Unforgettable 5-Day Safari – Incredible Wildlife & Exceptional Service
We booked a 5-day private safari through Tarangire, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, and it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our trip to Tanzania.
From day one, the organization was seamless. Having a private 4x4 cruiser allowed us to set our own pace, stay as long as we wanted at sightings, and fully immerse ourselves in the landscape. The accommodations—from the lovely lodge in Karatu to the authentic tented bush camps inside the Serengeti—were comfortable, clean, and provided delicious food throughout the tour.
The wildlife viewings completely blew us away. Thanks to our guide’s incredible tracking instincts and sharp eye, we managed to see the entire Big Five. We encountered massive elephant herds, dozens of lions, and rare rhinos. The defining highlight happened when a leopard calmly walked merely two meters right in front of our vehicle—a breathtaking moment we will never forget!
Our guide was outstanding: deeply knowledgeable about animal behavior, patient, and an exceptionally skilled driver on challenging terrain. Everything from airport transfers to picnic lunches in the bush was executed professionally.
We could not be happier with our experience and wholeheartedly recommend this operator to anyone looking for a bucket-list safari in Tanzania. Asante sana for memories that will last a lifetime!

Amazing experience at Masai Mara with Sam
Thank you to our safari tour guide and driver Sam for making this an unforgettable experience. Sam was respectful, courteous, and very knowledgeable about all the animals. He drove very gently and safely and he was always punctual and patient. He got great positioning in the jeep for us to get amazing photos of many animals including lions and giraffes, and cheetahs.
Sam went above and beyond throughout the trip, but especially on our last day. He took us to the giraffe centre and helped us grab lunch before dropping us at the hotel.
During the booking process, Maggie was also very responsive and helpful with all questions we had.
We had 1 full day in the Masai Mara, but I’d recommend travelers 2. It is worth it, especially with all the driving to get there.
I 100% recommend Bison and Sam for a Safari. Thanks for the amazing wildlife experience!

Did not manage to book the agreed hotel, old car, lose half a day of safari due to poor management of the flights.

Our guide, Musa did execute his work as he had documented it. He kept time, and we also didnt disappoint him. Day 1 we went to the Rhino sanctuary, saw the Rhinos and later set out to the Murchison National Park. Saw the water falls and headed to the Bamboo village resort, we did swim in the evening as it was too hot and after a long day. 2nd day we did a game drive & boat cruise and we saw the leopard, giraffe, elephants, crested crane, crocodile, baboons, hippopotamus.
Musa kept teaching us throughout the journey, communication was top notch, service was good and we did get value for money.
Finally on the last day, he took us through Bulisa and we witnessed the oil sites, came through Hoima and we also witnessed the home city stadium.
It was indeed a nice experience, it was a family tour and the kids really enjoyed the trip.

Great experience
I had a great safari experience with Mustafa as my guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very patient throughout the trip. He knew the Serengeti very well and was always happy to explain the animals and the environment.
As I was travelling on my own, I really appreciated how attentive and considerate he was. He made me feel comfortable and made sure I had a great experience. I saw many amazing animals and really enjoyed the safari.
