From Lost Luggage to Amazing Wildlife – Our Unforgettable Tanzania Safari Safari booking
My friend and I went to a six-day, five-night safari from Sote Tours and Travel Agency. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. It was a fantastic experience, and we had a lot of wonderful moments. One day prior to going on the safari, our tour operator Kelvin met with us to brief us on what to expect. Additionally, we had encountered some problem with our luggage being misplaced by the airline company and Kelvin assisted us in communicating with them so that we can receive our bags in a timely manner. It felt amazing, and we were so glad that he was so thoughtful to go the extra mile and help us with that issue.
Our guide, Reuben was excellent as he was very friendly, patient with us, and had vast knowledge of the wildlife and the places we visited. What surprised me most about Reuben is that his observation skills are really amazing as he most of the time would spot a game before we could actually see any animal using our naked eyes. We saw lots of wild animals but I think this would not have been possible without Reuben’s vast experience in tracking wild animals. Besides the observation skills, he is also very patient with us giving explanations on various aspects of wildlife we came across. Honestly, I still haven’t understood how he was able to find his way along all the trails we took in the forest and how he always knew the shortest way to wherever we wanted to go!
We did have a vehicle breakdown during the safari, which I guess can happen with the rough roads in the national parks. Funny enough, this turned out to be one of our favorite experiences on the tour. Some other safari guides stopped to help as well, and it was a pleasure to see the degree of collaboration and solidarity between other companies. Reuben remained calm and handled the situation brilliantly. Instead of ruining our day, we enjoyed the game viewing and got to see a different side of the safari experience.
The accommodations were equally pleasant and comfortable places to stay, and we enjoyed the different lodges with their various atmospheres. Having spent so many hours on game drives, it was always a pleasure to arrive at the accommodation and unwind. Everything ran smoothly, and we always felt taken care of.
In general, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend taking a safari tour in Tanzania, with Sote Tours and Travel, any day. Kelvin kept excellent contact with us and took great care of every detail. Reuben made every game drive an experience worth having, imparting his knowledge about the tour and the Tanzanian landscape and animals. We are very grateful to these wonderful people for the experience of a lifetime!

The perfect trip
I was very happy with Viatu as from the planning to the real trip everything was very easy, clear and perfectly running.
I particularly liked the web system they use for the planning. Until now, the best I have seen.
About the trip itself everything was according to our expectations, but many times well above them. The hotels proposed were in all cases perfect for us. The same applies for the rental car used.
Finally price was also very adequate for the trip we did.
Os course, without any doubt I will advise to go to Namibia with Viatu.
