Incredible!

I would highly recommend African big cats safari’s! They helped us plan our wedding (surrounded by animals) and our honeymoon. Everything was super smooth. We had our absolute dream wedding and honeymoon on safari and in Zanzibar. We are sincerely grateful for their assistance. Super nice people! :)

Great experience
5/5

We had the most incredible 3 days in the Masai Mara with James and Saddam from Sunny Screek Safaris, and honestly, they're a huge part of why this trip will stay with us forever!

From the moment they picked us up at Nairobi airport to the moment they dropped us back, we felt completely looked after. They were thoughtful, warm, and so genuinely kind. It never felt like just a job to them; they truly wanted us to have the best time.

James worked tirelessly to find the best sightings and shared so much about the animals and their behaviour. We learned more than we ever expected, and his passion for wildlife was contagious. Saddam had a real gift for positioning the vehicle in exactly the right spot, so every sighting gave us the clearest, closest view possible.

And the bush breakfasts every morning! They organised them with so much care. Eating out in the open with the Mara waking up around us is a memory we'll treasure.

They were patient with all our questions, always smiling, and just lovely to be around. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. Thank you, James and Saddam, for making our safari so special. We'd recommend you to anyone in a heartbeat! 🦁

Had the best time with James and Saddam. They went above and beyond to ensure we saw all the varied wildlife and had the best view as well. Great driving by Saddam who got us a prime spot for leopard viewing

Exceptional Safari with an Outstanding Guide, Alex!
5/5

We had an unforgettable safari with Green Places Adventures. From the start, communication was smooth and professional, and everything was well organized and reliable. Our guide, Alex, was simply outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and passionate. Thanks to him, we enjoyed incredible wildlife sightings and learned so much about the landscapes and culture. Great value for money and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

It was simply wonderful, exciting, and fun.

The Safehands guides were all very dedicated to making the most of the tour and ensuring we saw as many animals as possible. The itinerary—starting with Tarangire, then Ngorongoro, followed by two days in the Serengeti, and finally Lake Manyara—was perfect for us; we were able to spot a huge number of animals right away in Tarangire before the long journey to the Serengeti began. In the Serengeti, we experienced both a sunset and a sunrise, complete with spectacular skies, wildlife, and even hot-air balloons on the horizon. There was always plenty of food and drink, catering to everyone’s tastes—from meat dishes to vegetarian options. The accommodations were also ideally located, placing us right in the heart of the action. Everyone was incredibly warm and helpful, always up for a friendly chat. The Fig Tree Lodge Camp stood out for its warmth and charm; guests are greeted with a lovely song-and-dance performance upon arrival and receive a friendly welcome from the head chef in the evening. All in all, it was a truly wonderful and unforgettable trip. While not everything was absolutely perfect, that isn't necessary on a journey involving camping in the African savanna. A huge thank you to the team for making this happen day after day and for always staying "pole pole" (relaxed and unhurried), even when hitches occurred. Hakuna Matata.

Wonderful Experience from Start to Finish
5/5

As someone who isn’t usually a fan of organised tours, I was initially a little nervous about booking this safari. However, Axis Africa exceeded our expectations from start to finish and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

Tabitha, our initial contact, was easy to communicate with and always available on WhatsApp to answer our questions quickly. Then, when we arrived, our guide Yassin was exceptional. He worked incredibly hard to find unique wildlife sightings away from the crowds and other vehicles, which made the experience feel much more personal and special. Even though I grew up going on safaris, he managed to show me things I'd never seen before!

I had unfortunately sustained a back injury a few days before the safari, and Yassin went above and beyond to look after me, making a real effort to ensure I was comfortable throughout the trip. His care and thoughtfulness were genuinely appreciated.

In terms of the accommodation we stayed at, we particularly liked Lake Nakuru Lodge. The dinner we had there was delicious and the view of the lake was stunning. We wished we could have spent another day there relaxing by the pool!

All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Axis Africa. I would definitely trust them to arrange our future visits to East Africa.

Super attentive and friendly
4/5

Our experience with Nancy was amazing! She took care of all our needs including booking our train tickets to and from Nairobi for the 2nd half of our trip in Kenya. They were very patient and listened to our concerns prior to travel and reassured us of the plans.

Our assigned guide (Martin) was super! He's a great spotter in the Masai and was always on the lookout for animals. We got to see all animals except for Rhinos which was very difficult.

The accommodation was super! Everything was organised in a timely manner and they gave me the option of 2 places to stay at.

We also took the village trip, although not much to see so I wouldn't repeat that.

Overall, amazing trip in the wild with great company and in good hands. Definetly recommend the Safari. The only thing I would change is make our Safari longer, we booked 3 days so we only had 1 full day drive

excellent experience of safari
5/5

The overall experience was very good. Simon, who handled the initial coordination, was very patient and easy to communicate with. We originally wanted to book Kibo Amboseli, but it was unavailable. I asked him to keep an eye out for us, and in the end he actually secured it for us.

We were also very satisfied with the overall itinerary—it was relaxed but well-paced. The sopa lodges we stayed at in Naivasha and Nakuru during the first two days had a great environment, and the Naivasha hotel even had many small animals on its grounds. Those two days were also relatively easy. In Naivasha, I recommend the Crescent Island walking safari. During the two days in the Masai Mara, we saw so many animals—it was incredibly exciting. Here I want to praise our guide Kaku: she is extremely professional and can always spot hidden animals with her naked eye. I was really impressed. Kaku is humorous, caring, cheerful, communicative, and very proactive in her work. We really enjoyed doing safari with her.

Our time with Ken, the other guide, later in Amboseli was relatively short. I regret that we didn’t get a photo of elephants beneath Mount Kilimanjaro during the trip, but that gives us a reason to come back next time.
