We had a three days Safari (starting in serengeti - from seronara airport - which I strongly recommend). The first day we saw four of the big five animals already! What a wonderful experience! A special word of thanks to our guide, Ezekiel. He was able to tell us a lot about the animal behavior and a lot as well regarding vegetation and the serengeti and Ngorongoro. He guided us to a Cheetah with four cubs, big lions families, leopards and so much more! Ezekiel was very entertaining, nice company for our three days. And what about the company? Very helpful and super quick in responding. We had questions before, during and after the Safari tour: and they were with is all the way. Example: One of us left here eye glasses on the Jeep. We realized this when we were back in Zanzibar; too late! But the Tour oparator, Nuhu, fixed the problem! The glasses arrived just in time at Zanzibar airport, so we went back home, extremely satisfied. With Setengeti Precious Safaris you will be assured of a unique experience!!

Solo female safari trip
My 5-day safari tour with Rogers was compact yet fulfilling! We saw all of Big 5, and many more animals. Rogers was very patient and gave me a lot of reassurance. I am a solo female traveller on this trip so he made sure that safety was the top priority here. We had a lot of fun, and I would do it again!

An unforgettable safari experience with Savannah Woods Safaris
Our experience with Savannah Woods Safaris was incredible and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, Lucy was extremely responsive, patient and helpful, answering all our questions quickly and understanding exactly what we were looking for.
Our guide, Sam, was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and the parks, and we learned so much from him, not only about the animals, but also about Kenyan culture and the different communities. He clearly loves what he does and made a huge effort to understand our priorities in each park and adapt to our wishes.
The game drives were unforgettable. We visited Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli, and had incredible sightings, including a leopard and a black rhino in Maasai Mara, as well as both white and black rhinos in Lake Nakuru. Sam’s knowledge of the parks and animals was impressive, and he always knew where to go while keeping our preferences in mind.
The 4x4 Land Cruiser was comfortable and in very good condition, and everything was perfectly organized and punctual throughout the safari.
We would 100% recommend Savannah Woods Safaris to anyone looking for a safari in Kenya, whether it’s your first safari, a couple’s trip, or a safari combined with other activities. We would absolutely book with them again.

Amazing
This was one of the best trips of my life all thanks to Issa and Suma! We saw so many animals! Suma got us so close to them even with so many cars! Issa was so patient with all my questions and accommodating my requests! The food was the best we’ve had on any trip also! The accommodations and people everywhere were so sweet! I looked at over 15-30 different companies and it can be overwhelming. It’s also easier to go with a more established company but don’t be fooled by Goldfinch! They helped curate a once in a lifetime trip!

An Exceptional Guide — Richard Made Our Tanzania Safari Unforgettable
I recently spent a week on safari in Tanzania with Richard as our private guide, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. Richard was a huge part of what made this one of the best trips we have ever taken.
From the very beginning, Richard was professional, friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. His ability to spot wildlife was amazing — many times he would see something in the distance that we never would have noticed on our own. Even more impressive was his knowledge of the animals, birds, their behavior, and the areas we traveled through. He didn’t just drive us from one sighting to another; he helped us understand what we were seeing and made the entire safari more interesting.
Richard also seemed to have an instinct for knowing where to go and when to go there. On safari, that can make all the difference. He worked hard every day to give us the best possible experience and never made us feel rushed. If something interesting was happening, we stayed. If we wanted to stop for photographs or simply sit and watch the animals, we did. The trip felt like our safari rather than a rigid schedule we had to follow.
Just as important, after spending an entire week together, Richard felt much more like a friend than simply our guide. He has a wonderful personality, is easy to talk with, and genuinely cares about the people he is guiding. We laughed a lot, learned a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed spending our days with him.
I have traveled quite a bit, and I know the difference between someone who is simply doing their job and someone who takes real pride in making sure his guests have an extraordinary experience. Richard is absolutely the latter.
In fact, we enjoyed the experience so much that I am already seriously considering returning to Tanzania in 2028 or 2029 with some of our adult children — and if we do, Richard is the person I want guiding us again. I think that probably says more than anything else I could write.
If you are considering a safari I strongly recommend Tanzania Memories Tours & Safaris, I also would recommend asking for Richard. Tanzania itself is spectacular, but having the right guide can turn a great safari into an unforgettable one.
