Our safari experience in Tanzania was truly unforgettable, thanks to our fantastic guide, Kelvin. He was incredibly knowledgeable about so many subjects, from local culture and language to the animal kingdom and native flora. One of the highlights was listening to him explain the delicate balance of the ecosystem and how the animals and plants we encountered all played a role in maintaining the biosphere’s homeostasis. His ability to bring nature to life made every sighting even more fascinating.
Beyond his knowledge, he was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and intuitive to our needs, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We also really appreciated him teaching us a few Swahili phrases along the way. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone visiting Tanzania!

We had a very good experience with Sunstrip Africa Safaris during our visits to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Tekala coordinated our trip very well, and our guide, Philip, was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the safari. Everything was well organised, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

A wonderful exploration of Africa
Our guide Peter's approach was fairly standard, but what really stood out to me was our cook — the food was incredibly delicious and hygienic. Overall, this was a trip that lived up to expectations: we got to witness the wildebeest crossing the river and saw a wide variety of wild animals.

From the minute he collected us Steven was absolutely top class. He collected us in Nairobi and drove to Maasai Mara stopping at the rift valley viewpoint along the way to take in the breathtaking scenery. When in Maasai Mara he went above and beyond to make sure we got to see all of the big 5 which we did see. He was so kind to us and was asking a lot of questions about our culture and country and answered any questions we had with excellence. From Nairobi to Maasai Mara to Nakuru and Naivasha back to Nairobi I couldn’t fault him at all and he made our trip to Kenya an unforgettable one. Thank you so much Steven.
