In Tanzania, our guide Jackson took things to another level. He seemed to do the impossible to help us experience and truly feel the real Africa, always while respecting nature and the animals. He is warm, positive, incredibly knowledgeable, and one of the best professionals I have ever encountered in this field.
Jackson knew all the little details and tricks about where and how to find different animals without disturbing them. Thanks to his experience and dedication, we were able to have some truly unforgettable experiences.

Incredible tour operator and tour guide
We organised a three day trip with Umurage Eco safaris and from initial contact, to the end of the tour was perfect. Jophride's commitment to ensuring that everyone has the best tour possible is incredible. He is a passionate, kind, funny, organised and engaging tour guide. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In our short visit we were able to go Gorilla trekking, see the golden monkeys, and see some of Kigali, including the genocide museum. I would definitely use Umurage Eco Safaris for my next trip to Rwanda.

Fantastic to work with, Wonderful experience
This was an absolutely fantastic experience. I highly recommend this company. We did a 3 day gorilla and golden monkey tour. We also went to the Rwanda genocide Memorial, Ellen DeGeneres/ Diana Fossi education center, and the gorilla guardians cultural center. Hermosa was so well organized and communication was seamless. We had last minute flight delays and changes, they were easy to communicate with and flexible with the changes. Victoria made sure everything was taken care of for us. They took amazing care of us from the time that we arrived at the airport until we left at the end of the trip. Our driver Abou was amazing. Handoffs between him and the guides were easy. We were never confused about where we were or left alone to find our own way. They got the gorilla tracking license for us. We stayed at the Ingagi resort which was absolutely beautiful. The staff were so friendly and knew our names. All meals were included and they even gave us snacks to take on our hikes. When we returned to the resort after hiking to the gorillas, the staff took our gators and hike shoes and cleaned them for us! The entire experience was five stars! I would use this company again, and I highly recommend them. Rwanda was very safe in our experience and beautiful.

Secondly, the toor guide. They are friendly and gives us a wonderful experience. They are doing their best to make us happy and enjoying the adventure, and giving many information about the animals. And all questions related to the animals they have the answers, which we like a lot. Especially, Mr. Ismaeel and Ramadan.
I would recommend Makini and I will choose Makini again if I’ll go to Tanzania in the future.

5 days safari trip was amazing, unforgettable experience.
We really enjoyed 5 days safari trip organized by Julius. We visited Masai Mara, Amboselli park and Tsavo East, saw a lot of fantastic animals just few meters from us, could observe their natural behaviour. It was perfect experience for us. We would like to thank tou our driver and guide Charles, who was excellent and very helpful. Everthing what we agreed on was kept. We definitely recommend it.
