All expectations were exceeded
We went to Botswana in August 2026 and were curious and also a bit nervous as it was our first trip organised by a travel agency and not by ourselves. However, there was no need to be nervous at all. We had a few different drivers and guides, all of them were helpful and friendly at all times. When we had questions, we could always reach out to somebody at any time. Furthermore, the tour was just fantastic and we gained a wonderful insight into Botswana (and also Simbabwe). Thank you once again for this experience, we well never forget it.

Excellent planning, superb guides, and a truly memorable safari experience.
Our 3-day Masai Mara safari booked through Axis Africa was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Working with Jackline during the planning process was a pleasure. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and responsive, answering all of our questions and managing every detail flawlessly.
Our guide, Kelvin Njamia, made this trip truly unforgettable. Kelvin is passionate about the Masai Mara, incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem, and dedicated to providing the best possible experience. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, and so much more than we anticipated. It was amazing to witness so many animals living their lives freely across the beautiful savannah.
One of the best decisions we made was booking a private safari. While it costs a bit more, it was absolutely worth it. We were able to decide how we wanted to spend our time, stay longer at sightings that interested us, and enjoy every game drive at our own pace. Being able to experience everything from the comfort of our own vehicle made the safari even more enjoyable and personalized.
We stayed at Mara Chui Lodge, which was a great base for our adventure.
We are so grateful to Jackline for organizing everything perfectly and especially to Kelvin for sharing his passion and helping us experience the very best of the Masai Mara. We will be recommending Axis Africa, Jackline, and Kelvin to all our friends and family. If you're considering a safari, don't hesitate to book with them!

Great last-minute Tsavo East safari experience
We had a fantastic time with Steve’s driver and guide, Ali. Steve made sure we had the best possible experience in Tsavo East and even managed to arrange a last-minute overnight stay for our group of four at a hotel close to Voi Gate.
During the safari, we got to see four out of the Big Five, as well as many other amazing animals. Ali is a very friendly and funny guide, and you can ask him anything. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or let him know your preferences—he’ll do his best to make it happen!

An unforgettable Tanzania safari - perfect in every detail!
We couldn't have asked for a better safari experience than the one Nkollo Tours put together for us. From planning to the very last game drive, everything was seamless.
Mercy, who organised our trip, was exceptional from start to finish. Her suggestions and choices of accommodation were spot-on, she replied to every message promptly, and she was endlessly helpful, patiently answering questions well beyond what you'd normally expect from a trip organiser. We particularly want to highlight her recommendation of two Serengeti lodges: Misako Mara Tented Camp, and especially Tokaone Central Serengeti Camp, which were both superb choices we wouldn't have found on our own.
Our driver and safari guide, Richard, was simply outstanding. He drove brilliantly, was clearly respectful of the animals and the environment - something we noticed wasn't always the case with other operators' vehicles we saw out there - and had a real gift for spotting wildlife and getting us away from the crowds whenever he could. He was punctual every single day and kept everything running smoothly. We genuinely couldn't have imagined a better guide.
One more thing that deserves real credit: Nkollo's approach to lunches. They served delicious, local food with no plastic or cardboard packaging, which made a noticeable difference compared to other companies we saw on the road - a small thing that says a lot about how seriously they take sustainability.
All round, a beautifully organised, sustainable, and genuinely incredible safari. Highly recommend Nkollo Tours, and especially ask for Mercy and Richard.

I went on a safari for my honeymoon and it was nothing short of incredible. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Our guide Steve is incredibly knowledgeable about the animals, people, and culture. It has been such a great experience all around!

Very organized and attentive
Axis Africa is a very organized company; the prices are fair and their are very clear on the communication since the beggining, specially Rita. Everyone speaks english well, and they actively try to help solve all issues you may find. I got a 4 days Masai Mara only tour, and the guides George and Mohamed were both very good at their job. They are highly communicative with the other guides and are extremely used to the park, so can quickly hop on a good spot. I could see almost all animals you can find on the park (including lions, cheetah and leopards). The budget camp is - indeed - not luxury, nevertheless it was clean, secure and the food was good. The only thing to notice is that on the small packages with shared game drives you will be focoused on viewing as much animals as possible, and not on seeing action and spotting the animals yourself - which is understandable. Overall, I highly recommend the company.

Muli was an incredible guide and truly made our Tanzania safari unforgettable. His knowledge of the wildlife, the parks, and the local culture added so much to the experience, and his patience, kindness, and sense of humor made every day enjoyable.
He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and having a great time, and he even helped make my birthday extra special with thoughtful surprises that meant a lot to us. I had a chance to experience a surprise birthday party with the warm staff at Classic View Lodge and the Maasai arranged by Muli and it truly is a moment I will never forget.
By the end of the safari, Muli felt less like a guide and more like family. If you have the opportunity to safari with him, you are in excellent hands.
