The next morning, I even forgot my raincoat at the lodge, and although we were already 4 hours away, the manager from Porpucine made every effort to try and recover it. Their care and attention to detail truly stood out.
I highly recommend Porpucine Safaris to anyone looking for an authentic safari experience, guided by people who are passionate about their work and genuinely care for their guests.

Perfect - no more words needed.
It was an awesome experience - great service, perfect communication and organization. Daniela from Afromaxx did an amazing job in planning our individual family tour through Tarangire, Mayanara and Serengeti with best value for money. The camps were breathtaking, the staff excellent and the food delicious. Our guide Oscar was not only extremely sensitive to our needs but also very knowledgable about wildlife. We learned a lot about flora, fauna and the life of the Massei from him. Not only did we see the Big 5 but witnessed also very special moments such as lions hunting a buffalo because Oscar was very attentive while driving. Best trip of our life - and we've travelled a lot. Already planning our next Africa trip. Again with Afromaxx.

Best touroperator for a safari
We had such an amazing experience with Mountain Warriors Tours. Ruth arranged everything so good She responded very quickly to all our questions and even changed a hotel on our request.
And than our guide, King Regnald. We can not thank him enough for making our safari unforgetable. Het made sure we got to see as many animals as possible. He made sure we had everthing we needed. Stops on our way to use a washroom or stretch our legs. He knows so much about the animals and we learned alot about live in Tanzania.
The whole safari was a dream come True. It is money very well spend. You get so much value for your money. All the places we stayed are beautiful and the food was so tastefull. The lunches were so good.
We cannot recomend Mountain Wariior Tours enough. You will have the best time ever. Especially if King Regnald is your guide. He is the best.

Wonderful experience
We had an amazing safari experience in Kenya! Damaris was incredibly helpful and professional from the very beginning, making all the arrangements smooth and worry-free. Our driver and guide, Mramba, was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we had the best game viewing opportunities. The wildlife sightings and overall experience were unforgettable.
