Great safari experience thanks to Victor!
Overall, we had a wonderful safari and are very happy with our trip. We are giving 5 stars primarily because of our driver and guide, Victor, who we highly recommend. He is knowledgeable, charismatic, and very engaging, and we truly loved spending time with him! He shared a lot of valuable information throughout the trip, always drove safely, and even helped us resolve an issue with our accommodation reservation. He really did everything possible to ensure we had a great experience, showing us all the animals with a fantastic attitude every day. Also, the lunches provided throughout the safari were always delicious!
A quick note regarding pre-trip organization for future travelers:
- Pre-trip Communication: After paying the deposit, office communication became quite sparse. We felt there was a lack of interest in tailoring specific requests— such as finding an authentic Maasai Boma that wasn't just a tourist trap.
- Final Details: A few days before departure, we still hadn't received details about the pickup schedule or final payment procedures, which caused unnecessary stress.
Lodge Locations: Ideally, route optimization is something you would expect the agency to manage seamlessly, but it is worth double-checking the location of your assigned lodges against the itinerary to avoid unnecessary extra driving time.
Despite these initial planning hurdles, the safari itself was fantastic once we were on the road, mainly thanks to Victor. We definitely recommend the experience!

A great safari, with a few bumps in the road (literally).
Mountain Warriors provided us with a memorable experience. We had the chance to see plenty of wildlife, enjoy long but worthwhile drives, and stay in accommodation ranging from good to excellent. Of particular note was our stay at the Warriors Luxury Tented Lodge! The staff were excellent and the food was by far the best we had during our tour. Our driver and guide, Victor, was great fun and handled things with good humour and professionalism. His insights greatly enhanced our experience.
One area in which the company could improve would be to communicate better after the booking has been confirmed. We had to actively ask for basic information that should have been provided.
Our main disappointment was the ‘upgrade’ from accommodation inside the Ngorongoro Crater to somewhere outside the park. The extra 2 hours driving time and later descent into the crater hardly felt like an upgrade. Thankfully, Victor helped us to rebook accommodation inside the park.
The visit to the Maasai village was less informative than we had hoped, and the focus on collecting reviews occasionally felt excessive. The company also overlooked our requests for a more authentic Maasai experience.
Overall, however, it was a very good safari, with fantastic wildlife, comfortable accommodation and an excellent driver and guide Victor.

In the early stages, Osnet Tours helped me with everything I needed, every detail, from finding accommodation that met my dietary requirements, to handling last-minute schedule changes and some luggage issues. Everything was treated as a high priority by the operator and resolved promptly (special thanks to Geofry!). They don’t just wait for you to select a safari package and pay, they genuinely care about you having a great time. The communication was smooth and fluid, which is something you really want when going on a safari on your own. It was an amazing experience, don’t second-guess it, just go for it!!!! I took the 5-day safari (I would have preferred the 7-day one, but my schedule wasn’t ideal). Osnet organized my accommodation at Emayian Luxury Camp, Lake Nakuru Lodge, and Naivasha Kongoni Lodge, and everything about those places was just great!! Our guide, Theno, accompanied us the entire way; he was a great guy, and we managed to see everything there was to see. The chef’s cooking was delicious, too. It was a trip that offered incredible value for money—highly recommended.

Reliable, very responsive, well organized tour operator, would highly recommend.
Everything was very well organised, we had a perfect honeymoon safari with Safari Soles! We were lucky to have Japhet as our safari guide - he was able to spot every animal we were interested in and he also had immense knowledge about the wildlife we were observing. There were also a list of birds I really wanted to see and it turned out Japhet was a fellow bird lover, so he was able to spot all of my favourite birds and many more that I haven't heard of! I would highly recommend him to anybody who is a bird enthusiast.

Quick trip to pilanesberg
Fabulous trip - very good value. We saw loads of wildlife even driving around in the middle of the day, which is the only option on a day trip from Jo’Burg. Well worth doing if you have a day to spare but not more time to go further a field of for longer. Lunch was nice, driver friendly. Remember to take cash for tips.

Just finished our 4 day safari with Suricata safaris, we have had an amazing time!
Our guide Steve has been absolutely brilliant, he’s been very professional, always asking if we were ok. He let us know from the start & continuously that nothing was too much to ask for. His knowledge of the animals is excellent and we managed to see the big 5!
All the lodges we stayed in have been excellent, very friendly staff, beautiful accommodation & gorgeous food. We highly recommend this company
