We first met our guide Hussein (chief of Nakra) in July 2021 during a two week Gorilla Safari (Kibale, Queens, Bwindi, Mugahinga, Mburo). Since he speaks a good German, we had very interesting conversations and got a deep inside in Ugandian life. Because of this very inspiring journey and our deep confidence and trust in his personality and professional skills we planned a second trip to Eastern Uganda in June 2022. Depending on our given budget, Hussein planned all accommodations, expenses and national parks. Although this region is not so touristic and still in some distress, Hussein was able to bring us near to local people and gave us a good and safe feeling in this special environment. Beside a wonderful countryside, we walked through eastern cities and villages and felt us always safe. The lovely and open minded attitude of Hussein to others and his unbelievable knowledge about nature, including birds, mammals etc and plants enriched our experience. Every day and every tour was well planned and the accommodations corresponded to the expenses of the tour, saying that the value was absolutely correct. We plan our next tour with him in 2027. Sorry that my English is not perfect, but I hope I could transmit that touring with Nakra was an unforgettable experience for us.

An unforgettable safari with Gerald! 🤩
I just finished an amazing 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
From Tarangire to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, every day brought incredible moments. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, flamingos and so many other animals. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations.
A special thank you to our guide, Gerald, who truly made this safari unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly and always happy to answer our questions. His passion for wildlife really shone through, and he made sure we enjoyed every moment. I was also really impressed by his driving skills, especially on some of the challenging roads we encountered!
Everything was well organised, the accommodations were lovely, and the whole team made us feel welcome.
A big thank you to Gerald, Jackson and the entire Suricata Safaris team! These five days will definitely remain one of my favourite travel memories. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Professionals from start to finish
We contacted Altezza on their webpage and quickly got a response and our own booking agent Rita. She came up with a Sample Itinerary that we changed around according to our needs and with her experience about the areas we wanted to visit. We booked 3 months before the tour and she answered all our small questions within 24 hours up until we were about to travel.
On the day of our flight we got contacted by Altezza support on Whats app and they were available for us throughout the whole trip with updates and answering questions within the hour.
Everything worked perfect with pick-up at the airport and transfer to our first lodge where we the next day was picked up by our guide for the Safari.
Timothy (our guide) really made it a special trip with his expertise in the Eco system of the area and also the behaviour of the different animals we encountered. He was always happy to share information with us that made the experience so much more than we ever expected. For example when we stopped by a group of Lions he would tell us all about the family constellation and behaviour of the group and there were several other cars around and some of their guides were fiddling their phones.
We managed to see "the big five" and many more interesting animals and birds that we did not know existed.
We opted for a luxury safari in our own jeep as we had a wedding anniversary. It was so worth it and Timothy made everything special with picknick lunch out in the wild Serengeti plains. Also the lodge Singing Grass tented camp made the evening special for us.
We highly recommend Altezza as a company and they have very good lodges to choose from. These are the 3 we stayed at.

Unforgettable Masai Mara safari with Safari Line Defender
Rose was wonderful from start to finish: super friendly and always quick to respond. They picked us up right from our hotel, and everything ran exactly as planned, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guides in the Masai Mara, Boni and Denise, were amazing too. Highly recommended!

Grayson, The best guide ever
We choose camping for 3D2N. Whole schedule was perfect. We saw ALL big 5 also 6 groups of lions. The best part was our guide Mr. Grayson. He was sooo kind and if we ask something, he answer everything to us. He drive smooth like butter. The only dissapointed part was car condition. Electricity does'nt work well, Also freezer too. We expect freezing beer during safari. But our beer was not cold at all. Exept that, Everything was perfect.

Excellent safari experience
Me and my husband did a 5 day safari with Golden Trips for our honeymoon and had an absolutely amazing time! The trip was very well organised and the itinerary clearly set out. Golden tours was one of the very few itineraries that included 2 nights in Serengeti for the 5 days Safari which is worth going for. Also you get to do Safari on the last day rather than it just being a trip back so you get the most out of the full trip. Our driver Olaa was fantastic. He made sure to make the safari as smooth and exciting experience as possible and was extremely informative about all of the wildlife we saw. We saw so much more that we expected. Olaa was always clear about logistics so that we knew what to expect each day. Most importantly, we felt safe with him. He respected both the animals and the park rules and regulations which we really appreciated. We would recommend Golden Trips to others.
