Unforgettable safari trip with Kush and Jungleroam
5/5

We went on a 4-day safari through Jungleroam. Communication was flawless and quick with the office, they answered all of our questions before we went!

We had the pleasure of having Kush as our guide. I can HIGHLY recommend him as a guide. He delivered and delivered all the animals and things we wanted to see. He seems to know Maasai Mara throughout and his ability to spot animals from afar was amazing to see! He have lots of generel knowledge about everything and genuine love for the animals.
As a person, Kush is even better. We had many great laughs and great conversations. Kush made our whole experience even better than I could’ve imagined.

A Seamless Tanzanian Dream: 11 Days of Wildlife and Beach Paradise with Ozon Light Tours

Reviewed by: Jingjing Qin
Tour: 11-Day Wildlife Safari Experience & Beach Time in Zanzibar Island
Date: September 25 – October 5, 2026

When I first started planning my dream trip to Tanzania, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of tour operators. However, from the moment I received my custom-designed quote from Ozon Light Tours, I knew I was in good hands. The 11-day itinerary, which perfectly blended the thrill of a Northern Serengeti safari with the relaxation of Zanzibar’s beaches, exceeded every expectation. While the landscapes and wildlife were breathtaking, it was the human touch—specifically the outstanding support from Yohana and the tireless dedication of our guide and driver, Jovin—that truly made this trip unforgettable.

The Sales Experience: Yohana’s Professionalism and Care

Planning a trip from halfway across the world can be stressful, but Yohana made the entire process effortless. From our very first email exchange, Yohana was responsive, patient, and incredibly thorough. He understood exactly what I was looking for: a balance between the intense game drives of the Serengeti and the serene recovery time on the shores of Kendwa.

Yohana didn't just send a standard package; he tailored the itinerary to ensure we had the best possible experience. He patiently answered my countless questions about everything from visa requirements to the specifics of the hot air balloon ride. He was transparent about costs, inclusions, and exclusions, which built a foundation of trust. Even when I had last-minute queries regarding the domestic flight from Arusha to Zanzibar, Yohana handled it with grace and efficiency. His professionalism gave me complete peace of mind before I even set foot on African soil. He is a true asset to Ozon Light Tours, and his dedication to customer service is the reason I will recommend this company to all my friends and family.

The Safari Experience: Jovin, the Heart of the Journey

If Yohana was the architect of our trip, Jovin was the engine that drove it. Our guide and driver, Jovin, was nothing short of extraordinary. Over the course of 11 days, he did far more than just drive us from point A to point B. He was a guardian, a teacher, and a friend.

Jovin’s work ethic is unparalleled. I must specifically commend him for his tireless efforts and the long hours he put in. Waking up before dawn to ensure the vehicle was ready for the balloon safari, navigating the challenging, dusty roads of the Serengeti, and then ensuring we were safely settled into our lodges every evening—he never showed a moment of fatigue. His commitment to our safety and comfort was unwavering.

What stood out most was his incredible knowledge of the wildlife and his determination to give us the best sightings. Jovin has a sixth sense for the bush. On Day 4, in the Central Serengeti, he spotted a leopard lounging in a tree from what seemed like miles away. On Day 6, during our search for the Great Migration in the Northern Serengeti, his expert driving brought us right to the edge of the Mara River where we witnessed thousands of wildebeest crossing—a scene I will never forget. He knew exactly where to position the 4x4 Land Cruiser to give us the best photographic angles, always respecting the animals' space while ensuring we got the shot.

Attention to Detail and Genuine Care

Jovin’s assistance went beyond spotting animals. He was incredibly attentive to our personal needs. The vehicle was always stocked with unlimited drinking water and soft drinks, just as promised. He ensured the fridge in the jeep was always cold, a small luxury that made a huge difference in the heat. When we were at the Ngorongoro Crater, his knowledge of the terrain allowed us to see the critically endangered black rhino, something I had dreamed of.

Moreover, Jovin’s warm personality made the long drives enjoyable. He was patient with our endless questions about Tanzanian culture, the Maasai people, and the ecology of the parks. He also went out of his way to help us communicate with the local staff at the lodges, ensuring our dietary preferences were met.

The Itinerary and Highlights

The itinerary itself was flawless. The accommodations, from Kia Lodge near Kilimanjaro Airport to the luxurious Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, were comfortable and well-chosen. The transition from the bush to the beach was seamless. The domestic flight from Arusha to Zanzibar saved us a grueling drive, allowing us to maximize our time relaxing at Kendwa Rocks Beach Hotel.

The hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti was a bucket-list moment. Drifting over the savannah as the sun rose, seeing elephants and giraffes from above, was magical. And the final days in Zanzibar were the perfect way to decompress. The optional snorkeling and dolphin tour on Day 9, arranged by the team, was a delightful addition.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the 11-Day Wildlife Safari Experience & Beach Time in Zanzibar Island with Ozon Light Tours was a perfect 10/10 experience. It was a complex trip involving multiple parks, internal flights, and varying accommodation types, yet it ran like clockwork.

I cannot thank Yohana enough for his meticulous planning and his reassuring presence throughout the booking process. And to Jovin, thank you for your tireless work, your sharp eyes, and your kindness. You made the Serengeti feel like home. If you are looking for a safari operator who values integrity, expertise, and genuine hospitality, look no further than Ozon Light Tours. They have given me memories that will last a lifetime.

A Trip of a Lifetime with Meru Slopes
5/5

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris.
From the booking process to the end of our trip, everything was very well organized. Gift Tembo, who assisted us with our booking was responsible, responsive, and he took care of all our needs. All the logistics went smoothly, and several of our lodges had prepared special decorations for our honeymoon. These thoughtful touches made our trip even more memorable and personal.
A special thank-you to our driver-guide Rashid, who was excellent throughout the safari. He was highly experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. We worked really well together as a team, so that we were able to make the most of every day. Besides his expertise and understanding of the wildlife, he is also a very kind-hearted person, who's always ready to help anyone in need. Thanks to the wonderful teamwork, we were fortunate enough to witness a wildebeest river crossing, see all of the Big Five, and enjoy so many other incredible wildlife encounters.
Also a thank-you to Edson, who showed us great hospitality when we first arrived in Arusha, and planned for us a nice trip around Chemka and Matertuni Waterfalls.
I was a bit worried before leaving for the trip, cuz all the contact I had was with Gift. It was a relief to see Edson waiting for us at the aiport when we arrive, but it could be better if this information is provided beforehand. Luckily, everything turned out better than our expectations.
This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and Meru Slopes played a big part in making it so special. We would happily recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Excellent safari holiday with Ngoni
5/5

We had a very nice holiday in Uganda with Ngoni Safaris. Our tour guide Steven was amazing, very helpful and he knew a lot about the country and all the animals we encountered.
Before the trip we had good contact while finetuning the schedule and the places we would visit. And during the trip Steven took care of the schedule, we could sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday. The nature of the country is beautiful, and the tour we did across the different nature reserves was a good resemblance of that. We were amazed by all the animals in Murchison Falls, the gorilla tracking and the beautiful forest of Kibale.
